HUGE SCAM! Do not use this company. I was completely harassed by the technician, Eli. He kept telling me I had to pay $1500+ to repair air ducts. When I told him that was not something I could do today, he did not take no for an answer and kept "calling his boss" to get a discount. He even made up that I get a Costco membership discount of 22%? but he would not put anything in writing, he was just typing numbers into his calculator app on his phone. VERY SKETCHY and I did not feel comfortable at all with this company in my home. I ended up paying the $199 price that was advertised in the ad and they did not even do anything. We then called the company to complain and the "manager" did not even seem concerned about my experience. Elite air did a great job installing my new AC and heating system. I waited a year to place this review, which is my practice, cause I want to make sure that I go through all the seasons and see if there are any issues. The system works great and I had a very pleasant summer, and I'm so grateful with the new system now that it's winter. Roy was very responsive and helpful during the process and even helped out with some questions after installation. The system works great, And I've actually noticed my bill go down a little bit as a result of a more efficient system. The removal process was fast and they left the workspace clean. Additionally I got to see the install sometime later in the attic, and it was top notch. Ventilation was really well installed with respect to the surroundings. Just an all-around great job. One thing to research when doing new systems is the sound variable. Quieter systems cost a little bit more but are worth it if that is some thing you were looking for. I left a message for Elite Air on Thursday afternoon, and he called me yesterday - Friday. I explained my situation - me being an air conditioning expert that I am (NOT!!!), I thought the compressor had gone, and I was going to be stuck with no air over the weekend and moving forward. Roy told me he would come by this morning before his rounds officially started, as I apparently lived close to his offices. He was at my place, spot on time, and had already headed up onto the roof to check it out. He was up there for 10-15 minutes maybe, and came down to show me which piece of my AC unit had burned out, and that it was an easy fix. He sorted it out in about 35 minutes, then asked to check out my furnace; told me he was going to replace the filter as he was here already and that he had better filters than I did - which he did (mine don't fit properly). He was respectful, never tried to overcharge me, didn't jump on my fear of having to replace my AC unit, and was back in his car about 45 minutes after he got here. No issues at all; a very nice man; and the fact that he didn't try to upsell me, simply because I had no idea what the issue was and feared the worst. I wish more companies worked the way he does. These guys are competent and honest and saved me over 5k! My AC unit kept turning on and off. I put bid requests out on yelp and the first person to respond came and looked at my unit and told me I had a leak in the compressor and that the entire unit had to be replaced. I started gathering multiple bids. Roy came out and took a look. I had told him what the previous assessment was. He tested the unit and did not see a leak in the compressor unit. He was available the same day and his service fee for the hour was reasonable. I called another company to see what their fee was and it was 50% higher, that's including their 30% discount. Ok so I start messaging Roy again and he responds promptly every time. I could tell he was going to be very fair and honest with me. So of course I make an appointment for the afternoon. He was on time and very prompt with his communication. During the visit he hit me with the fee for how much it would be to recharge the AC unit. At first I was surprised, but I remembered that up until that point he had been fair and honest with me. So I trusted that this was no exception. I went ahead and bit the bullet. Looking online I found his quote to be more than fair and was super relieved. I'm a Telephone service technician by trade and I know who has customer service skills. So impressed with Roy and his team at Elite Air. At the beginning of the summer I discovered I had a leak somewhere in refrigerant line between compressor outside and condenser on roof. Repair required moving compressor onto roof and reconnecting to condenser. A lot of companies weren't even interested in bidding for the job. Elite Air came out right away, made a very fair bid. He and his team came out a few days later after I had suggested electrical work done to prep for Roy's work. They were highly professional, brought in a crane, did excellent work and left no mess behind. A few days ago, the AC stopped working. I called Roy and left a message explaining the situation: could be Nest thermostat, wiring, AC unit. He called me back within 10 minutes, remembered I vaguely knew electrical stuff from college and walked me through potential solutions, including looking a couple of photos I sent him while troubleshooting. With his guidance I was able to fix the issue (which btw had nothing to do with his original repair) and get the unit up and running before the resent heat wave. Amazing service! (This is an honest and fair review of Elite Air based on my experience over the last year and a half.) I had hired Roy to install central air into our house. From my initial experience, Roy was responsive and did the work quickly and efficiently. We had several persistent urgent problems early on and Roy responded quickly to fix them. At one point, we had over a 5 gallon painters bucket worth of water gush out through the register into our newly renovated living room. He admitted these problems weren't normal so did what was needed to fix them and even threw in a couple freebies. However, the one thing that has remained constant is that our A/C just hasn't been functioning properly and not cooling the house. During heat waves, it's the worst condition as it's near 90s inside the house. It is so hot, that the candles have all melted down to shape and the clear earthquake putty on items around the house have melted down to little puddles. I've called him a couple times to let him know about this issue and he has looked over the system, usually diagnoses a coolant leak, replenishes the Freon and says it's working fine. It might be worth noting that never once did I see him take out a temperature probe to check the temperature differential to actually check if the system was working properly (something I learned about recently). Another problem we have is that one side of the house with our bedroom and nursery doesn't heat/cool anywhere near the same as the rest of our house. The temperature difference is stark. In either case, I wanted to make sure we didn't continue to have an issue since I was due soon with a baby and he assured me the problem was fixed. Then last summer, we got hit with a heat wave and it was horrendous. A/C wasn't working again and it went up to 88 degrees inside the house. Having a newborn made it a stressful and worrisome situation and of course with the pandemic just fresh, it wasn't wise at that point to call Roy. However, I knew that we couldn't go through another heat wave so I waited until the fall/winter to give him a call (as he told me this is always the most flexible/least busy time for him). I texted him and he told me he just had back surgery so wasn't available. I asked when a good time would be to reach out, but he never responded. In either case, completely understood, I can reach out later. So, a month and a half ago (over 5 months after I had last reached out), I called him as I figured this is probably a decent amount of time for recovery. Over a few day period, I left one or two voicemails and left text messages to follow up with no response. I wasn't sure if he was up and running again due to back surgery so asked in the questions above if the business is opened and he responded immediately. So, I can only assume he must be ignoring me? Over the weekend, it was fairly hot and the A/C kicked on, but it was just getting warmer and warmer in the house. I checked the temperature differential and the temp at the supply and return was exactly the same. Clearly, it isn't working, and I got a notice via Google home of a system failure. This morning (Monday), I called, then texted him and he finally responded. He said that after his back surgery, he no longer does services anymore. Then stated that since my install has been over a year ago, he cannot help me and that he cannot do services anymore, that he cannot work and doesn't have technicians that do the job. I told him that I would be happy to pay him to fix it and he says, 'I'm sorry I cannot help you for no amount money you pay me... You need to call somebody else.' I think as a homeowner, when you are paying thousands of dollars for a service, you are expecting the unit to be reliable and functional, for starters, but you also expect to be able to reach out to the business in the future, should anything go wrong for help/service. I don't know if I fully believe that he is unable to work and he might just be dodging responsibility. After all, he did respond to the question above that the business is open. I understand that the pandemic has brought a lot of new business due to an increase in home renovations, so maybe he's just more eager to take on money-making business than mine. I took Roy as a man of integrity who would follow through with his work but turns out that is not the case and this behavior is unexpected and disappointing. At this point, I fully regret hiring Elite Air and Roy for the HVAC work on our house. I just wanted to have a safe environment for my baby and imagined Roy would get this having 3 children of his own. I would recommend that anyone who is looking for a HVAC specialist to take their business elsewhere... to an honest company that will do a great job from the beginning. If Roy is in fact unable to work due to his back, I fully empathize with him and hope for better days ahead. However, if this isn't the case, shame on you for leaving a paying customer in the dust. read more

Working with these guys was more breezier than my brand new air-conditioning unit LOL all cheesy jokes aside they did an amazing job replacing my entire system. Even though my heater was in the attic they damaged nothing in the process they were extremely clean and professional and was in and out within a few hours and I asked several companies for quotes they had the best price by far highly recommend them. Initially, I thought this company provided good service back in June 2018, when they replaced the compressor and the TXV valve for my A/C unit. Two years later that valve broke, which happens -- can't blame them for the faulty part. I invited a different technician to examine my unit. The new technician said that this company (Elite Air) had used a universal TXV valve instead of the factory-required valve. In order to use that universal TXV, Elite Air had modified the original setup of my unit, which made it much more difficult to repair. Elite Air did not take the effort to do things right. My tenant said her central air is not cooling. I contacted 6 highest rating hvac technician in the valley area on Yelp for a first visit quote / diagnosis. They were all ranging from 55-79. Only elite air doesn't charge for that. I immediately contacted them for an appointment. Roy showed up on time and gave me a fair quote. The next day his team went to finish the job. It was fast and easy. The thing I don't like about paying for first visit is that you are pretty much stuck to that technician once they are here regardless of the quality of their service especially when the job is not big. As I'm not a professional in this field, I would very much like to hear a second opinion or at least research about the technician's diagnosis before going ahead with a job. In the future when I have other hvac need, I'll definitely go back to them because they are honest. read more
