While traveling my mail goes to my Pastor so I've been in contact with him about receiving the card...he hasn't yet. In the USAA app I was offered the opportunity to virtually add the new card to my gwallet and I did. I hadn't received the physical card so I didn't have the 3 digit security code on the back of the card. I didn't want to change it either for my own sense of security. Since being approved I've had to call in repeatedly and the card continues to intermittently decline. It's embarrassing and for me to call and be reassured 3 times and be declined 3 times is absolutely egregious!! Again, at 10:44 tonight, at the Red Sushi for dinner, for $51, the USAA credit card is again declined! I called USAA while at the table to resolve the issue and the rep on the phone obviously had no clue what to do because he asked me (in photos) to have the server continue to run the card and it continue to decline! I get fraud protection and I definitely appreciate it but when I'm in a restaurant and it's not a frivolous purchase. If I've explained that I'm out of town and yet to receive the card and I've validated and confirmed every single purchase attempt...4 TIMES TO 4 DIFFERENT REPRESENTATIVES! I've spoken with yet another rep who knows absolutely nothing!! This is Bullshit!!! 9.25.26 This morning I spoke with a "resolution specialist" which is an inflated title for someone who does even less than the customer service representative! After explaining my entire situation again, she starts in with the bloated canned text about their fraud protection system and how it cannot be overridden. Excuse me, that's tired bullshit to be completely honest! I've worked for a financial institution and that algorithm can be overridden...even rewritten! As I explained to the canned text girl after listening to her jargon, if it declines again I'm paying off the charges and closing ALL OF MY USAA ACCOUNTS! It's irrelevant to them I know, for me it's a statement that inept business practices will not be tolerated with any of my funds! The resolution process is non-existent and there's no sense of accountability or ownership with any of the representatives I spoke with. Speaking of fraud protection: why wouldn't the larger purchases be flagged and declined like from Main Street Station, HomeDepot or Lowe's?! I got flagged and declined for attempting to get gas and dinner! If this was their infamous attempt at one call ( resolution, it was an EPIC FAILURE. At that point I researched the law myself- took no more than 1/2 hour in google searches and determined they had given me incorrect advice and I didn't need to complete the form. Upon calling them back, they said yes of course I didn't need to submit the form. But they had already spent $1500 in what seemed to me trying to find ways to charge me more. Seems unethical to me.

Unfortunately this firm mixed my bank account with another client, this having me receive two…read morerefunds. Instead of righting the wrong, I was asked to write a personal check to the client rather than having the firm account for their error. The first problem is that my data was given in error to another client. The second problem is that I was asked to write a personal check to their client. No ownership was taken for the mistake. I instead had the errant monies refunded to the IRS, which is the proper channel. Certainly more tedious for the other client, but the right thing to do. This firm's suggestion of me writing a personal check put me in potential auditing by IRS for "double dipping" if you will, as it would show me having two refunds in the same year. I have made my complaint to the board of accounting for the state of Maryland. I would suggest treading lightly given the lack of discretion and ethics used by this firm. I have moved on to a much more sound practice.

The branch took no responsibility, and had us call customer service. Customer service has so far not solved our problem and needs two hours to figure this out.
