MOZAIC ART HAS GRACED WALLS SINCE ANCIENT TIMES If "ELIT TILE" had been founded these masters might have decorated Cleopatra's boudoir or Michelangelo's chapel. Jinah Kim is like an art museum curator. Her store, like the Louvre has artisan tiles from around the world, Jinah, and her team, have encyclopedic knowledge of the origins, materials, characteristics and best applications. I was not looking to decorate a chapel but just to find the tiles used in my Brentwood condo to do some remodeling. I was lucky to ask a question and she indulged me by showing me the best tiles and finishes for my job. Smart and creative as an artist herself, Jinah estimated my sq ft and sold me a perfect match for my existing deco and design. It was only when I went to leave that I learned she is the General Manager. WETHER YOU ARE BUILDING A PALACE OR A MONASTERY "ELIT TILE" has what you need (IN STOCK!) read more

Elit Tile's return policy is meaningless if they can simply invent new restrictions after taking your money. My experience with Elit Tile began with them failing to deliver the order I paid for. I purchased 8 pieces of tile, but their vendor only shipped 6 pieces. I had to discover their mistake myself. Had I not counted the order, I would have left with an incomplete purchase. Later, they actually tried to use the cost of correcting their own shipping mistake as a reason to deny my return. After bringing the completed order home, I realized the tile did not match my existing flooring. I immediately contacted Joy Lee and requested a return while the tile was completely unused. Here's the problem: at no point before my purchase did Joy Lee tell me that returns supposedly depended on vendor approval or that orders under four boxes could not be returned. That alleged restriction was never disclosed in the store and does not appear anywhere in my sales paperwork. Only after I requested a return did Joy Lee suddenly claim that the vendor would not approve it because the order was under four boxes. That completely defeats the purpose of having a return policy. If customers are never told about these restrictions until after they pay, then they don't have the information necessary to make an informed purchasing decision. Instead of standing behind what was represented at the time of sale, Elit Tile relied on an undisclosed vendor policy that was never communicated beforehand and refused to accept responsibility. My tile was unused, my return request was made promptly, and yet I was simply told the matter was "closed." If you're considering purchasing from Elit Tile, ask for every return restriction in writing before you hand over your credit card. Otherwise, you may discover after the sale that the return policy you thought you had doesn't actually apply. read more

Elit Tile has a huge selection from a number of well-known suppliers, and the prices seem very competitive. The showroom itself is somewhat chaotically laid out, however, with so much to look at that it can quickly become overwhelming. It also seems geared primarily toward professionals or homeowners shopping with their designer. The staff are mostly there to answer basic questions and tally up your purchase, rather than guide you through the design process. Still, if you know what you are looking for and are willing to sort through everything, there are plenty of good options and some excellent values. read more

Great experience at Elit Tile. I always start there when looking for a new tile project! Tiles are usually in stock or come quickly and we have had no issues. Thanks! read more

I am writing to express my absolute appreciation for what Elit Tile has to offer both in products and in services! I walked into this showroom by chance while driving to Lowe's across the street from it. I was shopping around for tiles, travertine and accent tiles and more, mostly in North Hollywood tile shops and once I saw Elit's sign, I decided to walk in and see what I can find. I was shocked and pleasantly surprised by 1) the variety of tiles that they offered, including travertine chair rails that I was looking for, and 2) the service I was provided by this amazing salesperson, Edward Chung! I can summarize his qualities as patient, knowledgeable, professional, tasteful, pleasant, and an absolute joy to work with! I hope the management and owners of Elite recognize the immense value Edward brings to their business! I have become a fan and have been purchasing tiles from them for my ongoing home remodeling, and all will never go to another tile shop given Elit's amazing products, service, and very competitive prices! No more North Hollywood for me! read more

I ordered marble mosaic and was given two different batches that did not match. I went back to the store to exchange the batch that was wrong and stood there waiting as apparently no one besides your sales person can help or make a phone call to the vendor. Later, my salesperson said the vendor required a piece of the batch that had been installed already, so that was not possible. No further help was available from Elit Tile or their vendor. Thanks Elit for making me run around town looking for correct product due to your mistake. This is the second time this has happened, but it will be the last time for me. read more

I never stepped foot in this store but had fantastic service from Edward. I'll explain.... We are remodeling our bathroom. Me and my husband were on the hunt for the "white octagon with black dot" floor. We searched and searched and came up empty handed. Eventually my husband found it online at this place. He wanted me to call and confirm that they did indeed have it before driving to Los Angeles from Long Beach. We were in luck, they DID have it!! We wanted to see/feel a sample of it before buying a bunch of it. Edward told me they have a sister company in Anaheim (see last review) that I could pick it up at instead of going all the way to LA, which was great. He was quick to set everything up and I was good to go to pick up the sample right away. We LOVED it! We were then looking for a 2x2 black square for our shower floor. We got a sample elsewhere of a matte finish as well as a shiny finish, we were leaning towards the shiny so I asked Edward if they had it so we didn't have to go to multiple tile places; they had one too! Although the photo I included says "matte" Edward told me it was more of a satin, which is in between matte and shiny. He arranged for a sample pick up of this one too. We LOVED it as well. Both tiles FEEL so nice. They seem very high quality too. We got a reasonable price on both. I can't wait to see the finished project. I can post "after" photos when all is said and done. If you want a good project and great service I recommend checking this place (website) out. read more

Second time purchasing tiles from Elit. Vast selection of tiles, fast delivery and Edward was great to deal with.

Highly recommend this tile shop! I had an excellent experience with Edward. I needed tile for 4 bathrooms and 2 kitchens and my head was spinning. Edward understood my vision and educated me on different types of tile. He was so patient and his suggestions were spot on. He was super responsive to all my questions in person, via text and email. It was a big order, so there were changes along the way and he was happy to accomadate. We even met at the store with our tile installer and he helped get us all on the same page. I went in not knowing much about tile and he walked me through the whole process. AND the prices are excellent. I had briefly looked at another shop and Elit Tile beat their prices. read more

Choosing tiles for my bathroom renovation went very smoothly thanks to Edward. Based on my photo reference he was very helpful in bringing the closest option. In addition to that there's a lot of variety here while also being design forward and tasteful. read more

We had an outstanding experience working with Karen B. at Elit Tile. On a Saturday, we spent several hours with her exploring bathroom tile options--and even as we changed directions multiple times, she remained incredibly patient, attentive, and helpful throughout the entire process. Karen consistently went above and beyond, presenting new ideas, pulling samples, and quickly bringing up catalog photos for every direction we considered. Our project feels overwhelming but she made it feel manageable and even enjoyable. We've since gone back for additional samples to test at our construction site, and each time she has been just as responsive and accommodating. Her turnaround on quotes--and updates as our plans evolved--was always prompt and professional. We truly cannot recommend Karen and Elit Tile highly enough. Working with her made a huge difference in our project, and we're grateful for her expertise and dedication. read more

Great selection, terrible customer service. It's a great place to look for the tiles you are interested in, but their customer service makes you want to buy elsewhere,, which is what I did. I've never been i that type of business and been so blatantly ignored. This happened to me on two separate visits where all the associates were sitting at their desks, not helping anyone else but could not be bothered to even look up to acknowledge me. Even the big box stores like Home Depot and Floor & Decor have sales associates that are more helpful. read more

I'm very disappointed with my experience. I ordered a sample after seeing it in a store and really liking its look, but the piece I received was completely different -- the color, texture, and overall appearance had nothing to do with what was shown online or in the showroom. The sample was clearly defective and in poor condition. When I contacted the company, the response was dismissive and unhelpful. They simply said they "cannot control how the tile looks" and refused to offer any replacement or refund. Very poor customer service and a disappointing experience. I wouldn't recommend ordering samples from them. read more
