I feel that the class itself is a gift of so much more than just yoga. Cassie is so kind, gentle, and welcoming. What I enjoy the most though, is her knowledge in the areas of yoga, and the female body - especially in this delicate time. I learn something new in every class and always leave feeling refreshed, calmed, and further educated. I love the way we start most classes introducing ourselves and chatting a bit. All girls in this position have things they'd love to chat about w girls in a similar position, but sometimes need an ice breaker. The changing room was clean and had ample lockers and space. The studio room was on the small size and it was quite packed. I took Core Power Yoga 2 class which was heated so everyone was sweating a lot. There were some men who took their shirts off which made the sweat drip more around their area. They should just leave their shirts on so their sweat can be absorbed into their shirt. The class was wonderful and the instructor was very clear with instructions and I never felt lost. I highly recommend Laura R as the instructor and I definitely would come back to take her class again.

Both CP2 and HPF are consistently hot, sweaty workouts. I appreciate how instructors add their own spin, thoughtful intentions and levity to HPF classes, helping to break up a great repetitive sequence. The creative, varied flows that CP2 instructors come up with are truly impressive. Some of my faves: Chris B, Dan B, Laura R, Amy K, Char G, Alila H... I keep trying new ones and I'm rarely disappointed.

I came about 10 minutes early and the room was almost full, and within 10 minutes a ton of other people came in and we had to move around our mats for everyone to fit comfortably. With that being said, if you're coming with a partner, try to get there earlier than later to insure you'll be able to be next to them. I've never attended this kind of yoga class and it was very beginner friendly. They have all of the equipment you'll need including a mat if you didn't bring one. The instructor was great and it was a very relaxing mind and body experience. It was definitely something I needed after a tough week of workouts to loosen up my body. I left feeling rejuvenated and relaxed and would highly recommend this studio. I'd love to try their other classes.

Update: There's…read morestill a lot to like here, but the studio has kind of been eroding since I last reviewed it two years ago. First the good news: they seem to have repaired what was a deeply unreliable and often broken furnace/humidifier -- I was frustrated by going to "The Hot Room" only to find it "The Warm Room" or even "The Cool Room." That said, the disappointing: the old sense of community at this studio is largely gone -- often feels more like a mid-range gym where you show up, do your workout, and leave. Little amenities that used to be there are now gone without explanation. Inflation? Seems as though there are fewer classes than there once were, but that may be perception rather than reality. I especially miss the "open studio" times that enabled one to come in and "practice one's practice" on one's own schedule. Maybe that was just a covid thing? Regardless, it's something that was once included that is no longer there. There has been a surprising amount of turnover in management, staff, and instructors. Fortunately, the best Inferno Pilates instructor has hung around through this, and the new yoga team is very solid. For the most part, the turnover doesn't necessarily bother me from a practice standpoint, but it does make me wonder why people keep leaving... Finally, there used to be a great end-of-week Friday afternoon 26/2 class -- with music. A fun tradition, and a great way to kick off the weekend. Despite repeated assurances from the owner that it would be reinstated, it hasn't been. Again, schedules and classes change and that's understandable -- it's unkept promises that are concerning. So, it used to rock. It's just ok now...but unless you want a long drive, it's kind of the only game in town. PS -- Their cancellation policy is kind of BS. It's one thing to charge no-shows if a class is full and your no-show keeps someone else out. But with a well-managed wait list (which they have) and classes that usually AREN'T full, charging for cancellations within (what I think is now) 6 hours (used to be 12?) is kind of a lame money grab. Bad karma.

It was really easy to book a class and I thoroughly enjoyed it with Joseph. I downloaded the app and have found it easy to navigate. I love that it keeps your schedule after reserving classes. The things I didn't like are that there are not different levels, and there are no descriptions of the different classes on the app. After my free class they had a promotion for all the classes you can take in two weeks for $59. Without understanding all of the differences or knowing the instructors (some places have profiles on their websites), I booked several classes that worked with my schedule not knowing the differences, and definitely enjoyed two of my three classes so far. I appreciate the kindness of all of the instructors when they realize that someone is new, and the follow-up asking for feedback is nice as well. (I also received text asking how things were going and if I had any questions, yet when I wrote back with a question I never got a response.) A lot of regulars go here, which is encouraging as well. All ages too! I was feeling old but there are quite a few seniors, which made me feel comfortable with being somewhat out of practice. I have enjoyed most of the instructors who encouraged us to go at our own pace and don't single people out or embarrass anyone as some places do. I have come out drenching with sweat but feeling great! I have several classes to go so we'll see if I've found a new yoga home.

While some might assume a studio like this would be exclusive or out of reach, I can confidently say that Luvvli is anything but pretentious or close-minded. Instead, it feels like a space that's open to any kind of person; a place where you can explore, unwind, and reconnect. Most recently, I attended their face yoga class, and it was such a refreshing experience. From the moment I walked in, Jenny made me feel so welcome and at ease. The class began with gentle stretches; slow, restorative movements, untangling little knots of tension. From there, we moved into face yoga: "eye yoga," gua sha, face tapping, and what felt like a soft dance of lymphatic and EFT tapping for the whole body. It was so much more than a skin-care practice. Jenny's attention to detail made everything feel so special. She gave me a lovely little kit for the gua sha portion: a smooth gua sha tool, nourishing oil, a tissue wipe, and a vitamin C eye mask that felt like a cool, refreshing hug for my eyes. It was thoughtful in the kind of way that makes you feel truly cared for, like every part of the experience was designed to nurture you.
