I really enjoyed speaking with her. When I arrived at the office this morning, the two young ladies at the desk were polite. I was taken back almost immediately by my radiology tech, Chelsea who was wonderful to work with. She was informative, pleasant, gentle, understanding and patient. I really enjoyed my visit today from start to finish, which is very atypical for me when having to deal with medical procedures. Thank you to the Hulen location of Envision Imaging for making this experience pleasant because I was really dreading it.

Last minute our usual location called me and moved my son's X-ray to this location. Still very…read moreclose to my home so I just switched my plans and headed there. The staff was super accommodating and very personable with my adult disabled son. They already had all his info and the staff who did the scan was super caring, chill and eager to help our situation. We also had a few funny moments from my son so the appointment was very light and positive. This location is actually more convenient to the other so this will be our new X-ray home! Every time I go to Envision, I am haunted by the 'check in online' constantly until you do it and…read more'arrive 15 minutes early to 'check-in'. Well, I have two problems with this. 1) Filling out these forms online before your visit is already checking in. It says it right there. And of course, you can't do it just once. You have to do it, otherwise you're pounded with text reminders until you do and then you have to do it again a day before your visit. Like we have nothing else to do other than go through the check in process THREE TIMES, twice online and once at the facility. 2) Arrive 15 minutes before you appointment, well, I have a life, not much of one but it's mine. My time is important, just as important as anyone at Envision. If you want me to arrive 15 minutes early, make my appointment for 3:45 instead of 4pm. You're wasting my time with all of these 'check-ins' and as I said, my time is important to me. This policy is so 'strict' that arriving two minutes late at one appointment on the Oak Park facility due to traffic, they had me wait for 35 minutes before an office employee told me they'll be taking me in 15 minutes and 'sorry for the delay' for a CT scan that literally took 2 minutes at a different Envision. It took me longer to take all my metal off and put it back on than the scan did. When I complained, the woman told me I could talk to her manager and I told her, 'No, you can tell her. I don't repeat myself and it's just wasting even more of my time' I walked out and swore I'd never go back to that location. They were taking people that arrived AFTER me for more than a half hour because I was late by two minutes due to traffic. But this isn't the only problem location. ALL of them are like this. It's like a cult 'complete the check in forms online, do it again and arrive 15 minutes before your appointment to check in' and over and over and over again. And if you don't adhere to their policy, they make you wait. I will NOT arrive 15 minutes before my appointment. I will do my best to arrive AT my appointment time. Envision does not respect their clients and their time. In the future I will do anything I can to NOT go to an Envision center because of these two points. They must have gotten sick of getting complaints like this because there is literally NO WAY to make a complaint via email on their website. The only way I found was to put in a 'testimonial' on their site and I'm 100% sure this complaint will not be posted on their testimonials page but hopefully someone will see it and make a change, but I doubt it.

I was treated well, I was cared for in a timely fashion, and nothing went wrong. However... My appointment was made on a Tuesday morning. The date of the appointment was Thursday evening. In that short span of time, I was called 5 times and texted 6 times. Now I'll forgive the one call where they let me know about a cancelation and asked if I'd like to move up my appointment. Fair enough. But the rest was excessive by any measure. Seriously, I've had crazy exes on benders who called less frequently than did Gateway Imaging. Seriously, you guys. It isn't you, it's me. You need to find a new patient who is more into your level of communication. Look, I hope we can still be friends. But please, stop blowing up my phone.

I don't have even the words to articulate how absolutely amazing these people are. They got the…read morereferral from my drs office and I was called literally on my way home from that appt to schedule. They got me in very quickly. They also have appointments after 5 which was great! They told me copay before visit then called me to remind me of my appt the next day. When I first walked in it was so nice seeing a very clean waiting area. I was greeted immediately. I had an MRI that day without contrast, followed by an MRI with contrast on my pelvis and lower back. I went in and told them I was beyond dehydrated and I already have horrific veins as it is. (For reference- anytime I've been inpatient they have to get nurses trained in sono guided venipuncture just to take blood. And even then I get stuck no less than 4 times. I'm not exaggerating. To have an IV set, they have to call in the PICC team to set a midline. Which oftentimes I've had to be stuck 2-3 times for that as well. Which really paints a picture if you know the skill of the PICC team.) I didn't have high hopes, to say the least. They were very quick to take me back. The gentleman who set my IV, even though I could tell he was nervous, remained reassuring to keep me relaxed. He joked with me and made me laugh. Which really helped. He did have to stick me twice, but this was no fault of his own. But... he got my TINY sclerotic vein on ONLY the second try!! Mind you, I am on some medicine that has caused me to have some tremors. So I'm very shakey. They also offered me a blanket if I needed one. Anyone who has had an MRI knows it's not quick, at all. You have to lay completely still for about an hour. I was in extreme pain. I cried the entire time. The team were amazing at reassuring me and just kept saying how sorry they were and just a little longer. I have never had such an amazing experience. I didn't catch the names of the people that day, but I hope you read this and know that I thank you.

They taught me how to remove it and let me practice getting it off. Once I knew I could take it off myself, the panicky feeling subsided. They also sent me a very easy to read report of my results. With the ortho follow up a full week later, it would be 3 weeks until I could learn if I needed surgery. All the while burning sick leave and vacation at work. So I called scheduling and tried to find an earlier date. The scheduler said they had a spot in Ft Worth today at 2:15. It was now 9:30 am, that office is at least a 2 hour drive, I said heck yeah sign me up! The scheduler said they would send me a text with the address and confirmation. I left just before noon....not wanting to be late and waste their time. BUT, i had not received the text. So I called the number while I was on my way 817-289-2002. Spoke to another very nice person. I let her know I had not received the confirmation text like they said I would, so I wanted to call and confirm the appointment and location....after all it was a 2 hour drive...... The scheduler was perplexed why I did not get the text but... joyously confirmed my appointment was good to go! She also let me know my part to pay was also $222. I said ok and kept driving. I arrived at 2:00 for the 2:15 appointment. Again, not wanting to waste anyone's time. I go into the office and let the clerk know Im there for my 2:15 appointment. I could tell she wasn't finding anything, so I added, its really at 2:30 but I came in early for the paperwork. The clerk said 'sir your appointment isn't for today because we have nobody here who can do it .' You had an appointment for the 27th and then the 21st, but it is not today. They know we don't have anyone here on Fridays to do the GAD.... She then says 'Are you sure you called the right place?' I showed her the number I called, and she looked perplexed....and said well thats our scheduling number.. I call the scheduler while Im standing there at the window. She once again confirms my appointment is for today..... but needs to check on things and puts me on hold. The phone rings right inside the window to the girls I was talking to...... Lots of Umhmmm, Umhmm....Uhmmm. Then girl number 2 says Did you call our scheduler.....I said yes Im on hold with here now......She then says OH she just called and asked us to reschedule you....... Can you come back monday????? What in the shit show is going on at this place? Talk about amateur hour. Nevermind I will have been driving 4-5 hours (Friday afternoon traffic leaving ft worth yay) I'm going elsewhere.......You guys can have it.
