She gave me a list of options, and explained what to expect as we went along with the permit and homeowner-association approval process. We are, however, disappointed by the lack of responses to inquiries about some visibly poor workmanship at the entry/approach. My husband reached out to Gary a couple of times. He responded to texts but no site visit to address what is poor workmanship. We understood the curing process would take time, however the disappointing workmanship near the entry has not been addressed. For these reasons, we would not recommend and, can't undo our decision to go with a different contractor that did a neighbor's driveway. Very unfortunate since pre-job (contract phase) they're on point. Post job....very disappointing The "splatter" along the edge of the approach is not a good look. This isn't a curing issue, this is poor workmanship that's not going away. Was hoping it would be addressed and possibly correctable so reached out early on. The 2nd pic with straw is nearly 4 weeks later. Again, that's not a curing issue. The opposite side is smooth. That gray messy "splatter" is not good!

Update: so they did come back, and removed the layer of concrete and a lot of the rubble, sand and…read moregravel that had been spilled in the planting beds and that I had already broomed out of the lawn (of course far from all, and I have since filled two 5 gallon buckets with larger stones, bits of rubble, and sand that remained -- mostly out of the lawn -- and more needing to be cleaned up). The ruts remain. Oh, and once the sand and gravel was removed, I discovered that the weight of the truck had cracked the sidewalk in front of the porch steps. They also repaired a cut they had mistakenly made into the foundation block, which I noticed after I posted the first review. Unfortunately, after making that repair, the crew elected to dump the leftover cement mix on the ground in the side yard and cover it with dirt to try to hide it. I now have a 4 or 5 square feet of hardened concrete in the side yard that needs to be broken up and removed. I would think twice before hiring this company, and get written assurances of how the property will be protected and cleaned up if I did hire them.
