They are the face of the place and should be more welcoming . The staff in the back makes up for that. My daughter isn't an easy patient however they are very patient with her . The woman who initially answered the phone rudely told me she couldn't see my child at that office and they couldn't open a new chart for her and tried to dismiss me; this was specifically after being told by the North Brunswick office that the treatment my daughter needed could only be done in the Greenbrook location. After calls going back and forth between North Brunswick and Greenbrook, Greenbrook finally called and said they would see my daughter, but I had to register her as a new patient, for whatever reason they would not transfer her file. It finally comes time to make her appointment and there are insurance issues. The office was completely unhelpful in trying to resolve them. The issue is finally resolved, and I made an appointment for my daughter two weeks or more ahead of schedule. I called to confirm the appointment, confirm the insurance, and let them know a different family member would be taking her. My family member showed up with my daughter only to be told they wouldn't see her- again because of insurance. When I called to find out what was going on, I asked to speak to the office manager or the person who handled the insurance, which I know to be a woman. Instead, after some whispering the young man who answered the phone came back on claiming to be said person. I was then told that someone tried to contact me and cancel the appointment but my mailbox was full. There were NO MISSED CALLS of any kind, my voicemail box WAS NOT FULL, and even if that were the case there is a secondary number and email to reach me. Smile Express knew full well their contract with HBCBS would be ending September 1, and my appointment was scheduled for September 2. Their attempt to contact me was on August 29th. This office is full of nothing but disrespectful liars and I pray that no one continues to use them.

In February 2025, I developed horrible tooth/gum pain. My previous dentist stopped taking my insurance & failed to tell me this until I called about an outrageous bill. The next dentist in my area wasn't taking patients for two weeks. I contacted this office (of oral surgery) & was told that Dr. Rannucci was on vacation but his partner oral surgeon was there & I could make an appointment. I specifically asked the young lady on the phone if he not only "pulled teeth" but if he also did general dentistry & she assured me that "he does everything" so I made my appointment. The appointment was for the next day, and early in the morning. I was there on time but imagine my surprise when I spent 20 mins of my "appointment time" listening to the hygienist (a middle aged Caucasian woman with straight dark hair mixed with gray) & the oral surgeon (believe his name is Cappetta.) talking about me & how they would not be able to handle my "care" unless it was to do an extraction. I guess they thought tooth pain made me lose my hearing also. Anyway, they called me to the window & the oral surgeon was pretty dismissive & borderline rude. There was a little back and forth because I was given false information. If he didn't do "general dentistry" and he kept saying I needed a referral. (According to my dental plan I do not need a referral to go to any practice.) why is his office staff stating he does. They wasted my time & I had to both take a day off of work AND get there for before 8am. Ultimately he suggested I go to my old dentist and get a referral but ended up giving me the name of two dentists in my plan that I could call & telling me that after I see them, if I need oral surgery I can "come back here". They couldn't even give me the courtesy of calling those dentists and seeing if they could squeeze me in, due to my high level of pain. I ended up leaving because there was nothing else to do. Also I want to mention that the day I made the appointment I was told I HAD to give a $100 deposit just to see them. Which I did but I made them refund my money. All the while the young lady at the reception desk did my refund request she was smirking. This review may have never happened if I hadn't spoken to my best friend and she tell me she ALSO had a poor customer experience with this office and that same surgeon. She also knows of two additional people that experienced the same. So clearly, this is a pattern. I would sincerely recommend thinking long and hard about coming here unless you like to be mishandled by a doctors office. Sort of a buyer beware situation This is why I do not and would never recommend this office.

My son has sensory issues and Dr. H is a custom fit to his…read moreneeds - she actually is getting her degree in child behavior and has a vast knowledge of sensory processing issues. As the mother of a special needs child herself, Dr. H even books extra time for certain patients so she can put the child at ease in her playroom. She even has aromatherapy in the waiting room. I was thoroughly impressed with her knowledge, communication ability and gentle approach.

I am sorry but i will not refer anyone there or say that the office has good communication!!!!!!!
