I can't say enough incredible things about Darcio. He was the first person to ever dye my hair and I have vowed to never let another hair stylist touch my hair. No matter what style, length, or color you choose, Darcio will not only create the best hair for your looks and personality, but he always exceeds any expectations going in. I recently got my hair cut by Darcio, I personally couldn't afford to bleach my hair again so I just decided to stick with just a cut. I went in there with what to me looked like hair that desperately needed more bleach, treatment, a cut and a blowout. Darcio assured me that it was unnecessary to do any of those things, I didn't quite believe him at first but I trust him and his expertise. 30 minutes, in that chair, and my entire face looked like it changed. I was somehow utterly shocked by the beauty of my hair, considering how long i'd been with him. My hair looks like I went in for a $400 dye job, that's how talented he really is. The cut he did for me somehow brought the lightest colors of my hair to the top, made it look like I had done a 3 hour conditioning treatment, and made my entire face shape change. Not only is Darcio an incredibly talented hair stylist, he is also the most genuine and respectful man i've ever met. He moved here from Brazil to not only give his family a new life, but to create a brand for himself. In my personal opinion, he has reached the top of the food chain when it comes to hair styling. I WOULD GIVE MORE THAN A THOUSAND STARS IF I COULD! I can't begin to explain how wonderful Darcio and Carine are. The first day I walk into the salon he promised me that my hair would be completely different in a year. After the first visit I was more than happy with the extensions he applied to my hair, I've used 3 different techniques in the past and on the first visit I could tell that Darcio has the most beautiful hair extensions and such a wonderful technique that allows your hair to growth while you have them on. PERFECT HAIR AND PERFECT TECHNIQUE. It's been a year now and just yesterday Carine and Darcio took off my extensions because my hair is totally HEALTHY, I have so much hair and it looks PERFECT. I'm always excited for my hair appointment just because I will always be happy to enjoy a beautiful moment with them, besides their amazing job you will feel like home when you're with them. Darcio was referred to me by a friend, since i live in San Diego, he wasn't for me, I didn't want to drive that far to Santa Monica. Well...i would fly for this amazing cut and natural highlights i have......BUT i became desperate back then and Darcio made my cut and color experience incredible. He was SO attentive, asked specific questions, and helped me feel at ease when deciding lighter color options for my hair(what I've asked and wanted). He is so sweet and fun to talk to and has a great positive energy. And the scalp massage with the shampoo.....What??? Amazing. Also the ambience of this salon is lovely, with the vaulted ceilings and fresh modern look, making you feel like a million bucks already the moment you walk in the door. I went to salons in Beverly Hills that were recommended by friends and influencers, but my hair always ended up differently from what I asked. Darcio it's absolutely amazing. I'm from Brazil and I live in San Diego since 2002, I always have my hair blond however, was not the perfect color. Darcio is the best hairstylist I've ever had! He's been doing my hair exclusively for 2 years. All my friends say my hair has never looked so good! He does more highlights than anyone else, however he doesn't damage the hair. It's finally growing. It looks natural, and it grows out with no maintenance. He specializes in extensions, but they weren't for me. He does both my daughter and I, and she has a lot of hair. He's a saint! He even does little extra things like straighten her bangs, or a moisture treatment. Love him! Only problem is he's difficult to get an appointment with.
