I called to ask about the mileage on a vehicle. The guy answered my question. I said, "ok thank you." He then said, "*uck you *itch." And hung up. If I could give zero stars I would. read more

I have had my care a total of 90 days within the first 30-40 days I had to replace something that was 300 and something dollars. I don't drive this car everyday bc I have another car that I use to commute to and from work. I go to turn the car on the day before yesterday to drive it and it's another light on. I took the car back to Elite Auto the first day I was told no light was coming on let it stay another day and call back tomorrow. Called today it's now a censor which is going to cost me 160 something dollars. I purchased the level 2 warranty which apparently does not include anything, I was also told I need to "read my policy" I don't feel within me having this car less then 6 months I should be having all these problems. All that I was told was basically it's a machine and they are going to mess up, my response was if it's a machine and things happen then how about you guys pay for it and fix it. I have purchased a bad car before and it feels like I'm living this all over again. The lady at the front desk is always sweet and understanding. I feel that today they were really rude and unprofessional. Before you purchase a car make sure you take it to a dealership and have someone look at it over for you. I'm a single mom and work 2 jobs to take care of my kids and don't need the extra stress that's coming along with this car! read more

very unprofessional, car was still super dirty when coming for scheduled test drive. When made a point of the cleanliness and other problems during the test drive, we were interrupted and met with attitude, would not even come outside to see how the test drive was. as a current car salesman I know the tricks and had to find our way around the "buy here pay here".. the older lady couldn't even come outside to ask how the drive went so we could go over things we noticed. The car had a bit of a vibration and needed a deep clean with new breaks and rotors. You can tell when someone is more about a dollar than the care of the customer. When trying to explain our experience else where, the older lady interrupted me rudely. She refused to say anything about the cleanliness, but explained the mechanics didn't put a band aid on things, when the rotors needed obvious replacing. read more

I called the Raleigh location to get pricing and details on a vehicle online i wanted to buy. The person who answerd the phone claimed to be a named "George Kastanza". He couldn't give me the price of a car on the lot so I asked for the manager. He claimed to be a one man operation who ran the business. If that's true why wouldnt he tell me the price? Am i in the twilight zone? What's going on here? This business is unprofessional and ridiculous. How do they sell cars? read more

Excellent dealership. I was very satisfied with their treatment and the quality of the cars they carry Their overall honesty of the way they do business was really refreshing. Would definitely recommend anyone to go to them. They have excellent financing options that match most credit unions of course based on credit. Elite Auto Sales - Car Dealers Near Me - Raleigh, North Carolina

My wife and I went to the Raleigh, NC location this past January to buy a 2019 Cadillac XTS. It supposedly came with a 90 day warranty, but little did we know there were underlying problems with the car that they hid from us, even though their so called warranty was vague, until we pointed out the problem with the car. The car vibrated badly on the highway. I had taken the car put for a test drive in town with no problem. The problem became apparent when driving over 70 mph. They put two new rims on the car. It did very little. I live 50 miles from Elite. I took the car to the repair shop near my home. They told me it was the tires, that they were out of round. I called the salesman at Elite named Carl and told him what I had found out. He tried to make it seem like I was lying and it was my fault! He then told me their warranty was for the engine or transmission and only covered the cost up to $1,000. Plus, there was a $100 deductible. The loan officer named Ja, added extra cost items to the contract that we did not request. They gave me a $7,000 trade in on my car, but I wound up paying about the same amount as the actual cost of the car. They inflated the price of a gap and a warranty contract. They even charged an interest rate over 9%, even though my wife had a credit rating over 800. Please be warned that this company is not to be trusted at all. They are very slick with the games they play to get you to buy a car. It seems that all they do is get cars at auction, clean them up and put them on their car lot for sale. If they had really checked this car as they said they do with all their cars, they would have spotted this problem. Maybe they did know about this problem and just did not care. Elite auto sales is not to be trusted. You have been warned! read more

Found this dealership on Facebook Marketplace. I had been searching for a Jeep for some time but was hesitant about the buying process, as this is my first car purchase in over 10 years. So glad I took the time to stop by and check them out! Such a great experience. Seff was extremely knowledgeable, patient , and helpful. Their whole staff seemed very inviting and not even the slightest bit pushy to make a sale. I would recommend this place, hands down. Thanks to the staff of Elite Auto Sales! read more

I do not recommend this used car lot. I accompanied my girlfriend to purchase a car they had and it took 30 minutes for them to get into it and start it. The car was great but the customer service was terrible. After we told them we were interested in buying it they said they would contact us. They never did so we showed up to look at the car and they still didn't put a battery in it. The salesman was terrible he made no effort to sale me the car, he gave us no help on what she needed to give him to purchase the car. Needless to say he couldn't sell a umbrella on a rainy day. After all of that nonsense we ended up with no car and a spooked customer. read more

I was recently in vehicle accident with Bambi that was play a live version of Frogger on I-95. So needless to say I was in need of a replacement vehicle. While I was working my girlfriend and my daughter was looking for vehicle for me. Elite Auto Sales has been nothing but patient, caring, and willing to work with us. From my side of things I was not felt rushed or forced into something to get off their lot. From working with Mr. Chris, and Mr. Edwardo on the phone and they were pretty straight with us and no beating around the bush. Then when I made my final decision, I had the pleasure of working with Mr Nate Dudley in person to close on the purchase of a vehicle. From the time you walk in to this place you could feel a friendly and work as a team environment. Keep this up and Yes, I am a fan and hope to business in the future. read more

Elite Auto Sales - 2016 Chevrolet Cruze LTZ - Car Dealers Near Me - Raleigh, North Carolina

Just purchased a nice CRV from this dealer. In general, this was a pleasant experience. Good customer service, clean location and competitive prices. That said, buyers should be aware that Elite Auto's "complimentary" 3 month/3,000 mile Powertrain warranty caps at $1,000, minus a $100 deductible -- which won't get you very far should the transmission actually fail. This point was not made clear to me until the sale had been closed. I suppose it's a lesson-learned on my end. read more

Really pos sales reps. They sold a truck out from under us after they ran a hard inquiry on my credit! No calls or text back after they ran my credit. Nothing. Waste of breath people do not recommend Ruby. I would not have let them run my credit at all of I knew they were like this! But don't worry I will bash you everywhere! read more

Daniel, Patrick, and Brian at Elite Auto Sales were courteous, professional, and helpful. In January 2018, I first went in to look at a Honda CR-V which had a few more miles and was a little out of my price range. I was able to test drive as many cars as I wanted and Daniel answered all the questions I had. Once I decided on a vehicle, and had an independent mechanic come to look at it, there were a few minor things, like cleaning the air filter and checking the oil pan, that the on-site mechanics took care of for me before I drove off the lot. Brian worked with several lenders to get me a good deal on financing. And Patrick had me come back in to have a new fog light assembly installed and reset my passenger airbag sensor, about a week after I had driven off the lot. They don't really negotiate much from the listed price, but I felt I was getting a quality vehicle at a fair price. I would definitely consider buying another car from them. read more

Seff was the absolute best! We literally drove two hours to the Raleigh area to look at some trucks we found online, with no luck we were headed out of town and passed by this place... The cars looked very clean, the lot was clean and it looked friendly and welcoming so we decided we would stop and see what they had... They didn't bombard us on the lot like sharks and all the staff were like old friends as soon as we walked in the door. We talked about football and joked about life and they weren't pushing us to buy! The best part was that I had worked all night with no sleep and Seff gave me an energy drink from his personal stash without even thinking twice! That said a lot to me about his character, he's a great guy. Thanks to all the staff of Elite for making us feel like family. We are very happy with our GMC Sierra purchase and we buy again we will definitely be seeing you guys! read more

Greg and patrick were very friendly and honest. They did not pressure me to buy a car rather let me walk around and choose the cars I wanted to test drive. I got a good deal on a Toyota with only one owner and traded-in my corolla for what i wanted. Once i made my decision i was in and out in no time. Very good experience I definitely recommend this dealership in the triangle. read more

This place is sketchy and ripped me and my husband off. We bought a truck and literally less then a week of us having it we noticed issues. We took it back to Elite Auto sales multiple times to get it fixed. Each time we got it back from them they swore they fixed it and gave us no receipts of the work they claimed to have done. We finally ended up taking it to a Chevy dealership to have it diagnosed and they said it was broken and that elite autos didn't do anything that they claimed to have done. When we told them what they did was illegal they offered us a different truck to trade for plus $800 more they wanted. We took that new truck to get diagnosed and they said the issues with that one would cost $900 to fix when we told Chris Mathews how much it would cost he "said I can fix it for $50" . Which is the same thing he said about the last truck. In the end we ended up with no vehicle from them and in the hole about $800. Do not waste your time at that shady place. P.s We spoke with an old maintenance employee who used to work there and they told us that Elite Autos doesn't even have the necessary tools to fix the issues with the truck that we had. read more

Very good selection of used cars, especially if you're looking under $5000. No pressure sales. Liked driving the car without a salesperson tagging along. Haggling was strongly resisted, but did have a minor result. Patrick and his partner had no problem tag-teaming to handle our needs so we never had to wait; they obviously have a great working relationship. Keep in mind that this is a cash-only dealership, so having cash-on-hand is not a bargaining chip. Price out-the-door was given up front and there are no doc fees (saving us several hundred dollars over a comparable dealership). read more

The guys working at Elite Auto Sales are awesome! We searched all over Raleigh for the perfect car 1st car for my daughter. We found Elite's prices to very competitive. No pressure sales & very friendly staff. They were very responsive to resolve an issue we had with the car we wanted. There were some side scratches that they were able to buff out. The car was in great shape & they made sure we had plenty of gas. They have lenders that they work with, but I'd recommend getting a pre-approval from your personal bank before shopping for a car from anywhere. They encouraged us to take our time on the test drive & did not pressure us at all. We also loved that it's a pet friendly car lot. It's not the best location if you live in N. Raleigh like we do, but it was well worth the drive. My daughter is 100% satisfied with her new car! Thanks Pat!! read more

dont buy a car from them, they will ended up and drop the ball with the paperwork to transfer tags from one car to the new one and still make you sign the paperwork even though you were told that it's for transferring the tags. And then when you go to renew the tags you will have a fine from the DMV you will have to pay. then called to get my money back from them and was hung up on twice. read more

WATCH OUT: Though this appears a small town car place, I was disappointed in their customer service. I was treated like a silly woman who couldn't make up her mind, who didn't understand the way the car sales business works. They were unwilling to work a decent trade in (to a car they SOLD me), and claimed "reprocessing fees" and other terms that seemed an excuse for them just to charge me more money. Don't expect them to be logical with you as a customer; they just want your money. UPDATE: After leaving my review, I was called by the owner and threatened to be sued for slander. I was told I was "young and naive" and treated with even more disrespect and rudeness. read more

A week ago my car died on me due to transmission problems. Did some research of my own on dealerships and none of them caught my eye until I came across this place! I couldn't believe how many affordable reliable cars they had with low miles. I mean really low mileage! I woke up at 7am this morning to make sure I was the first one at this dealership. As soon as I pulled up I was greeted by Greg. He didn't pressure me into any particular cars and allowed me to look around. After test driving a car I really loved he walked me through everything. They even have great warranties! Greg is awesome and has been with the dealership for 17 years!!! Thanks Greg for a wonderful experience!! read more

We saw a Cadillac Escalade online on Friday and called asap. On Saturday we stopped in and spoke with Steve who in in charge of the online sales and he was really helpful. We are from Cincinnati and were heading to Myrtle Beach on vacation. He said they had just gotten the car and not yet detailed the truck but it should be ready to look at in a few days. He was in constant communication with us. We were really interested in the truck, it was in great shape, with low miles and a great price. Since we are from out of town and had limited time and were so interested he promised us we would have first dibs. On Thursday on our way back from vacation we bought it!! It was nice that he kept his word. That is hard to come by now a days. read more

I would not buy from them again. They sold me wrecked car and denied it had been wrecked even though the OE dealer showed me were it was wrecked and airbags deployed. They gave me the run around for trying to get them to fix some of the issues. I'll never buy from them or Greg again. I see now why they have such great deals. read more

This was my first time buying a car on my own and I was so scared. I found this dealership online, and thought that the no pressure approach sounded perfect. It was great. When you drive into the lot, there aren't the typical vulture sales people waiting for you. Someone greeted us immediately, but then let us look. When I did a test drive, the sales people didn't come with me, which was nice because I could really focus without someone trying to sell me something. When we got back the car I drove didn't feel like the one, Seff (who is great !) suggested a few other options for me (and really payed attention to my budget), and we found me a car that I never thought I would love. We went through the rest of the car buying process smoothly. Daniel in finance was also great and kept me calm, despite my anxiety about the whole process. I can't say enough good about this place. Thank you so much guys!!!!! read more

I wanted an affordable car so I went to Elite. Best prices in town. Process was easy, they let you test drive anything, by yourself. No pressure to buy, just nice people. I was helped by Patrick. If you do buy a car, the process took less than 15 minutes. Awesome Now my vehicle is not the best, cracked windshield, check engine light on, etc. But I knew I was buying an affordable used car. I would recommend Elite to a friend if they needed a low price on a vehicle. read more

My experience was a little sketchy. The deals were great, but the salespeople were not willing to work with you on what's wrong with the car. ie scratches, broken buttons (like the mirror adjustments.), Blown speakers, etc. Prices didn't seem negotiable, but they were very low-pressure. Salesman told me to take his card, and think over the car. Could have been a better experience, but they weren't too determined to make a sale. read more

We bought a car from this dealership and within 30 days, prior to our first car payment three brake lights came on. Apparently the anti lock brake system module went up. Seems suspicious! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I just graduated college and started my career and I was looking to get a slightly newer vehicle all paid for with no payments involved to replace my beat up car. I liked a a car on their lot. To my untrained eye it looked very doable for 3500 but there were a few issues. They wouldn't budge on the price at all despite these issues except to trade in my car which they gave me 400 for and the entire time telling me how much of a piece of crap it was and how they knew it was such a good deal for the car in question. Less than a month later the check engine light came on, it started leaking oil. Finally I took it to a friend who is a mechanic and on the way I broke down. I had it towed to the shop and found later that the cam sprocket bolt had broke clean off and I had no compression in my cylinders. I don't know what the heck that means but my engine was dead. THEN, I got a bill in the mail for vehicle tax on the del sol I had traded in and when I went to tell the DMV to tell them there was a mistake they told me the plates were never turned in. When I called elite back they gave me an attitude and were extremely defensive accusing me of driving it too much... The second time the owner called back and despite my apologize for my frustration during the 1st phone call there were no apologies offered in return. I felt taken advantage of and insulted. They have offered nothing but to sign a paper saying that they swear they turned my plates in... I was Speechless... Do yourself a favor.. Don't do business with these guys. They are really nice until you drive away. They handled my concerns with no sense of urgency or care for their businesses reputation, even dropping the line "we still have that piece of s**t back here." The best I got was the owner in a monotoned voice saying "we'd be glad to sign a paper saying we turned your plates in" and that.. Unfortunately... Was the highlight of my experience with elite auto.. read more

So I was in desperate need of a car due to a car accident and I went here and found a car I liked. First off the sun roof didn't work and they said it was broken, but that wasn't so important to me at the time. I just found out it will cost over $2000 to fix it. On the test drive the stereo went out but was still on. They said they would take care of it and actually replaced the stereo. Well it never really sounded right after they fixed it and I told them so a couple times and was dismissed. So I took it to an auto stereo place and when they pulled the system apart the facing for the stereo was hot glued to the deck and 30 wires going from the amp to speakers were cut. I spent over $300 fixing what I had been told was fixed. Now was car sounds brand new. 3 days after I bought it the car broke down on the side of the road. I paid the towing bill and Elite took the car back and 'fixed' the problem, I later find out after a 3rd party mechanic looked at my car that the "repair" was only a band aid fix and would have broke again in the next year. After that I was test driving it to make sure the repairs held up and the air compressor locked up, they replaced that no problems since. 2 months later I'm changing the brakes and find that a coil spring broken and have a 3rd party mechanic look at it and he confirmed that it was an old break and I didn't cause it. Well I had to fight tooth and nail for it to be fixed at Elite but they did take care of it. Now my car key (they only had the valet key to give me for the car so I can't even get in the trunk with it) wont lock or unlock my doors. Plus there are other things I'm looking at having to replace now too. Moral of the story: You pay for what you get.... this car is costing me almost 3/4 of what I paid in repairs. read more

After searching for a week for exactly what I wanted, I thought I had found it at a different dealership, but when I got there, it was exactly what I didn't want. So, after a bit more searching, I found Elite Auto Sales and they had the car I wanted at an awesome price. They stayed later than their hours (2 hours later) so that I could check out the car, test drive, ask questions, and eventually buy it. The car was a great price and the salesman and owner were wonderful to work with. I would recommend them to everyone and would definitely buy another vehicle from them again! read more

TERRIBLE Service and Terrible value. We only had a certain amount of cash to purchase with so we only had about 2 options. We went with a 2006 Focus. First thing driving it I noticed it needed new brakes and rotors. They did change those for me but the problems didnt stop there. The salesguy had zero personality and would not drop the price by $200 for the dents and scratches. I settled and bought it because we were in a hard spot. Since then the ABS System has malfunctioned, the airbags light was turned off by their mechanics and DO NOT WORK! Now the power steering pump has gone out. The mechanic that is now working with us, says that the previous mechanic (ELITE AUTO) has glued and taped hoses and parts to hide problems. A little sketchy, but they do have some really good deals. I asked to test drive a vehicle and the salesman basically just handed me the keys and told me to go for it. It was nice being able to drive it around and focus on how it was running rather than having a salesman trying to point stuff out as you're driving. They are also low-pressure, they won't try to get your phone number and talk you into coming back if you don't buy a vehicle right away. However, I pointed out a couple of issues with the car I was looking at (lots of dents/scratches, undercarriage rust, low tire tread) and the guy got mad and told me I was wrong and didn't know what I was talking about. I had cash with me and was willing to buy the vehicle if he would work with me on price, but he said no way. So, take things at face value here and don't expect great service, but you can get a pretty good deal if you know what you want. Worth checking out the inventory at least. read more

I had a bad experience here. The car I bought (2002 Honda Civic) had a major fault that was buried deep: someone (probably them but I'm willing to be wrong) had previously done a quick and dirty repair on the cylinder head to get it off the lot. Just as the 90 day period expired, I experienced overheating problems that were eventually traced back to a bad cylinder head. I lifted the head out myself and took it to a machine shop, where they showed me that an incorrect size freeze plug had previously been installed. Of course it did not hold, so I was out $400 in parts and machining, plus 5 days of my time to take the head off the engine and put it back. The car now runs fine but I had to make a huge effort (plus $400) to get it that way. I understand that the car was purchased "as is", but I feel like I was duped, or they were duped by whoever they bought it from, or we both were. I chalk it up to experience but I do feel like this problem arose in their shop as they got it ready for a quick sale. read more
