When we raised concerns, Mary--the stylist--claimed that unless your hair is "virgin" (i.e., never dyed), there's no guarantee for good results. That's a ridiculous excuse for botched work. If your stylist can't work with previously dyed hair, they shouldn't be offering color services at all. If you value your hair, your money, or even just basic respect--go somewhere else. One side was left about an inch long, the ends were orange, and I had four inches of bright yellow roots. My hair was so damaged that I was afraid it would break just from brushing it. I felt completely lost and thought I might have to cut most of it short. I was eating at the Thai restaurant next door and decided to stop in for a haircut. The ladies were so kind and comforting. They reassured me that toning my hair could help soften the bright orange and yellow without causing more breakage. Celine was gentle, knowledgeable, and patient. She took her time applying the toner, and even brushing my hair felt comfortable no tugging or rushing. After the stressful experience I'd just had, I was nervous, but Celine made me feel at ease. When she finished the toner and haircut, I honestly felt like I'd had the best haircut of my life. She's efficient and a true perfectionist. My color and haircut look amazing, and I can't wait to grow my hair out and have Celine do my highlights once the damaged parts are gone and we can start fresh. In the past I've done highlights, balayage, and overall color and they always pay special attention to all the details. I came in with hopes of blending my grey hair. After consulting with Kevin and Lily, they gave me an honest breakdown how long it would take, the maintenance, and expected cost based on my hair type, length, and texture. I have black medium length hair, it's thick coarse and semi wavy. After an hour of foiling and applying hair lightener, and an hour of processing, my hair turned out great. I felt so relaxed and loved the smell of the shampoo and conditioners they used on my hair while rinsing out the product. My grey blended hair dreams came true.
