The preparation was delightful with the glaze and sauce evenly spread across all of the 6 asparagus. They had been cooked and chilled to the ideal texture for asparagus - not too soft and not too crunchy. We were assisted by Hannah, one of the sommeliers at the restaurant, to select an Australian wine to go with our meals. We were not disappointed in her recommendation. We our only disappointed in our inability to remember the name of the wine. Hannah also suggested when we were in Hobart to visit Sullivan's Cove Distillery for Whisky. This suggestion was even better than her wine recommendation. Now I could carry on reviewing the meals my husband and I had, but I won't. They were both equally delicious with impeccable presentation. The pace of the meal was such to allow for digestion and that is a welcome change from being in the States. The wait staff was all equally pleasant for a restaurant of this stature being in the base of The Crown Promenade Melbourne and at the higher end of the price point spectrum.
