I had them come and put my kitchen countertops in. I loved them so much. I had them come back and put my bathroom countertop in I could not be happier for several reasons first and foremost. AVOID THIS BUSINESS, LEARN FROM OUR MISTAKE OR RISK THEM RUINING YOUR KITCHEN REMODEL. June 2021 Wife and I started working on finally remodeling our kitchen. We already had the new kitchen designed and cabinets ordered from Lowes. Needed counter tops but Lowes was behind on obtaining material. We thought we would check out local options and considering obtaining construction supplies during Covid has been difficult, we would try a local option. We went to Elite and dealt with Brenda Tinoco directly. She and her husband Alejandro "Alex" Tinoco showed us the material they had available and my wife fell in love with the crystal grey quartz counter tops. They provided us an estimate and we paid up front for the material. Arrangements were made with both Brenda and Alex that since our cabinets were taking 16 weeks to be built and delivered, that we would contact them once they were installed and they could come out to install the counters. They would hold the material that we purchased and it would be ready to go when the time came. Alex told us directly that it would take one day to do the template, next day to install. Left after paying for close to 1/2 up front, felt that the counter top issue had been resolved. If only I knew what was to come. Please read on. Fast forward to the beginning of the nightmare and misrepresentations made from this company. Appointment was arranged by me for Alex to come out on September 30, 2021. I had to change this appointment to the following Monday, October 4, 2021. I wait all day until I finally was able to call Alex later in the day. He said he would be out the next day. (Notice, I had to call him, he didn't call me to let me know that) His excuse was that he was falling behind in another project. I thought okay, I would give him the benefit of the doubt. October 5, 2021 (Tuesday) I wait for them to show up again. Again, they do not show up and I have to track down Alex via telephone again. He tells me that he had to send someone down to LA to obtain some material. Suspicious as I had already purchased the material in June and they were supposed to hold it, not use it for another job. This told me that they used my material that I purchased without asking me. As I had already paid for half the material, I again gave them the benefit of the doubt. I was told by Alex that he would definitely be out there the next day. Alex tells me no later that 10 AM. October 6, 2021, I again wait. By the time it gets to noon, I call Alex again. He tells me that it is going to definately happen today, that he had to send someone down to Bakersfield for the material. (Notice, the day before it had been LA. Obviously, getting difficult to keep things straight with these folks) Alex and his team finally show up around 1:30 pm. They have the materials, but tools are on another truck. We wait and the other truck appears. They start to do work. Specifically, these are the items we wanted installed: 1. Stainless steel farmhouse sink. They indicated that they provide this service and it would be no issue. 2. Install Quartz countertops. Now, assuming that installing countertops is what this company does, I assume that they would know what they were doing. WRONG After they were done, Counter tops looked good. Alex only stayed during half of the job but specifically told me that if there were any issues, to contact him directly. He wanted to make sure that I was happy. October 7, 2021 Wife and I walk into the kitchen the next morning and try to open one of the top drawers. It sticks on the counter top. These are all maple plywood, semi custom, brand new cabinets that the top drawers will not open and close correctly because Alex and his team failed to properly measure and check the drawers before installing the Quartz. It appears that the plywood they used on the counter tops was too thin, had it been thicker, I would not be having the issues with the drawers that I am having. I take a video of it and text it to Alex, telling him about the issue. He tells me that he will come out later and take a look at it. Kitchen plumbing is now delayed and can't be installed because I am waiting on Alex to fix this. I contact Alex as he had not shown up I ask him if he is coming out today. ( I know, stupid question right?) He said he will. I took a full day off work again waiting for him. He finally calls me at close to 5:00 PM, asks he if can come by tomorrow morning. ( I had already taken two days off waiting for him to appear) I tell him no. He asks when I would be off work so he could stop by. I inform him that I will be back home at 5:00 PM. He said he can stop by then. October 8, 2021 I texted him twice today to confirm that he was coming by, he confirmed that he was, that the store closes at 5:00 PM and that he would swing by right after. Again, nothing. I have called and texted both Alex and Brenda. Texts are ignored. Calls go directly to voicemail that is not set up. read more

From choosing our countertops to installation it took a little over 2 weeks for scheduling issues, which is expected and understandable. What mattered the most was the quality and the craftsmanship which is definitely there. Highly recommend, as the quartz completely transformed our kitchen! read more

9/25/20 - Im giving credit where credit is due. The 5 stars given are based on their customer service not their work. We went into their Tulare store and they had a good selection of quartz prefab countertops , tile,sinks ,faucets. They can also order different quartz if you don't like what they have. Cassandra came to our house to measure for an estimate on our kitchen and bathroom countertops , she called ahead and arrived on the time and date agreed on. She had an estimate within a couple days for the Teltos quartz countertops,tile backsplash ,sink,faucet. The estimate was reasonably priced . We are still debating if to use their services based on their reviews from their Tulare and Bakersfield store ,not to mention the BBB complaint from their Bakersfield store. We'll update on who we go with. 10/23/20 - We ended up going with another granite/quartz company . read more

We are happy with the work that was done and the pricing. We are very happy with our new granite countertops, they look great! As with all construction, it is hard to predict how long things will take and it took a day longer than expected. The workers were efficient and knowledgeable. Walking in to elite we were greeted by a nice young girl that gave us some great prices. We came back and ordered our flooring and was told a much higher price. She ended up matching the original price she gave us which was nice. We ordered it for our entire house we're remodeling and paid in full. We then ordered tile for a shower and granite and backsplash tile and paid. After promising that our flooring was on the delivery truck many times the flooring actually came in about a month later than we were told it would come. I get it "COVID" creates delays(eye-roll)...we were promised a partial refund from the supplier for our inconvenience-which we never saw. Next their tile installers came to do the tile shower and installed the wrong tile. It was similar to what we picked out but a cheaper flat non-gloss version that stains very easily since it's white. And the flooring tile was the wrong color. We were told they would come seal it to prevent staining-which never happened. Then granite came a little late no big deal..they install it and it looks great. Next their tile installer comes to do backsplash and tells us there isn't enough to do the space even though they came out and measured before ordering. Come to find out they didn't order as much as we paid for. Also the tile is discontinued and no one has any more. I end up finding enough to finish the space 3 states over and 5x more expensive. The tile gets installed and it looks pretty but the next day the grout is cracked in the majority of the space. I contact the installer and they say they're going to come fix it-it never happened. During this time we dealt a lot with the owner, his wife, and the original young lady we talked to. For the most part they were polite but A LOT of false promises and mistakes that could have been prevented or at least fixed. Overall I suggest you pay a little more and go somewhere else and it will cost you a lot less in the end. read more

This company began lying to me from the beginning. They said three different times that my floors would be arriving and never did. They never returned calls or texts and I was only able to find out information by going down to the store. While I was there someone else was having the same issues with flooring and granite. I got back most of my money and went else where. read more

I just had my whole house renovated and Alex @Elitetile did an awesome job with my kitchen countertops! As with any contractor, there's going to be potentially some issues, but resolving the issue is what separates good contractors from bad ones. My wife and I discovered few spots on the quartz that we didn't like. I called Elite Tile and the next day Alex removed the piece and returned the following week with a perfect piece. That is what I consider a good contractor providing excellent service--Highly recommended! read more

Our rental property needed a kitchen remodel. I found Elite Granite to be reasonable in price. It's a family owned business and Alex will work with you to make sure you're satisfied with their work. Someone else's review mentions that they don't return calls but I didn't have that issue whatsoever. I always got a call back within a reasonable time. read more

They helped me find a finance option so I didn't have to come all out of pocket for these countertops. The seems of the tops are unnoticeable and the tops look flawless. After searching for awhile for a counter top for our laundry room we walked in to Elite Granite in Tulare. The young lady helped us out and were informed that more selections were in the back warehouse. Alex was working on another order but still took the time to help us and show us different options. Counter was installed and they did an awesome job. Counter and sink look great. Alex easy to talk with and made sure everything was left clean and to our satisfaction before he left. I urge you not to do business with this store, the manager is extremely dishonest and will rob you if he can. They charge for quality materials and install different colors. The owner asks for a deposit and than is going to spend it in Mexico and when he returns he no longer has enough for the material and delivers it when he wants, not on the agreed date. If you hire them to do the work they are always late or they don't show up and they make a lot of excuses. Just be careful who you get paid for your work. Some people have already told me not to do deals with that store but I ignored it and lost a lot of money because they are very irresponsible. read more

If I could give zero stars I would because quite honestly they do not even deserve the one star. They lied for over a week that my package was being delivered and promised day after day that it was gonna arrive the next day. The package finally arrived to the store and they had the nerve to tell me that they could not find what I had ordered. I got fed up with all their lies and awful service so I decided to take the product back and get my money back. But of course they couldn't even do that straight they had to make it complicated and we got law enforcement involved and they finally gave me my money back. They also lie about their prices they tell you a really low price at first and then when you go back the prices nearly tripled which is insane and they denied it when I brought it to their attention. Long story short save yourself the pain of having to deal with lying, disrespectful, and unprofessional people and go somewhere else. read more
