Rhona is the best hair stylist in LA. Hands down. I've been going to Rhona for 18 years and my hair always looks great when I leave the shop. On Fridays and Saturdays she orders pastries and coffee for her clients which is a nice touch because usually I'm running late and don't get a chance to eat breakfast. The atmosphere of the salon is fun, we laugh joke and have a good time when I'm there. Also her prices are pretty good for someone with so much experience (honestly I think she should charge more but I'm not complaining) and she's SUPER fast. You won't be in the salon more than 1.5-2 hours when you go (unless you're getting a weave or braids, that's different) I hate salons that take up my whole Saturday. If you're looking for someone that can see your weave in flat (not bulky) and someone that can press black hair bone straight, Rhona is your girl! Highly recommend. read more

I've known Rhona for many years. She is definitely family! I began having my hair done by Rhona based on a satisfied experience my niece, D'Ette, had when Rhona straightened her hair. I've never been dissatisfied!!! I don't allow everyone to do my hair as I feel its just too big of a risk but with Rhona, I never worry. I typically sit in her chair and just relax. I don't need to share how I want it done or if she is going to cut too much. I totally trust her with my hair! Under her care, my hair has grown and become very healthy. Omg so today I thought was the worst day of my life until I found Ms.Rhona and her hair salon .. My original stylist canceled on me at the last minute and I needed to get my hair done for work on Monday and I didn't know what to do until I got on Google and searched and Found Ms Rhona.. I texted her my situation and she told me to come in and I felt like that was the best decision to make because when I walked in you could feel the love in the atmosphere and the comfort... She is so loving and very persistent when it comes to your hair she don't do half stepping.. She's so loving to where she offers you crescants when you are hungry... My hair dresser of many years had me waiting for 3 hours for her to ARRIVE at her own shop! It was the last straw and I found the Hair Experience. OMG! Rhona is awesome! She gave me the BEST, fastest press and curl I have ever had. She does not like her clients waiting long so she does not overbook like so many other hairdressers do. I have a press and curl but I have seen her weaves, they are AMAZING! Her braids are great as well. The best thing I like about Rhona is her pressing skills, they truly are the best. I was looking for someone to do my 8 yr old daughter's hair for the father-daughter dance at her school. I was refered to Rhona and explained to her that i was a bit nervous since my daughter had never had her hair done (besides by me) before. She was so nice and helpful. She eased my nerves and my daughter's with great conversation and hot chocolate . And we were in and out within 1 1/2 hours from start to finish.
