I don't drive this car everyday bc I have another car that I use to commute to and from work. I go to turn the car on the day before yesterday to drive it and it's another light on. I took the car back to Elite Auto the first day I was told no light was coming on let it stay another day and call back tomorrow. Called today it's now a censor which is going to cost me 160 something dollars. I purchased the level 2 warranty which apparently does not include anything, I was also told I need to "read my policy" I don't feel within me having this car less then 6 months I should be having all these problems. All that I was told was basically it's a machine and they are going to mess up, my response was if it's a machine and things happen then how about you guys pay for it and fix it. I have purchased a bad car before and it feels like I'm living this all over again. The lady at the front desk is always sweet and understanding. I feel that today they were really rude and unprofessional. Before you purchase a car make sure you take it to a dealership and have someone look at it over for you. I'm a single mom and work 2 jobs to take care of my kids and don't need the extra stress that's coming along with this car!

He was very knowledgeable & confident yet not pushy at all. I felt comfortable buying a car from him and would absolutely recommend him to my family & friends. I usually dread going to a dealership for a new car because of past negative experiences (at other area & out of state dealerships). Capital CJD in Garner isn't the closest to my house or work (I live in Durham), However, my experience here was fantastic and absolutely worth the drive. I recently bought the 2014 Jeep Cherokee Latitude from CJD & recommend Harry Dew to anyone that is looking for a new car. Also, I am sure I will be purchasing all of my future cars from him! Thanks Harry for making the buying process SO easy! I love my new Cherokee!

The salesperson that assisted me was incredibly boorish and did a very poor job with the sales process, as well as not emphasizing the value proposition of a Jeep versus the competition. This person's performance not only convinced me to purchase my vehicle from someone else, but also to purchase a Ford. The only reason I'm giving a two-star review is because I eventually got to take a vehicle on a test drive. For the life of me I do not understand why the showroom features a used Mercedes Benz G class instead of a Jeep product. Jeep's flagship vehicle, the Grand Wagoneer, was stuck in the back of the showroom instead of being the vehicle you see front and center when you walk in the door.

Reliable Car & Trucks... not as reliable as they state to be…read more Lets begin with my initial experience where I was profiled based on how old I look and how I was dressed which ultimately nowadays seems to determine your net worth. If your curious continue to read about my experience. So here's why they earned them a beautiful One Star. First appearance the place seems a bit run down due to its location & upkeep. But thats besides the point. Upon me pulling up to this place of business I noticed the specific vehicle that I traveled 30 minutes to have a look at. Before purchasing a car who wouldn't evaluate the vehicle and test drive it to make a determination before beginning any financial agreements; because what if I don't like the vehicle after test driving it ? Stay with me it gets better. After I scanned the outside if the said vehicle I was not once approached by Sam nor Eric but, I noticed they were watching me examine the vehicle. Originally I though the car was SOLD because it had no paperwork being shown. ( Turned out Eric is daily driving it ). So after I couldn't see visible paperwork and I wasn't greeted, I decided to leave. But WAIT! Why leave and I drove so far to see this car and determine if this is what I want. Well this is where things took a turn for the worst. Before leaving I decided to enter their place of business and ask a few questions regarding the vehicle. After a few minutes of discussion regarding the vehicle I quickly learned that my knowledge of this vehicle was sharper then theirs. Sam even attempted to tell me wrong information about how much horsepower the car made haha But let me get to the point. So after this conversation I asked can I take the vehicle for a test drive. Immediately the look on both Sam and Eric's face changed. They begin to express to me how I didn't look as if I had the money to test drive the vehicle and if I did how would I even be paying. In shock at this point I expressed how I would be paying and they still proceeded to tell me that because of my age (21 which they didn't know until I told them) & Eric not feeling comfortable trusting me to drive the vehicle that I would have to begin financial paperwork just to test drive a car that I don't even know if I want yet. Im not sure where they got their dealers license from but this is not a place I would recommend to anyone looking for knowledgeable and respectful support in finding your dream car! I hope no-one else has to experience such profiling while trying to locate a vehicle.

I guess the old sayings of "Don't judge a book by its cover", "buyer beware" and "inspect don't…read moreexpect" holds true. 3 weeks ago I bought a 2000 Ford Ranger from Reliable. The truck looked good on the outside and inside for its age. They purchased the truck at an auction on 3/18/19 with 208000miles. They had it "inspected" on 3/25/19 with 200872 miles. It "Passed"' everything that is required by NC. The truck stayed on the lot until I purchased it on 5/11/19 with 200899 miles. I noticed there was a noise coming from the front end. I brought the truck to a reputable mechanic who found that the ball joints on both sides were completely worn out. There actually was no rubber ball at all. Also, the control arms were broken. All of it had to be replaced. When I purchased it, I was told by Eric, the salesperson, that the car was checked by a mechanic and that all that was wrong was the serpentine belt, which he said they replaced. Now, I know that the truck has no warranty, but I took Eric's word as the truck being in good condition. The ball joints and broken control arms did not happen in the 2 weeks that I have owned the truck. They had worn out over time. It is hard for me to believe that the mechanic or the person doing the inspection did not see such a problem with the suspension. Especially, the person performing the inspection. NC law requires that any vehicle that is inspected has to be raised and the front end suspension has to be visually checked. Failure to do so may lead to a fine. I spoke to Eric about the problem and the first thing I was told was that there was no warranty. Then I was told that I did not pay the full price they were asking for it. His response is totally irrelevant. The price was negotiated just as one would do with a new or used car. Plus, I paid more then both the KBB and Nadaguide said that one should pay for this vehicle. I know that I probably should have had it checked out beforehand, but I didn't. I actually thought that Eric was a professional and was being honest. Long story short, I am out an additional $500.00. When I told Eric this, all he could say was if I had called him, he could have probably gotten it done cheaper for me. He also said if anything arises in the future to call him. The day I purchased the truck I noticed that the spare tire was missing. I did call Eric immediately, he said he would look for one and get back to me. I am still waiting to hear back from him on the tire. Today, I got a call from Eric and was told that he couldn't get plates because where he had the truck inspected put in the wrong VIN number. He wanted me to drive there (almost an hour) and have it re-inspected, I was not going to do that . So he arranged to have it inspected at a franchised tire store near my house. I took it there and had to wait 2 hours for it to be done. I guess my time is not as valuable as Eric's. Like I said, there is no warranty, but after finding out that there was a problem with the suspension, Eric offered no restitution in any way. If you are considering buying from Reliable, go have the car/truck checked out thoroughly before negotiating a deal and be leery of the positive feedback and ratings on social media. Unfortunately, I learned an expensive lesson. Sales people are just that, sales people. No remorse for not being 100% truthful.
