Alex butchered my hair. This is five months later and I am still paying the price for her doing this to my hair. She and the salon refused to refund me. She and the hairdresser that referred me to her tried to gaslight me. Hope that $150 was worth this review. And don't be mislead by the owner's response to this review they did everything they could to fight my bank to be sure they got my money for this nightmare on my head. The owner is well aware of my situation. How anyone who owns a salon could be okay with this and not want to make it right is the worst customer service and business practice there is over $150. Nancy is amazing!! She was so patient and kind with me, taking the time needed to make sure my hair looked exactly as I pictured it! While all other stylists I've gone to have defaulted to styling my hair by blowing it straight, Nancy asked if I wanted it styled in its natural form (wavy/curly) so that I could see how it would look naturally. Even though it was my first time there, she was able to style it exactly how I do it, even down to my bangs which I blowdry in a specific way to get more volume! Beyond that, Nancy was also so patient with me when I asked if she could cut off another inch even after it was styled. The interior is very clean, modern, and inviting. I randomly picked Lindsey Smith from their website and she's amazing! I'm pretty adventurous and flighty about my hair. If there is a salon you should go to in LA it's definitely this one. You feel like you've built a relationship with your stylist and they remember little details about you. It feels very genuine and they treat you like a human being. I've been to other salons where they treat you like you're on a revolving food track. This is definitely different. For one, one time I got a haircut and it wasn't the best job with layering or bangs and they admitted their mistake and quickly fixed it for free without blaming me. That would for sure be a different experience elsewhere. Brittanie does an amazing job with colouring and Alexandra with hair. Also reasonably priced for the level of skill and results.
