If there was a 10 star rating It would still not be enough! These guys are A W E S O M E! From the moment you walk in to their place of business it's like you are traveling back in time to a simple time when a business was run by a family and YOU were treated like family! The first time I visited the business I had the incredible privilege of meeting the man himself! The founder of the company. What a huge honor and pleasant surprise to hear some of his origin stories. What a true pioneer and visionary, not only for his skills but for his "style". A very friendly, giving, and kind individual who still visits his family owned business even though he no longer needs to. The business is being run by his family so his legacy lives on. And I for one hope it lives on forever. Robert his son seems to be as "polished" as his father and even Roberts son seems to be a "special" young man. And there are certainly other gems in this business: Chris, Danny, and a few others who's names I don't YET. In summary (I could go on forever about this business). USE ELIO'S for anything you need. My car does not have a flip key, but I wanted one. So, I bought 2 aftermarket flip keys with remote for my car from a seller on Amazon. Got them cut from a locksmith nearby, only to realize it wont turn to On. The locksmith near me did not have spare blades for a flip key. Walked into Elio's at 10:45am with the flip keys and asked Robert if he had spare blades. He checked the keys, and said the flips keys are not working as they are not the right thickness. He then told me he doesn't have flip key blades (as my car never came with a flip key), but he would improvise a blank key and make turn them into flip key blades for me. I was impressed, this is what is called Customer Service. Robert spent and hour and a half working on them to make two flip key blades for me and went out of his way to help me out. Eventually, because the keys were Chinese the chip didn't program with my car but Robert is going to order replacement chips and we will be at it again. All in all, an awesome experience at Elio's. They will be my go to locksmith's in Miami for sure. Edit:-7th Oct 2017 Robert called me on Tuesday and they had the new transponders in. Went in today and now have 4 working keys for my car. Hurricane Irma's eye wall is currently hitting near Key West. 3 days ago I could not find my shutter keys. I called 5 other locksmiths and they could not service me in Homestead, FL. They were very dismissive over the phone as well. Needless to say my anxiety level was fever pitched. Finally, I called Elio's Locksmith and they were able to come out and get my shutter locks in order in just a few hours. Furthermore, the installer (Alfredo the life saver) went above and beyond and started to help me adjust my actual storm shutters. He pulled out his drill and adjusted the interior bracket pin-holes that weren't lining up properly. By the time he left, my shutters were even more secure! I'm eternally grateful to Elio's. Elios is the best! I called needing to make keys for my daughter's car at a tow yard. Hector picked me up at my home within 30 minutes and took me to yard. He made the keys in no time. They worked perfectly! And when I noticed the bumper had a screw loose where the tow truck hooked up, he got the bumper back in place and secured. Plus he helped me get Maps on my phone so I could get back home. That's what I call efficiancy and great customer service. We have used Elios since 1987, they are experts with anything locks. Elios technician was able to cut two duplicates of mi Cadillac DTS keys and program them electronically, so they can start the car and work. Many years ago, Elios installed Medeco keys in my home, the best ones available. They are simply the best and can do every possible thing right. read more
