People are always commenting that they would have been crushed by what I have been through. And, yes, I went through it (still am going through it), but instead of counting my victories, I counted my challenges. It was ONE BATTLE AFTER ANOTHER. Half the time I could not set my feet long enough to counter punch. Sometimes all I could do was jab; Pivot to the next problem and return, quickly, to the initial problem just to parry what was still developing there. That was more crushing than the totality of all of my problems. But after half a decade of getting crushed... you weaken a little. Brett quickly assessed me, my situations and my talents. Unfortunately, my experience did not meet my expectations. I initially left a 1-star review because I was disappointed with the service and the lack of results. After I posted the review, I was contacted and asked to remove it. I was told that they would work with me, take a better approach, and help me with my job search, and I was given assurances that I would receive better support and results. Based on those assurances, I decided to give the service another chance and removed my review. Unfortunately, after giving them approximately another two months, I did not notice any meaningful improvement or change in my job-search results. I have several years of IT and cybersecurity experience and relevant industry certifications, and I have been actively applying for cybersecurity positions. Despite this, I did not see the level of recruiter interest, interviews, or opportunities that I expected after investing $1,800 in professional career coaching. I understand that no career coaching company can guarantee someone a job, and I never expected an absolute guarantee of employment. However, when someone pays $1,800 for a professional coaching service, they should reasonably expect personalized guidance, a clear strategy, consistent support, and measurable progress. What was especially disappointing to me was that I removed my original 1-star review because I trusted the assurances that things would improve. After giving the service additional time, I still did not see meaningful changes. I am sharing this review based on my personal experience so that others can make an informed decision before spending a significant amount of money on career coaching. Unfortunately, for me, the $1,800 investment did not provide the value or results I was expecting.

9.24.26 A few weeks ago I drove down to Las Vegas to see…read morefamily and get away from Seattle. While traveling USAA offered me a pre-approval for one of their credit cards. While traveling my mail goes to my Pastor so I've been in contact with him about receiving the card...he hasn't yet. In the USAA app I was offered the opportunity to virtually add the new card to my gwallet and I did. I hadn't received the physical card so I didn't have the 3 digit security code on the back of the card. I didn't want to change it either for my own sense of security. Since being approved I've had to call in repeatedly and the card continues to intermittently decline. It's embarrassing and for me to call and be reassured 3 times and be declined 3 times is absolutely egregious!! Again, at 10:44 tonight, at the Red Sushi for dinner, for $51, the USAA credit card is again declined! I called USAA while at the table to resolve the issue and the rep on the phone obviously had no clue what to do because he asked me (in photos) to have the server continue to run the card and it continue to decline! I get fraud protection and I definitely appreciate it but when I'm in a restaurant and it's not a frivolous purchase. If I've explained that I'm out of town and yet to receive the card and I've validated and confirmed every single purchase attempt...4 TIMES TO 4 DIFFERENT REPRESENTATIVES! I've spoken with yet another rep who knows absolutely nothing!! This is Bullshit!!! 9.25.26 This morning I spoke with a "resolution specialist" which is an inflated title for someone who does even less than the customer service representative! After explaining my entire situation again, she starts in with the bloated canned text about their fraud protection system and how it cannot be overridden. Excuse me, that's tired bullshit to be completely honest! I've worked for a financial institution and that algorithm can be overridden...even rewritten! As I explained to the canned text girl after listening to her jargon, if it declines again I'm paying off the charges and closing ALL OF MY USAA ACCOUNTS! It's irrelevant to them I know, for me it's a statement that inept business practices will not be tolerated with any of my funds! The resolution process is non-existent and there's no sense of accountability or ownership with any of the representatives I spoke with. Speaking of fraud protection: why wouldn't the larger purchases be flagged and declined like from Main Street Station, HomeDepot or Lowe's?! I got flagged and declined for attempting to get gas and dinner! If this was their infamous attempt at one call ( resolution, it was an EPIC FAILURE. Repeatedly cold transferred and having to explain myself over and f#@!ing over again! Well see what happens...to be continued again
