I had a very disappointing experience at this dental office. While they were able to schedule me quickly, the front desk experience was unprofessional, and the office environment did not feel clean or welcoming. During my X-rays and exam, the staff gave unclear instructions and communicated poorly. The doctor repeatedly asked me questions without allowing me to fully respond, and I was not given a clear explanation of what was found on my X-rays. I was then told I needed a root canal with very liexplanation. During the appointment, a bonding material was applied to my teeth without clearly explaining what was being done. It was left so thick that it affected my bite, and they had to have the doctor return to grind it down. Overall, the experience felt disorganized and unprofessional. For the most part, the office experience was fine,l - the receptionists were friendly, scheduling was easy, and the hygienist did a good job (she was soft spoken but very sweet). Now the dentist, while polite and frequently did check ins while he finished my cleaning, was rough. I won't be going back. If it makes sense, I like him more as a person and not so much as a professional with sharp objects in my mouth :( I feel so bad saying this but honestly if I had read a review that explained what I'm saying, I would have avoided coming here. Buyer Beware: My young adult daughter-in-law had a horrible experience with this dentist. She had already been the ER and had to wait to get in another 48 hours to get into this dentist and while in excruciating pain...so much pain that she had a hard time even opening her mouth so this dentist said "oh I can get it open" like a pompas elite who thinks he is so much better than his customers. He did not listen to her needs, did not solve the problem and so our family is trying to reach another emergency dentist as we speak in the area to get the issue resolved. She left this place crying and still in pain. I can't help but wonder if she was treated this poorly due to the fact she was on WA State Medical Assistance even though she works full time - she still qualifies. I think the name says it all. Evidently they are too elite for the those on medical assistance and so treat people like 2nd class citizens. read more

We went in for a chipped tooth. This dentist has the worst bedside manner and does not care about his patients. While there, waiting for him to help my autistic daughter, he was demeaning an older gentleman in the next room. When he came in to see my daughter, he immediately started scraping the upper part of the tooth and made her gums bleed. He got up and said he couldn't do anything unless she brushed her teeth and hammered her with insults about her oral hygiene. Again, my daughter is autistic. If any of you with special needs children understand, then you know there are certain things that are just not going to happen with your child, no matter what. I took him aside to explain that she was on the spectrum, and he didn't care. He told me to set a reminder and make her do it. I explained to him again how this was not going to work, and he brushed me off and kept telling me to make her do it. He then proceeds to go back into the room with my daughter, who was on the verge of tears to begin with and started banging on her teeth with the opposite side of the little round mirror tool. In the process, he made her chipped tooth so much worse and now she has pain. Not only did he make my child cry with his awful attitude, but he also made her tooth worse and refused to do anything to help! read more

On my mother's 80th birthday, she ended up with a sore tooth. I had to work, so we didn't we didn't arrive to the closest emergency dentist to our home until well after 4 pm April 11, Thursday. Dr Buhi accepted my mom right in, and did all that they could do to preserve her tooth, and make her weekend beach trip with her family an amazing experience. My mom has always been a person to go from 0-100 in pain, and need for immediate treatment, since her and I have been living together for the last three and a half years. That being said, it wasn't a huge surprise to me that the morning of April 12th, I woke up to her showing me her swollen jaw. I told her we were calling the moment this dentist opened to see if we could get right in...we were scheduled to leave at 11 AM that day for our trip to Seaside for my mom's birthday. They got my mom right in, and her need for the tooth to be extracted was imminent. Dr. Buhi was wonderful with my mom, and he offered her whatever she preferred (laughing gas or not)...she opted for not. He numbed the area nicely and the tooth was out momentarily thereafter. My mom was super pleased with her pain free experience at the office. She needed to get prescribed pain meds for when future pain came, which briefly it did. By the next day, Saturday, she didn't need any pain meds and was ready to enjoy our beach trip for the rest of that day and Sunday. I loved the Elite teams care for my mom, and two weeks later, I was in to get my teeth cleaned and was quite pleased with my experience also. read more

I wish this could be a zero star. I DO NOT RECOMMEND! I had an abscessed tooth and I was in so much pain. This dentist took my health insurance and could see me quickly. I was told my only option was to have it pulled. The dentist did numb, but not enough and I kept saying I was in pain and he did NOT listen. I was sent home with nothing. No gauze or anything to help the wound, no antibiotics because he said since he pulled the tooth, the abscess would go away. Nothing to help with pain at all! This was a Friday, by Monday my infection was worse and I was in SO MUCH PAIN. Dentist finally prescribed antibiotics and something for pain. I will NEVER go back. Worst experience EVER. The receptionist and assistant apologized, so great staff EXCEPT for the dentist. read more

Worst dentist I have been to. First (and only time) I went, the dentist was very rough while cleaning my teeth. Came home with my gums all cut up and was in a lot of pain for a few days after. He told me I had 4 cavities, then proceeded to numb me and fill one of them, without even asking me for consent. To make things even worse, he didn't file the composite filling down at all so my tooth just had a big lump of filling on it, I couldn't eat on that side for a while after. Ended up having to go to another dentist to have him fix it and I got a second opinion on the other three "cavities" I supposedly had. I had no other cavities. Super dishonest and upsetting to me that this happened. This same exact situation also happened to my dad. I saw a few other reviews of people who had the same thing happen to them. I would highly recommend this office! I manage a dental office and our doctor is out of town until January 7th. I had a dental emergency and called several offices. It took me an hour and a half before I found this office. I am so glad I did. They were so gracious on the phone, got me in with in an hour and were so accommodating. When I arrived again the front desk was amazing, I was seated in a timely manner and the dental assistant was very nice and informative. The person who stood out the most was the doctor. Ok, some backstory : I do not like going to the dentist. Who does, right ? I have had lifelong dental issues and have had more than one dentist basically cause me to shrivel up and die a little inside because of how they treated me based on the messed-upness of my teeth. One dentist once even outloud said, "Scary," when he examined my teeth. Oh, yeah, good times. Another dentist told me when I was in my late 20's to expect my teeth to be falling out and needing dentures by the time I'm 40. (I passed 40 more than 10 years ago and have yet to loose a tooth, but I digress...) And when I was a teenager an older man, a DENTIST, was flirting with me when he suddenly said, "You know, you'd be a total babe if it weren't for your teeth." Yeah, I don't have great history with dentists. So for me, avoiding the dentist is not about physical pain, I am no princess, I can handle that. It's the psychic emotional pain of being told terrible things about your body which translates to appearance which then translates to shame and embarrasment. Thus, I avoid the dentist to avoid all those complex emotions that get provoked by letting total strangers examine my teeth. Don't even get me started on the spotlight that has to glare down upon you while being examined. I've had dental coverage from my job for five years. It has taken me five years to finally make an appointment, and it's been much more than five years since my last trip to a dentist. Dr Bhui had already treated every member of my family so I already knew he was a solid, reputable dentist. He has taken great care of my whole family. And now, he and his staff have taken great care of me. He has the BEST chairside manner of any dentist I've ever encountered. Attentive to the patient's comfort and need to ask questions... and he has a great sense of humor. I have never joked around with a dentist before, but Dr Bhui has an awesome personality that allows for laughter. I have actually enjoyed both of my appointments and have zero anxiety about returning. Today I had 2 wisdom teeth pulled, which of course was a bit nervy, but he and his staff quickly put me at ease. I high-fived him when he was done, that's how smooth and easy it was. He is not only helping get my teeth in better shape, but is also helping to erase the negative feelings I have had about dentists based on years of difficult encounters. I'm very disappointed in this dental office. I have been here a couple times to have work done on my teeth and it was alright for the most part and I even referred a couple people to them. I called today to make an appointment for a broken tooth and they said very rudely "tomorrow at 9am" I said "I'm sorry, I have to work so I cant make that. what about Wednesday?" He said "no, we have no other appointments." I said "ok, i'll have to call someone else because I have to work tomorrow." He said "ok, bye!" Not even enough courtesy or respect to find something else that would work for us both. I will not return here again, unfortunately. Bhui found problems or created problems with my teeth that didn't exist with my previous dentist and then made sure to max out (use up) all my dental insurance as quickly as he could and charge me a lot of money to boot. Bhui really messed up several of my teeth and I have to suffer with pain from the damage he caused everyday. The negative reviews below are absolutely true and should serve as a warning to others. I love this dentist. He is charismatic and is always looking to help me with the next tooth that bothering me most. I was especially nervous and embarrassed coming in the first time because I haven't taken great care of my teeth and knew they were rough but he never makes me uncomfortable. I love him even more when an assistant started commenting on my lip ring being bad for my teeth and he responded by saying I was a grown woman who likely knows that already and I really appreciated it. I took my 4 year old daughter here as our insurance changed- this dentist (Dr. Bhui?) is NOT a pediatric dentist but I'm sure he likes to bill as one. He was not very accommodating to my scared 4 year old, almost like he expected her to have her tooth excavated without an issue. At one point she was saying "ow!" and he told me "there is nothing hurting her". He also didn't properly wear his mask all the time, and I expected him to be wearing an N-95 mask, or at least a face shield. Instead, his mask loosely hung over his nose or below his nose. The dental assistant seemed new and he was berating her right in front of us. The front desk staff and assistants were friendly. Will not go back here and will be relating this experience to the pediatric dentist office that referred us :( :( read more

Finally, I have my teeth fixed! I just finished getting all my fillings yesterday. After years of delaying care while I tried to find a good dentist I could afford, Dr. Bhui helped me make plan to address my many issues: deep cavities, cracked teeth, and fillings that had fallen out. I hate being in the dentists chair; the longer I sit in the waiting room and "the chair", the more and more anxious and fearful of pain I get. That's why I loved how fast was in and out the door. I was seen quickly, numbed fully, and drilled'n'filled very efficiently--no messing around. Dr. Bhui and the staff are also friendly, compassionate, and want to make sure your needs are fully met. Me and my husband choose this place because it would accept our insurance. On our first visit the dentist diagnosed me with 4 cavities. And I have only had 1 other cavity in my whole life. His plan was to fill two that day and have me come back for two more. I had never had pain in any of the teeth mentioned but I trusted him to do his job. After the two were filled, they are way too big and don't fit my other teeth as well as ache. I chose not to go back for the other two "cavities" and they have not bothered me once. I think he was lying to get more money, which is extremely upsetting considering I value my teeth! But, that's not all. For my husband, who was only separated by a single wall, the dentist insisted he had to have his wisdom teeth removed that day. Kameron agreed to it, but the experience was awful. His numbing seemed to be rushed because he was able to feel. After the procedure, he was hardly given any home care instructions. I would like to say that we only came in for a cleaning. I found Elite Dentistry after visiting four other dentists first. I will be coming back for my fifth visit to get a cap put on a broken tooth after my front bridge was done last month. They do great work, I feel totally relaxed with them and they seem to really care about how you feel as opposed to other dentists that felt like they never had enough time. Their prices and scheduling are very good as well. I never post on Yelp becuse they only show you the bad reviews (at the top) unless you advertise your business with them but I really like this Dentist and felt I should add my opinion. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for reviews on anything! Let's see if this review gets buried at the bottom. I had a major dental emergency and my chosen regular dentist was playing the "lets schedule you out for two months" game. But after a week of constant headache and severe pain, Dr. Bhui was able to get me in immediately! Very kind, explained everything and got my problem taken care of quickly. I immediately set up another appointment for the following week because with that kind of care, he's going to be my only dentist in Vancouver. These people are a rip off my son went there paid $350.00 to have x-rays done to have all this teeth pulled for dentures. Now because he does not want to go with them they can't find the x-rays and say he was not a patient there. Well surprise money or x-rays or small claims court for these thieves. Dr. Bhui did an excellent job extracting my adult son's wisdom teeth. After just 24 hours my son is experiencing very little pain and is doing very well. This office was able to get us in within a week when we were turned down at our prior dentist because of our WA state insurance. thieves and liars is all i can say! they took 12 x-rays for 1 tooth i needed filled then after making me sit there for an hour listening to him do an extraction on the lady next to me obviously scheduled for the exact same time as my appointment, he took 2 min to tell me yes i need a filling but no they cant do it today. The ONLY reason i went to this dentist in the first place is they said for sure i would get the filling done today yet after making me sit through 12 x-rays and wasting over an hour of my time they "just didnt have time" for my 1 filling. this place is a joke 100% total scam avoid like the plague unless you want to me lied to and ripped off. read more

I went here because they were the only place that accepted my insurance. I had cracked my tooth eating a really hard candy and went there to get it fixed. While he was checking it out he stated that one of my teeth that had never been bothering me before had a "severe cavity" and needed to be fixed right then. All throughout the time he was drilling into my tooth, he kept telling me how bad it was, I had never noticed anything wrong with that tooth and he kept repeating how terrible it was, it actually made me feel kind of bad. He also started getting annoyed with me when I would need to swallow. After the filling, I had a lot of sensitivity and pain in that tooth that I never had before.. Not a good experience. read more

I went in for a consuilt on Dentures or whatever I could get to make my gums to quit hurting. When the dentist looked at the sores on my gums he said I would need to do at least 2 implants on the lower arch. He said that he wouldn't warranty that my gums would quit hurting though. When I pointed out that it was on his ad the there was a 5 yr warranty listed he said his assistant would explain that to me. she said that they warranty the dentures if they bread or teeth fall off but the ad doesn't say that and I told them so. I said I wasn't going to pay approx. $10,000 if there was not warranty that they wouldn't work for my problem. The ad was the reason I went to them. read more

My experience was really good. When I arrived the wait was only minutes and they had a game cube in the waiting room, which is cool. Dr. Bhui, the dental assistants and the receptionist, were very nice. I was nervous about whole thing but the Dr. talked me through it. The only thing I didn't like is when he and his assistant set the tools on my chest while they were working with other tools in my mouth.
