Is there any way to give zero stars?
Rude to me and really harsh with my 6 month old puppy. This was his first full groom so I thought having it done at a person's house might be less dramatic for him. Boy was I wrong. He had been to Petsmart twice with no problems.
She complained multiple times the moment I got there. I should've been having the dog groomed since he was eight weeks old. His coat was too long, so she would have to wash him blow dry him out and then trim him with clippers. She immediately started cutting his hair with the trimmers, and when it wouldn't go through like she wanted she put him into the washing sink right away and started spraying him all over, holding him by his leg and grabbing the hair on top of his head. Extremely traumatic for the dog and for me to watch.
I asked her to leave his coat long, to give him a puppy cut, with a roundhead and she left a half an inch on his body. The cut is crooked on the top of the head and on either side of the face is lopsided. There are long pieces all over, so his coat is choppy and looks horrible.
I told her because it's cold, 17° today, I wanted his coat to stay long until the spring. She said he would be plenty warm...
She said if I wanted to keep him long it would cost $30/month and I would have to bring him once a month. She said if I wanted him scissor cut it would've cost $100.
Really really NOT happy with her demeanor or the job she did.
I met someone walking at the park and they suggested her, saying how great she was? Do not go to her, unless you don't love your dog and you want him to be tormented. Or you don't want to get what you paid for.
She needs to get out of the dog grooming business if she hates it so much. read more
