We initially had to wait for some seats to be cleaned up, even though there was a number of open tables. Once seated our server(s) were very friendly and we had our food on the table in no time. I went for the burger and my wife went for the chili salad. My burger was ok, but the bun was such that it nearly disintegrated and I was left trying to eat a squished out mess. I tried my wife's meal and it was definitely very tasty. Overall, The food was good, but not fabulous, like I had hoped. Even though the place was only 1/2 full, the noise levels were such that we had to nearly yell at each other to be heard. The entire place is glass, hardwood floors and metal chair (which make a seriously loud noise when moved). This would have been a cool place to linger and chat, but unless you have a blowhorn that's just not possible. Out servers were very friendly and good. I think had we been able to sit outside this would have been a fabulous spot. I'll go back, as long as I can enjoy my meal outside.

Also, we arrived at lunchtime on a weekday, which is probably why we didn't get to see any "SHOTS SHOTS SHOTS". Despite having to deal with poor service, the food is darn good. The Pita with a Bone was the most tender and delicious lamb I've had in a long time. The bone just needed a slight tug and slipped right out. I loved every bite of that pita. They almost have the trifecta for what makes a bad restaurant: Insouciant staff? Check. Obnoxiously loud music? Check. Terrible food? Not... check... They served us some bread to go with and we were in heaven munching while watching the river and the people drift by. The service was prompt, but not rushed and I noticed after a while that all the servers were Italian. This is a nice touch. After finishing those we were still a little hungry and split a plate of pesto gnocchi. The dumplings were light and firm and the pesto sauce was perfect. We savored that and a little more people watching and eventually drifted off. There are a huge number of choices along the Promenade. After writing off the chain restaurants, the soulless corporate fronts with thumping music, and the ones with the dreaded QR code ordering systems there are still many to choose from.
