Awful experience. Went in on a Saturday to buy a house of wood floors and the lady couldn't even tell me pricing. They have these outdated books, some from 2021, that she was searching to find a price on one floor. Never mind that process on several options. What a mess! I'm really surprised they are still in business with how inefficient their business model is. Competing with the large companies like Floor and Decor, the local spots have to be exceptional and this was very far from that. Frustrated and headed to a larger Flooring store. read more

Elite floors went above and beyond. We are so happy with our experience with them. They were competitive in pricing with other local businesses and also thorough and professional. We had them do all new floors, painting of all the interior, and painting of kitchen cabinets. Kristin was a great communicator throughout the whole process and was quick to address any questions or concerns. Both teams working on the paint and the floors were very kind and professional as well. They all truly care about doing the job right and you being happy with it when it's all said and done. Will never do business with them again nor recommend them to anyone! They did a complete master bathroom remodel on our house in 2019. Fast forward 2 years and we have water leaking from the bathroom through the ceiling into our living room. After having a plumber out, he found out that everything is fine mechanically, however, the tub is leaking where the sealant is and the shower is leaking because the grout has completely worn away. I called Elite and explained the situation. The lady who answered agreed that this should not be happening after only 2 yrs. She said she would let Randy know and have him call me back later that day. No call! A few days go by and still no call. I call back and this time she says he'll call me back within an hr. No call! A few days go by and I finally make contact with Randy. He explains that the warranty period is already over but he will come check it out anyway. He comes and doesn't say much. When he leaves he said he'll let me know what he can do. Its been weeks and still haven't heard from him! I don't care what company you are, normally a good company cares about the work they do! The tub is barely used and yet the grout around the tile is literally falling out!!! ONLY after 2 years!!!! Such a disappointment! They are the type of facility that wants to do the work then be done and not accountable for how it holds up. read more

Randy contracted my job to sand and refinish my cabinets. His price was reasonable and the contractor was kind and courteous. I'm completely satisfied. The job was done in a few days just as agreed. Also, the flooring that Randy recommended called Earthwerks Luxury vinyl laminate is a great product especially with large dogs. I'm considering my carpet purchase in the next few weeks. Excellent pricing on Mohawk carpet with pad backing easy to install and no stretching. I would definitely recommend Randy to anyone considering a remodel. read more

If you expect communication and follow through from a contractor do NOT call these people. They did not communicate with me and installed their choice of base which was not something I chose. When the job was completed by their contractors they didn't even come out to check the job or see if I was happy. Randy called a week later looking for money and when I told him what happened he argued with me. Said ALL of his customers call him to give him money. Then the other guy there lied and said he had called us because Randy put him on the spot. Crappy crappy customer service. Will NOT be using these guys again! read more

Hello folks! I wanted to provide a detailed review of this company. About 6 weeks ago this company installed floors in my unit approximately 700 sq ft total. When doing so they remove 1" of concrete that was my only fire rating and sound barrier. Instead of presenting me with a solution they installed floors which in turn made my unit no longer up to code! Unfortunately they did not offer a refund so that I could fix my unit. Instead they told me that they would see me in court. I do not at all find this acceptable considering the facts that the floor does not meet code. I would highly suggest if your looking for flooring installers please do your homework and look elsewhere! read more

When Randy (the boss) first came to my house for a quote to install bathroom tile, I thought he was nice enough. They did get us scheduled in quickly and quoted a reasonable price. Let me just say I loved Thomas and his crew who came out to actually do the work. However, after they were done with the job, it was very clear that the layout had not been thought out beforehand. Carrera white marble tile is what we had installed, and it was very clear that they did not alternate which box they took the tiles from when installing; they simply used up one box and then moved on to the next. So our floors looked very splotchy. Luckily the crew was coming back out to seal the floors, so we pointed it out to them when they came back the following day. At that point, Thomas agreed with us that it didn't look correct and he said he'd come back out in a day or two to fix it. Luckily, he was able to make it look a TON better (although it's still not 100% as we didn't have enough leftover/extra tile to use on all the splotchy spots). We paid them the original quoted price for their work and gave a generous tip, simply because Thomas and crew were always so kind and worked hard. When I spoke to the boss, Randy, on the phone the following day, he absolutely chewed me out because we didn't pay Thomas and crew more than the quoted price for the "extra" work they did (apparently fixing a bad tile job increases the price?!). Randy then proceeded to talk down to me, saying over and over that it was MY fault because I bought "defective tile." He was extreme harsh and unprofessional on the phone, and I could barely get a word in as he ranted on and on about it being "all my fault". I told him I would not pay more because the crew didn't do "extra" work, they simply fixed their own error, which Thomas had even admitted to. I will NOT be using this company again and advise everyone else to do the same. It's sad because I really liked Thomas and crew, but cannot believe how unprofessional and rude Randy was to me. It's too bad, because we were going to use them for our entire kitchen and master bath remodels if we liked how or floors turned out. read more

I honestly cannot recommend this business to anyone! It was a completely horrible experience dealing with this place!!! When we paid for our flooring and installation we were told it would only take 2 days to complete the install. It took a week and a half to get this done. We purchased wood flooring and scheduled the install to begin on a Saturday. They called us the day before the install, which was Friday, after 4pm and left a message stating it would be best for them to drop off the flooring a day early so the wood can get "acclimated" to our house. By the time I received their message and was able to call them back they said the installers had already left for the day. First, if they would have called us earlier in the day or told us this when we ordered the material then we could have made arrangements to let them in our house to drop off the materials. Saturday they only stayed for a couple of hours after removing our carpet and did not install any flooring at all. They couldn't even remove the vinyl flooring in the bathroom because they said they didn't bring the right tool and we're not told it was vinyl flooring; they said they brought tools to remove tile but not vinyl which was completely unacceptable! When they returned on Sunday they didn't even have all of the wood trim they would need to complete the installation of the wood floor. They returned on Tuesday and installed part of the bathroom tile... why did they only install part of the tile? Because they didn't bring enough! What kind of idiotic flooring company does not bring enough tile with them when THEY are the ones that came out and measured our floors themselves!!! They came back on the following Friday and still were unable to complete the job because they still didn't have the remaining tile needed or the remaining trim. I called and spoke with one of the sales people and she said the owner was not able to talk and wouldn't be available until The following Monday. I emailed this idiot and told him he needed to call me on Monday. He finally called and actually acted like he was shocked that I was upset. They finally returned on Tuesday to finish the job. If my father in law was not available to come and let them into our home while we were at work then it would have taken even longer to finish this job. I can only recommend that anyone even thinking about hiring this place to install your floors to Stay Away! I heard every excuse from the owner himself and I really don't feel that he even cared about what we were going through. There is apparently no communication between everyone in the company because no one really even knew what was going on from day to day! I'll never do business with this place again and I will never recommend anyone go there as well! If I could give this place a half star I would. read more

Was unhappy with tile tear out. Randy James, the owner, came to my house with attitude and threatened to put a lien on my house because I did not pay at time of completion.
