I've been here multiple times. It's always sooo good and it's close to my house. The food is always warm and fresh and the platters are full. I never feel like I'm getting the last piece. Standard cookie cutter Chinese buffet here. Seems like they have the same exact food from a Chinese buffet in the chula vista area. Maybe same owners. Service is ok. Last time here it was a hot day and noticed they did not turn up the AC in here. It was uncomfortable eating. Nice selection of Chinese staple foods. Some American food mixed in. I do like the won ton soup. They had plentiful won tons filled with a good amount of meat. Good place if your craving a buffet in the area. Parking gets crowded during lunch. This place is horrible honestly I have worked there before and it's disgusting at the back of the house . There used to be rats and cockroaches everywhere due to they leave the door open from the kitchen on the back side of the restaurant . It's no worth tipping cause the waitress don't even get the tips the manager keeps them and gives waitress at least 20% each and she stays with the rest . Sometimes they use meat that it already has been expired but they just wash it with soap so the smell can go away . The reason this place hasn't shut down is because they are good friends with the inspector . Every year is the same inspector . I left it's no good place to work . The buffet selection isn't nothing out of this world but that's ok there is variety to select, Well we were eating and I requested a refill of my drinks. the waiter grabbed our glasses a bad attitude witch got my attention i followed the waiter and saw him dropping both glasses on the floor he picked them and grabbing the pice of lemon i had on one of the glasses and putting it back in to my glass after that hi stick both glasses that felt in the dirty floor (in the little place for the busboys) and in to the ice dispenser and he was going to bring those to my table and when I confronted him he pretend he didn't speak English so I ask for the manager and explain what happened the manager seemed careless and keep using the same ice that was contaminated from my on glasses. I have Been in the restaurant business for over 23 years and I know there isn't a 100% safety place to eat (except home) but they should be more careful with this things that is obviously in front of customers, that makes me think what kind of safety procedures in the food preparation they developed in their kitchen. read more

I was hesitant after seeing so many bad reviews and that it was $$, but no lie, I wish and am jealous of the people of San Diego to have such an amazing buffet to go to. So far this is the worst Chinese buffet I have ever attended. Lets start with the welcome hosts, they have the actitud as are you going to get free food at the cost of their salaries. I asked two questions and I knew they the lady did hear me and she just was not in the mood to answer me back with an answer. I understand bad days at work and bad moods and I can live with that but bad food is something else. Me and my family did arrive around 3:25pm to try the dinner menu. They had roasted beef that looks like Mexican birria, meaning that roast beef is not broiled in water and spices. They had also in the menu the most greased shells with imitation crab that the excess of grease was dripping all over the tray. I love won ton sup, but here is discussing sup, first they don't put fresh until is gone; Therefore is all sagging and mush. The fried crab is over salted. On the cold section the eggs were stinking as past due. The salad tasted old. The rest of the stuff looks ok but by the time I did try the mentioned before I just want to get out of there. Restrooms had a weird smell and graffiti everywhere. And finally the price, I was almost ask for my refund but I didn't just because I know that employees need to be paid. But $42 dollars dinner for 2 and a kid is not fare if the food has this quality. For $38 dollars you get better food in others Chinese buffet near by. This is a great place for a afternoon lunch or a evening dinner. Their selection of food was albeit small, but all of it was good. Usually I get sick after eating Chinese food from the excessive grease, but this is the first time I left without a stomach ache or feeling like I'm going to puke. One worker is walking around the food keeping everything in order and uses an intercom to tell the chefs what to be cooking! I gave a 4 star since my only recommendation is a greater selection. I mean it was nothing amazing but the food was alright for the price you're paying. They have the typical Chinese food to fried food like french fries and fried shrimp. The food area was actually kept cleaned and looked appetizing. The servers here were very attentive, they would refill your drink when it's close to empty. They would clear away any dirty plates regularly. Service here was actually good compared to most places. I would recommend this place if you're on a budget or want a quick meal with lots of options.
