When the kids got their drinks and she was serving them there was a hole in all of the cups. When we turned the cups over they all read "do not use". How does this happen? The last time we had a birthday party there it was amazing. This time it was mediocre. We paid over 200 for this. I kept my receipt.

So disappointed! I assumed going on a Sunday a couple hours before closing would be a good idea but…read morenope! Took my 3 1/2 year old and 9 year old and let me just say u will NEVER go back. Immediately upon entering we were totally ignored at the counter. One girl was prepping pizza boxes and the other assisting someone else. I had to move from one end to the other so one of them could notice me and assist me, that was the first red flag. Then, we entered the game zone and the carpet smell was HORRIBLE I mean it smelled so bad but my kids wanted to play so I tried to look like I was as excited as they were. Another red flag it that there is no sanitation wipes or sanitizing machine near the games so used my own that I had in my purse. The jump zone had no attendant!! There was a party being held there and some kids from the party were playing so roughly that I was nervous to let my kid go in there. When I mentioned to an employee that the kids were rough playing he went and spoke to the toddlers instead of addressing the older kids that were rough playing in there lol it was a complete disaster! So much so that these same kids that were playing got out and my 3 1/2 year old went back inside the jump zone and while enjoying herself the older kids that were rough playing ended up running in the space that she was in and one of them kicked her in the face! I was fuming!!! Where was the attendant? No where in site! I took my baby out immediately! Chuck E came out to do the birthday dance with the party that was there and I got to see it...the energy was soooo dull. I'm not sure if the was a manager working but the employees looked like high school kids. They would come from the kitchen with gloves on then use the register which is so nasty because they went back inside the kitchen with the same glove to help with food. The bathrooms were nasty and our experience overall confirmed that I will never go back there.

So many wonderful words to describe the people at Gamestop…read more My experience started on the phone when I called and spoke to a young man who confirmed he would hold a Pokémon game for me. I went to the store and met Ruby, what a lovely person who informed me about the manager, Tim. Tim is kind enough to hold Pokémon merchandise for the young children. I hung out with Ruby for over an hour talking about Pokémon stuff and how the store has special events for the young children to trade their Pokémon cards. Every Thursday they encourage children to come and review or trade Pokémon cards. I went back to Gamestop with my son after school and had the pleasure of meeting Tim (store manager) and Jackie (asst. mngr). Tim is as amazing as Ruby said he was. My son had the best time at gamestop!! He went through cards and Tim had a special collection Pokémon set he was saving for a child who was looking for some Pokémon stuff. My son was beyond ecstatic!!! We will definitely be back to buy more Pokémon stuff from gamestop. Thank you Tim and Jackie for saving Pokémon stuff for the young children. It is so special and thoughtful. Sincerely, a Mom with a Pokémon crazed child.

There is parking right out front. Housed in a historic building -- one of the oldest in town -- there are several rooms filled to the brim with artifacts, articles, books, pictures, and antiques. It's a self-guided visit, but they are happy to answer any questions should you have them. Frankly, there was so much "stuff" that it was a bit overwhelming. We definitely didn't see everything. Nor at times did we know where to look first. The items are organized by age and by category. You'll see some of the info regarding the area receiving telephones and actual time cards of the gals who worked for the telephone exchange. A typical kitchen of the age. A room with all the government employees. Lists of mayors and other politicians along with their pictures from the time of the city's/county's founding. There's a grouping about the Sherriff's and the local police force with lists of all the police chiefs, a group about the school, and the businesses in the area, etc. etc... All have photos and memorabilia. There's a brief video in one corner that I recommend seeing. It's on a loop so it's easy and short to watch. If you have time, do stop by. This is the kind of place that locals should definitely see, but that visitors would enjoy as well. And a place you could return to over and over again and not absorb all of the details. My only wish is that we'd had a tour guide to give us a bit more context and information.
