Do you do long and curly hair? I would love to get a cut that looks like Jeremy Allen White in the Bear? Name is Daniel Leighton and I would love to come in tomorrow…

I have a great curly hair expert. My daughter has super curly hair and this stylist does a great job. What’s your name? Book with Susan and I’ll make sure she has an hour to do your hair.

Do you offer gift certificates? How much does a hot shave cost?

Hi! Yes, you can buy gift cards in store or online. We have a classic face shave that is $50. It’s pretty luxurious. Here is the link to shop online:…

So around what time can I call to make an appointment?

Good morning, we do accept walk-ins but we typically book up fast on the weekends. During the week, it's much easier to walk in for a cut.

What's the difference between the classic and premium cut? Do they both come with a face shave/beard trim?

Hello, the classic cut is our 30 minute cut and is designed around maintenance of your look. The premium cut is our 45 minute service and involves straight razor line up and hot towel. Beard trims are a separate service, along with face shaves. Text…

Do you stick to traditional haircuts or range to longer haircuts like hairdressing in a wag?

Hello, our stylists are pretty versatile. If you text us a picture of the look you are going for I can let you know if it's something we can do. 213-277-4045

Do you cut long hair? if i wanted to get layers

Yup. We definitely can help with that.

I'm trying to plan a day for my fiance for him to relax before our wedding? I want it to be a surprise so is there a way to pay beforehand or do you have gift cards available?

Hello! How fun and exciting :) When are you planning on coming in? Call from front desk on Wednesday and they can put a credit card on file before his service and process payment that day.

Do you have someone that can do undercuts?

Yes. Absolutely. Call us for an appointment.

Are you trimming and shaping beards at the moment?

Hello! We can now do beard grooming, no problem.

What do u chg for sans cut....thx?

$32 to $48 depending on the type of cut.

Can this business lemme know if you do trims for fancy mustaches? My husband has a HUGE mustache like he wins competitions with it lol so it doesn't just trust it to anyone. Do you have barbers who specialize in mustaches?

Can you text us a picture at 213-277-4045? I can show it to our barber and get his opinion.

THEN, I contracted COVID and was unable to make my appointment. Despite canceling on me for whatever reason, and despite being a regular, they charged me! I'm not arguing that businesses shouldn't have policies to prevent losing money and protect an artist's time and income, but it left a bad taste in my mouth. I didn't complain, I didn't make an issue, but what I DID do was never go back AND pull my daughter from the other salon they own. Bad business practices and treating not respecting regular clients' time has consequences... Avoid being treated like a number, plenty of better places right down the street. This business won't last.

I had one of the worst haircut experiences of my life at the Silverlake location with Chris R…read more I specifically asked for a mid skin fade, shaved bald and close to the scalp, and instead received a high fade taken far too high into the top, with uneven blending throughout. There was even a visible patch of hair left on the right side. The top was completely inconsistent, including a noticeably longer section in the front that clearly hadn't been cross-checked. The entire cut looked sloppy and careless at best, like a bowl was placed on my head and everything below it was shaved with no blending or refinement. To make matters worse, he nicked my right ear with the blade, and I felt irritation on the left side of my head as well, which made it obvious the haircut was being rushed. The entire appointment felt like an "in and out" situation with very little care or attention to detail. There was no mirror check or opportunity to make adjustments before finishing. I was given a hot towel, brushed off, and that was it... no wash, no proper finishing, no product. He removed the cape and sent me to pay. For someone labeled as a Level 3 "master" barber, the quality was shocking once I got home and really saw the haircut. Because I had a trip the next day, I had to go to another barbershop to fix it, which cost me an additional $50 on top of the $90 service and $20 tip I already paid. Even the barber who corrected it was surprised at how poorly it had been done. To their credit, I did reach out to corporate and they issued a refund, which I appreciate. However, it doesn't change the experience. Between the rushed environment and lack of skill shown here, I would never feel comfortable returning. I strongly recommend being very cautious about who you book with here. Thankfully, I've since found a very skilled barber in Atwater Village who was genuinely shocked after seeing photos of this cut.

Disappointing Experience - Poor Customer Service…read more I had been coming to this place for over a year, and everything was fine until my last two visits. Unfortunately, my experience has completely changed my opinion of this business. I was always a respectful customer and consistently left a generous tip of 20% or more because I appreciated the service and wanted to treat the staff fairly. During my previous visit, a hairstylist named Heidi gave me a really bad haircut. Even my wife noticed the difference. I was very upset and almost left a one-star review immediately, but I decided to be fair and give her another chance. When I booked my next appointment, I explained that my hairstyle had been a little different from usual last time. Instead of simply acknowledging my concern and trying to understand what I meant, Heidi repeatedly asked, "How different?" three times. Then, when she started cutting my hair, she told me that I could change my hairstylist anytime. Honestly, I was shocked by her response. I wasn't being rude or disrespectful; I was simply explaining my previous experience. The entire haircut became awkward and uncomfortable, and I ended up staying silent for the rest of the appointment. I don't understand why a simple comment about my hairstyle turned into such an uncomfortable interaction. The problem isn't just the haircut itself. Customer service means listening to feedback professionally and making customers feel comfortable, not making them feel awkward for expressing a concern. In my opinion, Heidi needs to improve her communication and customer service skills. Another thing worth mentioning: during in the past, another employee offered me a hair product in exchange for leaving a 5-STAR REVIEW. This made me question the authenticity of the business's reviews. After more than a year of being a customer, consistently tipping 20% or more, and giving this place a second chance, I expected a much more professional experience. I believe honest feedback should be welcomed, not met with an uncomfortable attitude. Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend this place based on my experience.
