Well, here is the real deal. Seanara DESERVES 5 stars! Why you get 5 star service and are treated like royalty while they do a 5 star job on you! Talking about being pampered (love it!), I really needed only a makeover by what turns out to be an amazing make up artist, Jenny, a very sweet Persian woman who I just now so adore. She did an amazing job with my make up that I want to come to her all the time! I've been to Make Up Forever, Blushington, Blow Angels, StephanieG, Make Up and Go! as well as some independent MUAs and she instantly has risen to the top! Great color matching and a flawless look. I was going out with friends for a big monthly dinner (13 of us!) and all I had were compliments all night! Both Ara and Sean got involved as well. Ara did an amazing job with my wig (I have to wear a wig due to an inherited hair problem), teasing my wig to give me a "big hair" look. Loved it! Sean assisted Jenny with my lashes with precise trimming effort. I really and truly felt like a princess here and want to come back again and again! Thank you Jenny, Ara and Sean, you are all the best! 5 Stars for you again and again!

Was very pleased with my experience here and highly recommend them for pre-party or pre-important event hair and makeup.

Serj is hilarious, easygoing, and truly the biggest hype-you-up stylist -- he makes the entire experience fun and comfortable. I got shatush highlights, toning, a haircut, and a Sebastian deep conditioning treatment, and the attention to detail was unreal. My color came out soft, blended, and natural, with zero harsh lines. The space itself is amazing. Serj works in a private studio inside 5773 Wilshire Blvd, and he designed the space himself with so much thoughtfulness. The salon chair and the hair-wash bowl (it literally comes to you!) are the most comfortable I've ever experienced -- no neck pain, no awkward bending. The wash alone felt luxury-level. Even though it was a long appointment, Serj had high energy the entire time and made the whole process enjoyable. Even after sleeping in the curls they held up beautifully the next day. If you're searching for: * best hair salon Los Angeles * hair color specialist near Miracle Mile / Mid-Wilshire * balayage or highlights near Beverly Grove or West Hollywood * haircut and color near Fairfax or Hancock Park * natural red/brown color expert -- Serj is the person you want. Absolutely recommend him for anyone who wants beautiful, natural color with a stylist who actually hypes you up and makes your hair look its best.

The first photo is of me, in the white t-shirt, at the Salon right after Serj was done. He had mixed together a great dye for my hair, and gently, but thoroughly applied it to my head. Serj then mixed together another dye for my facial hair, and a 3rd mix for my eyebrows, applying those just as perfectly. 2 shampoos, rinses, and an expert cutting later, the perfect color and shape of my beard, head, and brows is the final look you see in all the photos. The length and style of the fade on the sides and back of my hair are exactly what I was looking for. Also, the colors he mixes are perfectly natural looking! I love 1 day after photos, so the next 2 photos are of me recognizing that the look would be great for a cowboy night out.

My sister came here after having a good experience last year but she doesn't write reviews. She set up an with Gina on Monday and was there for 2 hours. She had her hair washed, cut and dried. She specifically went in with the intention to get a layered cut and a small area shaved on the back of her neck. She showed her pictures of what she wanted and While Gina was pleasant enough this is not what she got. Her hair has no layers and the area shaved was crooked. After paying $36 and then basically being forced to leave a tip she went home. She called the owner Laura to fix it but experienced further difficulties. From the min that she walked in to the min she left all she experienced was hostility. Laura wasted no time bashing her employee Gina and was rude throughout the entire session. She asked my sister 3 times before she started it she was sure she wanted a haircut. She made no pleasant conversation. She was constantly rolling her eyes and was very hostile. She continuously complained about her other coworker and she had the audacity to say that the shaved area wasn't that crooked and she didn't understand the big deal. The worst part is she was friendly with everyone else except her. Honestly if you're not happy with an employee fire them. If you disagree with the customer have the respect and sensitivity to keep the opinions to yourself. And if you can't keep your behavior pleasant while dealing with customers you shouldn't be in a position where they exist.
