MC had a better price, so thought I'd give them a try. They gave a good estimate of the time to get to me. Texting worked better for me; I got immediate responses on checking about their expected time of arrival. Both Miguel & Carlos were extremely polite, courteous and friendly. They ensured I was safe and went out of their way to make me comfortable. They were able to give me a ride in their truck to the auto shop, and on the way, we had a fantastic conversation about various things. They were employed elsewhere, and decided to start on their own. Given their excellent communication and customer-orientation skills, I am sure they will do very well in this business. Marx Towing has been one of the worst companies I've worked with in recent memory. I was in a very…read morestressful situation, and I needed a non-operational, full-size pickup towed from a semi-tight spot. I called Marx as they are our local AAA affiliate, and they sent someone out promptly. The driver was incredibly rude from the start. He pulled up and immediately said that he wouldn't be able to tow the vehicle. He tried to jump the pickup for about five minutes to see if he could get it moved. When he was unsuccessful, I asked him for advice regarding what I should do to get the pickup moved. I inquired if there was a different (smaller) tow truck he could use or if there was another company he'd recommend who may be able to tow the vehicle successfully. He shrugged and told me--point blank--that it was my problem, and I had to figure it out. He then left. I called Bracco's Towing since I still needed to move the pickup. They sent someone out quickly, and they were able to move the truck successfully within ~10-15 minutes. I reported the issue with Marx to AAA, and they have now issued me a full refund for the tow that I had to pay for through Bracco's. I was frankly appalled by the laziness and the blatant "I don't care" attitude from the Marx tow truck driver. I will not attempt to use their services again.

Anna, had it out for our driver. He was great and kind. Anna obviously hated the driver, cancelled our premium AAA benefits once our totaled car was on the truck, and then threatened us (the accident victims with taking her tow truck driver's pay check if we didn't give her $300 in cash immediately. Not sure how Anna, the extortionist, even has a job. Before it was determined our car was totaled, she made sure to roll all the windows down on our car, and let it sit in Marx's towing's yard for the whole week, destroying the interior of the car. There was water (from rain or sprinklers) all over the interior of the car, animal footprints, dead insects etc...will be filing with BBB and any other legal avenue to hold Anna accountable for torturing a family of accident victims several hours from home and extorting money and threatening us. And at Christmas. Anna has a serious hatred problem, destroys people's vehicles while she has possession of them through Marx towing, and extorts money from accident victims with full insurance coverage and premiere AAA membership that includes 100 miles of towing. I can't express how sick Anna is. She is hateful and needs help. I hope she gets it.
