This shop's staff have major issues on appointment management. Both appointments at this place were a bad experience. First appointment was set up with Randy 4 days in advance. I got to the barbershop and the barber there said Randy had just left; the barber there asked if I had followed up with the Randy to confirm my appointment; he asked this question as if the barbers' phone numbers were available on the website for new clients. I was still able to get a cut the same day so I decided to give them a second chance considering they're close to my job. The second appointment was set up with Savage (Hector); I get to my 1pm appointment which was set up 3 days in advance and confirmed the day of. Hector wasn't there and texted me he was 5 minutes behind. 10 minutes later and he's not there for the appointment. I left due to being limited on time because of being on a lunch break. I set the appointment for this reason only though. For a company who advertises themselves online a lot they should take down those ads down considering they don't supplement the ads with a good overall service. Listen, you can hide your 10 day unwashed pajama bottoms in your Zoom meetings, but you can't hide your overgrown hair with a Dodgers baseball cap forever. After months and a recent move to LA, my bf's hair could no longer be contained by a shitty team's baseball cap, so we hunted for a barber. He was looking for a change and wanted to make sure he found a good barber that would be able to switch up his look while keeping his hair clean and professional. THANKFULLY, he finally came across Diego on IG, and my bf immediately booked an appointment after getting so hyped up over photos of his work. When you meet Diego, you can clearly see he views his work as art and is truly talented. Needs better time management. Booked a 1hr+ appointment waited 25 min after my scheduled time. There was already someone in the chair when I showed up. Didnt want to interrupt the session since it was clear it just started. Someone else showed up for an appointment that was scheduled 30 min after mine..but my appointment was supposed to be over an hour long, not sure how that would've worked. I left and let the other guy get his cut. Likely not going back but could still be promise of good cuts if your appointment actually works - the pictures dont lie on the good work - just needs better scheduling and customer attention. read more

Diego came recommended by a very good friend. My husband made an appointment with him, and Diego showed up at our house timely. Diego brought all his equipment with him and was wearing a face mask upon arrival. After showing him a few pictures of my husband with fresh hair cuts, Diego was able to do an even better job than previous barbers. Impressive part is this was his very first time cutting my husband's hair. During Diego's time at our home, he was very professional and the whole interaction felt COVID safe. Diego is a truly skilled and passionate barber. I contacted him to schedule a house call, and he arrived punctually. We started to talk, and I was surprised that he has been cutting hair for 10+ years! He told me he started cutting hair out of his parent's garage and moved to LA, in order to pursue his dreams. Although he is a very intelligent young man--he just graduated from UCLA--he is very humble. As for the haircut...it was GREAT! I've lived in LA for a very long time and have yet to find a barber that pays attention the smallest details like Diego does. I have very difficult hair to cut, but Diego made it look effortless. I can't thank him enough for making me look great for my best friend's bachelor party.
