We had such a wonderful experience with Dr. Eli Ahdoot. My husband initially reached out through his website for more information, and Dr. Ahdoot immediately followed up. He took the time to personally review all of my son's X-rays and provide thoughtful feedback, which gave us so much confidence that we were in good hands. A few days later, my son's splint from urgent care got wet, and I texted Dr. Ahdoot to ask what we should do. He immediately told us to come in, took care of the issue right away, and even put my son in a cast to make sure he was properly protected. From start to finish, Dr. Ahdoot was incredibly responsive, knowledgeable, kind, and easy to work with. He made what could have been a stressful situation feel so simple and reassuring. It's rare to find a doctor who is so accessible and genuinely caring, especially when it comes to your child. We are so grateful we reached out to Dr. Ahdoot and couldn't recommend him more highly. Truly a 5-star experience! read more

Couldn't leave zero stars or I would! This was one of the worst medical experiences of my life. Dr. Eli Ahdoot performed a right knee arthroscopy on me in June 2025. The entire surgery from skin to skin (from the time he cut me to the time he stitched me up) only took only 13 MINUTES (Let that sink in) most surgeries like mine last 45 minutes!!! He documented and told me that my ACL was intact. That was completely A LIE. Months later after constantly complaining I couldn't walk I had a second opinion, another surgeon discovered my ACL was torn and had recoiled into a stump. He called it an obvious finding that should never have been missed (It was a softball thing to miss was the exact words). The surgery was stopped since my ACL was destroyed and I needed a cadaver ACL placed in my knee by allograft! After surgery, there was zero proper follow-up. Physical therapy was severely delayed. I was cleared to return to heavy physical work far too soon while still in significant pain and swelling. This completely derailed my recovery. I went from trying to stay mobile to becoming wheelchair and scooter dependent, with a locked knee, severe muscle atrophy, nerve damage, and constant pain. My quality of life has been destroyed. Do not go to Dr. Ahdoot. He is rushed, dismissive, and provides substandard care. I would never recommend him. He doesn't even talk with his patients...you only see his PA's! read more

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Ahdoot and my experience with him. I first saw Dr. Ahdoot in March 2026 because I was in so much pain that I could barely walk or bend my knee. At my very first appointment, he explained that my knee was bone-on-bone and that I would eventually need a total knee replacement. Because I had a vacation coming up, I decided to try a cortisone injection first. It helped a little, but unfortunately, the pain continued. After waiting three months, I finally had my knee replacement in September 2026. Dr. Ahdoot explained my options, including the 3-D knee replacement. I decided to go ahead with it. I can honestly say that I am so happy I did. The biggest surprise for me was how wonderful my recovery has been. My knee feels great, and I had no pain after surgery. I have a very low pain tolerance, so I was honestly expecting the worst. Instead, my experience was so much easier than I ever imagined. When I think back to how I was before surgery--barely able to walk or bend my knee--and compare that to how I feel now, I am incredibly grateful. Dr. Ahdoot gave me the opportunity to get back to moving without that constant knee pain hanging over me. I am so thankful I found Dr. Ahdoot and trusted him with my knee replacement. I truly feel that choosing the 3-D knee replacement procedure was one of the best decisions I could have made for myself. I would wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Ahdoot to anyone who is suffering from severe knee pain and is considering knee replacement. Thank you, Dr. Ahdoot, for helping me get my life--and my mobility--back! read more

Approximately eight months ago, I underwent knee surgery performed by a highly professional and considerate surgeon. The surgeon demonstrated patience and expertise, executing the procedure with excellent skill. During subsequent follow-up appointments, the surgeon reviewed my progress, offering positive feedback and guidance to ensure ongoing recovery. Based on my experience and the surgeon's proven track record, including numerous procedures for UPS employees, I highly recommend his services. His proficiency and dedication make him the premier choice for such surgical interventions. read more

Beware!!!! They demonstrate utter negligence when providing your medical care which greatly delays your treatment. I just got off the phone with the state of California and currently filing a formal complaint. I've never done this in my 39 years of life but I've also never seen an office so poorly mismanaged. They need to be looked into for their pure uncaring medical care. I should have known they were like this when I had to wait 1 hour despite and overbooked despite having an appointment. Stay away from this office: I would never ever trust them with any type of surgery. EVER read more

The doctor is knowledgeable and experienced, but unfortunately, the wait times are excessive, even with an appointment. After waiting so long, it's frustrating to feel rushed during the visit. Every time I come in, I feel like he doesn't take enough time to listen to my concerns or answer my questions thoroughly. I respect his expertise, but feeling heard and having my time respected are also important parts of good patient care. read more

I just had a total hip replacement on Tuesday the 11th...the surgery went extremely smoothly I was up and out that same day within hours. I don't think I could have found a better surgeon than Dr Adhoot for this total hip replacement. And his staff are very helpful. I'm now in recovery I know that's going to take a little time. And now on day 8 I really feel like I'm turning the corner my mobility is getting better every day...the pain in my knee and my hip are gone my limp is gone! I'm so grateful that my attorney referred me to Dr. Ahdoot after my car accident. I was dealing with a lot of pain and discomfort in my elbow and wrist, and Dr. Ahdoot recommended PRP injections to help with my injuries. I had PRP injections done in both my elbow and wrist, and I've noticed such a significant improvement. I feel so much better than I did before, and I'm truly thankful for the care and treatment I've received. Dr. Ahdoot is an amazing doctor. He is knowledgeable, professional, caring, and takes the time to really listen to his patients and make sure they understand everything. He made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process, and I always felt like I was in good hands. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Ahdoot to my family, friends, and anyone who is looking for an excellent doctor. I'm so thankful my attorney referred me to him. I had a 2p appointment with Dr. Ahdoot. At 3:05p I still was not seen, and for the third time was told the doctor would see me soon. I left at 3:10p. When I re-entered the waiting area, to my surprise, it was packed. When I walked out of the doorway, to the hallway there was a patient on a gurney in addition to patients waiting in the hallway. Anger overwhelmed me. It was obvious to me this doctor double books, and possibly triple books. He treats his patients like cattle. He doesn't care about his patients. He just cares about the money. It saddened me to see so many unattended patients. Lastly, I had to pay $12.00 for parking. This doctor should pay for parking when patients wait so long to be seen. I will not be returning to this doctor. I shared this experience with my primary physician, and have been scheduled to see another Orthopedic doctor. read more

I was 65 (now 66) and developed arthritis in my hip. I've been active through my whole life - triathlons, running and hiking and suddenly I was struggling to walk to my car. I was referred to Dr. Ahdoot and from my first visit to his office I knew I was in good hands. His staff are amazing; communicative, helpful and understanding. When we reached the point of actual hip replacement surgery, this took place at Glendale Memorial, it was my first major surgery and I could not have had better care from the hospital staff. Twelve weeks later I can walk without pain; actually I could walk from the first week without assistance and without pain. When I saw the X-Rays this past week prior to my check-in with Dr Ahdoot, it was the first time I realized what the team had done. I have a four-inch (tidy) scar and that's it. Quite amazing considering what the procedure entailed. If you are expreriencing joint pain from arthritis, evidently I don't have a lot of case history, but based on what I recently went through if you have the fortune to be able to work with Dr. Ahdoot and his team I would urge you to do so. Final fact - Dr. Ahdoot's office in Burbank is at the end of a long corridor in his building. When I went for my last consultation before my surgery it took me about five minutes to get from the elevator to the office. When I went for my post-surgery assessment last Monday, I covered the same ground in about 45 seconds. If I could give him and his team six stars I would. read more

Eli Ahdoot, DO - Chekc out the new hip! - Orthopedists Near Me - Burbank, California

I consulted with this surgeon twice before deciding to have my hip replacement elsewhere. My decision was based on concerns about inconsistent communication. During my first consultation, I was shown metal implants and was left with the understanding that metal was what he used. Because I have concerns about metal sensitivity, this was an important issue for me. The surgeon also ordered metal sensitivity testing. At my second consultation, he recommended a ceramic femoral head without acknowledging that this differed from my earlier understanding or explaining the change. That left me confused, especially since my metal sensitivity concerns had been discussed from the beginning. I also received conflicting information about technology and surgical planning. During one visit, I was told, "I don't use robotics because I trust my hands more." Later, there was discussion of a 3D CT scan, precision planning, and an additional $4,000 fee. I did not feel I received a clear explanation of exactly what I would be paying for or how it would benefit my surgery...he did NOT on his own accord inform me about the 4000.00....I was told upon check out that the money had to be paid in full a week before surgery. I had no idea what she was talking about he presented like the 3D scan and all the Precision of that 3D model was going to be imperative for my surgery and prior he said he wasn't doing robotics so he didn't disclose the amount and it made no sense to me at all that a $4,000 fee was going to be added on for something I wasn't getting and I shouldn't be paying for that anyway many surgeons in fact the one I chose Incorporated this and I don't have to pay a penny so buyer beware!!! I cannot comment on the quality of his surgical skill because I did not have surgery with him. My review is based solely on my consultation experience. For me, clear communication, consistency, and transparency are essential when making a life-changing medical decision, and unfortunately I did not feel I received that AND trusting a surgeon is IMPERATIVE. read more

Where do I begin? Well for starters, my surgery was on November 5th 2024 a Arthroscopic surgery to my torn meniscus on my left knee. My physical therapy didn't start until Wednesday December 4th of 2024. I am scheduled to go back to work where I lift 90 pounds and have to walk at least 12,500 steps per day. The day to return to work is on December 16th through my EDD, disability. They sent my HR doctors note to return back to work on January 13th of 2025. (So let me get this clear, they gave me a doctors note to return to work on January 16th 2025, but won't extend my EDD disability passed December 16th. I haven't been cleared. The communication is beyond non existent. I was the one who had to follow up with my physical therapy. Not them. My knee is still in a lot of pain, it's swollen and have only 1 day of physical therapy under my belt. I am no where near ready to return to work. I called for them to extended my EDD so I can recover and receive money that I set aside for a situation like this. The denied me and said I am good. Without asking me any questions or checking up on me. I am got a second opinion from my primary doctor and gave me the needed extension. The hubris that Dr. Ahdoot shows is blasphemy. He thinks all people heal the same and he thinks after his survey all you need is 6 weeks. Do your research people. I can bearly walk my dog, can't walk down stairs and definitely can't do my job at work. I can't carry over 15 pounds. I carry over 95-200 pound and tools at work. Some people don't heal until 4 months. Please do you due diligence before coming here. Very disappointed but not surprised. They can message directly to this post and make up some excuse to why they denied my extension or they can flat out call me a liar. The thing is I have receipts My knee has limited mobility. I have my second therapy tomorrow. I was their results. They think I'm 1-2 months away read more

I went to see Dr. Ahdoot for pain in my right hip. It started as a snapping and popping sensation, then gradually progressed to occasional pain with simple activities like walking or getting out of a chair or car, along with general stiffness. I am very active, so I tried to push through it with physical therapy, chiropractic care, and lots of stretching. These helped for a short time, although I was still physically strong, the pain persisted and continued to worsen. I had never had surgery before, so I was nervous and hesitant to go under the knife. I made simple lifestyle adjustments--limiting certain activities, using seat cushions, and modifying how I moved--but it wasn't enough. The final straw was when I was shopping with my daughter and was in excruciating pain just from walking. That's when I decided it was time. Dr. Ahdoot was quick to get me scheduled for surgery. He and his team helped me navigate insurance and guided me through all the steps needed to prepare. On the day of surgery, the DISC Center in Marina del Rey was phenomenal. They immediately helped put me at ease. Since this was my first surgery, I was very anxious. I had some difficulty fully waking up from anesthesia and developed nausea, but the nurses were wonderful--keeping me comfortable and helping me get moving. I was walking within hours after surgery (with a walker, of course). Within three days, I no longer needed the walker, and aside from mild surgical pain and some muscle stiffness, I already felt significantly better. I am 52 and initially thought this was just a pulled muscle or bursitis because I am otherwise healthy. I was hesitant and skeptical that I needed surgery, but after dealing with the pain for nearly three years, I am so glad I went through with it. Eight weeks after the surgery, my endurance is quickly improving, I am moving without pain and have no restrictions in movement. I had a minimally invasive total hip replacement using the anterior approach. For an additional cost, I opted for a prosthetic customized to my body structure. This allowed the surgeon to avoid cutting any ligaments or tendons, which is crucial for recovery and long-term stability. My incision is about three inches long and healing quickly. I am also a Type 1 diabetic, and we typically heal more slowly and can have more complications. I'm happy to say I am healing very well and have had no issues related to my diabetes. During surgery, I was even able to keep my insulin pump and CGM attached. The anesthesiologist monitored my blood sugar throughout the procedure, which allowed me to stay on my routine and maintain good control before, during, and after surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Ahdoot. He has a calm, steady temperament that immediately puts you at ease. He is confident in his skills, patient, and never made me feel pressured. I was extremely hesitant about surgery, but he simply educated me and presented the facts of my situation. He told me that when I was ready, I would know--and he was right. read more

If you're thinking about knee surgery as an option, Dr. Eli Ahdoot's thorough, caring guidance and positive attitude and helpful office staff will put you at ease--he explained expected outcomes, recovery times, and recommended post-op physical therapy thoroughly and precisely. I recently had a total knee replacement with Dr. Eli Ahdoot, and I can't believe how incredible I feel in such a short amount of time. The recovery has been remarkably smooth and fast--far better than I ever expected! From my very first visit, Dr. Ahdoot showed genuine care and compassion. He took the time to thoroughly explain the entire procedure, answered every single one of my questions patiently, and addressed all my concerns. That level of attention gave me real peace of mind and the confidence to move forward with the surgery. After the procedure, I was truly impressed when he personally called me the very next day to check on how I was doing. In today's world, that kind of follow-up is rare, and it made me feel truly valued as a patient. Dr. Ahdoot clearly cares deeply about his patients and is exceptionally skilled at what he does--his expertise in minimally invasive and robotic joint replacement techniques really shines through in the results. I had to come here because this is where my insurance sent me, I was skeptical to begin with with due to the last name being ahdoot as I had a horrible experience years ago with another Dr with the same last name and their offices being directly next door to each other. I went for my shoulder, I brought in a report of an ultrasound and had zero imaging only a paper report that stated I had 4 partial tears and arthritis, he literally spent a maximum of 60 seconds in the room , diagnosed me without ANY imaging and also diagnosed me with Frozen shoulder, which is Totally different then Partial tears to a shoulder that has been already rebuilt which he couldn't be bothered to listen too of hear about my head on collision or my cervical fusion which could have been playing into my shoulder pain had he taken the time to take an X-ray! When I asked if he was going to take one he said he didn't need to see an X-ray he knew what was wrong and that I needed cortisone shot and physical therapy! WRONG! Needless to say I got a 2nd opinion and the Dr immediately ordered an X-ray prior to even entering the room, spent 20 minutes with us going over it and my extensive damage and has ordered an mri, and a complete different diagnosis and injection that will help me and pending mri possible surgery to repair the tear to the rotator cuff! I definitely won't be going back and didn't intend to from the second I walked out the door!' Horrible diagnosis without imaging!'n read more

I really liked Dr Ahdoot but his office is very inefficient. The Surgery coordinator was to call me the next day, no call, I called her and she said she will get back to me. I waited a week then she tells me that my surgery is in 2 months. Who waits 2 months to repair 2 shoulder tendon tears? So I went to another Orth Dr and had the surgery 9 days later. Now I get an invoice from Dr Ahdoot stating I have to call the office if paying via credit card (who mails checks these days, nobody) In calling there are 5 options to pick from, non are payment options, I left a msg twice. I also called their billing office and left a msg with no return call. They have a payment portal but you have to call the office for an invite, good luck getting a person to answer the phone. This doctor possesses terrible people skills from the get-go. The 'great doctor' was almost 30 minutes late for my first appointment, which personally cost me money in my line of work. My time is just as valuable as his and anyone else's. In addition, his office has horrible customer service. I left multiple messages and even mailed them a letter for an $8.00 co-pay bill that they continue to harass me about. I payed the $8.00 co-pay with cash, for each appointment (and I only had two).
