This place is great; the naan burritos are awesome. The take out is alway packaged very well and I'm usually never disappointed by the food.

I really hate giving bad reviews. I was very disappointed with my order. This was my first time trying this restaurant. Received a yellow dal makhani instead of brown, that wasn't creamy or buttery at all. This is my favorite dish so I was pretty disappointed. The flavor was just "ok" Ordered also two veggie Ethiopian combos but they also didn't really taste good either, with the exception of the greens/cabbage. The yellow lentils were not even fully cooked. I'm sorry but I won't be ordering again. :( read more

This is such an unusual restaurant, combining Ethiopian and Indian food, two of my favorites. Went there today on a return visit from California to Cincinnati. We miss the buffet, apparently cancelled like so many due to Covid, and it's not destined to return, it seems. So we ordered off the menu. One of us got the Indian lunch, a thali with a lot of food, including a chicken curry, lamb vindaloo, and chicken tikka masala, along with naan and lots of rice. II got the Ethiopian lunch, which also featured big portions for a low price ($10 for the Indian, $12 for the Ethiopin). The food was fresh and excellent, prepared to the spice level requested. Mango lassi hit the spot. Next time we'll get the chai. Service was fine courtesy of our charming waiter Chandu, who took some time to chat and made the experience more memorable. We're only here for a couple more weeks but will make sure to return before we leave. read more

The curry doesnt have any seasoning except spice. Portions are too small with higher price, meat arent seasoned and small tiny bites, the rice is corse and their Ethiopian coffee tastes like dirt. Really nice staff though... couldnt even finish the meal it was bad and vomited it outside on the walk to my car. Shout out the waiter though. He didnt charge me for the meal, only the coffee. This place wins both the best Indian AND the best Ethopian in Cincy, and it is all in one place! (We like to mix the two cuisines; it's a wild blend). It is open, spacious and beautiful, perfect for work lunch or romantic dinner. The wait staff is incredibly friendly, the owners are kind and deeply knowledgeable, and focused on the multicultural dining experience to great effect. Order the lamb yebege wot, it will amaze you! By chance I found this restaurant while searching for something else. I am so glad that I did. The Elephant Walk has a very interesting menu and it was quite a challenge to decide what to order. A buddy and I decided on Lamb Tikka Masala and Aloo Gobi with sides of Aloo Naan and Raita. I have eaten at various Indian restaurants and I truly believe that my dishes of the Tikka Masala & Aloo Naan are the best I've ever had. The melding of the flavors was ideal. The flavors remained in my mouth for quite a while after finishing my meal and that left me salivating for more. My friend felt that he meal was excellent as well. This restaurant is now on my go to places for carry out. Im looking forward to trying some of the Ethiopian dishes. They sound truly delicious and if they're made even half as well as the Indian dishes, well, the meal will be excellent. I really do recommend Elephant Walk. read more

I got the Doro Wot, spice level 4 and it came with Injera bread. The bread is kind of weird but when you eat it with the food it taste so good. I would highly recommend you try this place. read more

I was the organizer of the event that Crace S. wrote about in his review, so I am not going to rehash the details that he wrote about. But he left before the event was over, so I want to write about the problems at the end of the night. Our last group to arrive (7:30pm) had the same poor service, but had an additional problem. The kitchen staff was let go at 9pm at which point the group hadn't gotten any of their food. The owner then tried to run the kitchen by himself and got about half the dishes out. By 10pm, 7 of the 15 people still hadn't gotten food. At that point they walked out and went home hungry. Also, despite us telling them in advance that we would all be on separate checks, they put all our tables of 8-15 people on one check. So when it was time to leave, it took an additional 30-45 minutes to get the checks separated and paid for. Our group that arrived at 6pm wasn't able to leave until after 9pm. I had set up this event as a fundraiser for the Children's Tumor Foundation over two months in advance. I had confirmed our total number 6 weeks in advance. I reconfirmed all the details of the event 2 days in advance. They were VERY well informed of what was coming at them last night. And yet, the whole time, the manager openly and rudely blamed us for the problems. When in fact, it was her fault for not staffing correctly for the event. The only bright spot was when the owner arrived out of no where at the end of the event (10pm). He was incredibly apologetic and asked us if we would come back for a re-do of the event. He even agreed to donate a sizable amount to our charity. He asked us to stick around and he would give my husband and I a free dinner (since we hadn't gotten to eat because we spent the whole night putting our fires). But, it was too little too late. Elephant Walk has lost the business of all 50 people who attended that event last night. If you are trying to go to Elephant Walk in a big group or wanting to host a charity event there, I would tell you to avoid it at all costs. read more

I've always loved the food from here but had experienced low amounts of meat in their curry dishes and had a take out order that appeared empty. The staff was very attentive and were nice enough to replace my meal. I will definitely be going back here as I think they have some of the best curry in town and friendly costumer service. read more

I'm shocked the reviews aren't higher! To be fair, my family always goes for the lunch buffet and reviews with the lunch buffet seem better. In my experience, the selection is great and VERY tasty + decent price. My kids love the saag and chicken Tikka masala. My husband and I love the spicy chicken strips with peppers (unsure of the name) and chicken wings. I love the rice pudding and my kids love the house made peach ice cream. They have the long grain Indian rice, which is important to me in Indian food. The ambience is classy and comfortable and staff are always lovely. I often see business lunches taking place there. Also nice that they validate parking for usquare garages. The location isn't great (on the less popular side of usquare) and college kids can make the buffet more challenging, but this is one of my favorite places in Clifton. read more

First of all, I will say Elephant Walk provides the best customer service I've ever received! I come here regularly, mostly for drinks but also for food, and have always had a great experience. When I have eaten here with family, we all agreed it was the best Indian food we have tried. My grandma has to watch her salt intake and our waitress was very accommodating! She offered my grandma options to fit her needs, offered to adjust the recipe, and even brought out a sample so she could try it before committing! This is also my favorite place for a night out! So bought a Groupon and decided to try this place. My low scores are more for service than for food. So first the food: we had the Indian food, starting with the sampler appetizers and it was pretty good and so were our curry dishes. Overall I would give the food 4 stars for being pretty good authentic food. They were out of s few things though. And they had a frozen margarita as menu option but didn't have a blender to make it. I guess people don't usually buy frozen margaritas at an Indian restaurant so I can give them a pass. But don't put it on your menu! Now the service: so our waitress was pretty new and a young college student. She was really sweet but also vey new and contributed to an awkward dining experience. Think she was nervous being new so I'll give her a pass on this also. In the end, I asked if our Groupon in life's one or two deserts and she told me two. We ordered two, which we never would have done even one except that is was included. Then we got the bill and we were charged for one of them. I'm sure it was just an misunderstanding but she claims she told me we only got one but she would have it removed. She came back, after having it removed, but insisting that she told me. I mean, I can totally accept a misunderstanding but we both heard her. And insisting to point out that I was wrong, just cancelled out the act of having it removed. Elephant Walk has been our go to place for a while now. Who wouldn't enjoy a hearty dinner at a cheap price. But today for the first time we went on a weekday(Tuesday) and they had 2 for $3 naan tacos. We have a set of items we order every single time (naan nachos, Dereke tibs beef, Awaze tibs lamb and kulfi) but today I had to try the naan tacos. They come tomatoes and few other things with your choice of meat. I had the lamb and it was sooo yummy! Their food is always tasty and huge proportions. I visited the Elephant Walk recently because I'd always wanted to try Ethiopian food and being a vegetarian they have a pretty great selection of veggie options. And while the food is phenomenal, the service (or at least the scheduling) is pretty abysmal. Before venturing in, I'd read some of the scathing reviews so I knew the service was questionable so I chose to visit on a Monday night (and wasn't super famished). I even, a few days before, called ahead for a reservation at 7:30 pm, which I expected wasn't necessary (it wasn't) but I wanted to give them every opportunity to be ready. Arrived a few minutes before the reservation, there's a public garage just thirty feet from their front door, so if you're worried about parking in Clifton you needn't be. I think the charge was about $3 an hour. We were seated on time, and we were given menus. I know now, we should have placed our drink order right away, but because we weren't in a hurry it didn't seem like that big of a deal. Looking around, there were about four other tables occupied and they had already received their food. They have a partially open kitchen so I could see there was only one person cooking. But after a few moments I realized the problem, there was only one person working who served as host, telephone answerer/carry-out food handler, waiter, bartender, and bus boy. The minutes stretched on before he returned to our table, I asked if they had any Indian or African beers. He answered yes. I followed up by asking what they were. He said he had a list and went to get it. He was distracted as more people walked in and wanted to be seated. Eventually he returned with a drink menu. Seeing the longing faces of other tables jockeying for his attention next, we quickly placed our drink order and appetizers (we'd had more than enough time to study the food menu by then.) Apparently Monday is half-price wine night, get a whole bottle for the price of a half and they have a pretty good selection. Sadly the Indian beer I wanted was out, so I went local. Ordered the Mushroom Tibs appetizer, as well as an order of the Vegetable Sambussa and the Beef Sambusa. Being vegetarian, I can say the Vegetable Sambussa was terrific, much like and Indian samosa. The Mushroom Tibs however was spectacular - on a plate of rice it would have made a phenomenal entrée (which is a dinner option, minus rice). I thought it was great, though be wary of the spice. I like a spicy dish, when I order Indian I get a 4/6 but this was pretty darn spicy, if you're like me and too much spice can ruin a dish, when in doubt go lower on the spice level. We ended up getting our appetizers before we even got our first drink order, the food arrived just before 8 pm and the drinks after 8 pm. We placed our dinner order, but as more tables walked in and only one table that preceded had been able to settle up, we knew it'd be a wait. As we waited for our food to arrive, I was able to sit back and observe. Which was apparently the theme of the night, because people all over looked around at each other, it was a shared feeling of helplessness -- like we were all trapped in an elevator together. When the server did take someone's credit card, another table would walk up to him at the register with their card out asking to pay for theirs, not waiting to even see the check. While there, not a single table got bussed. One table, a guy and a woman, became so fed up with the delay they casually got up and left, leaving half a bottle of wine on the table. Apparently this must happen often because the server didn't bat an eye at the walkout, he just offered the unfinished bottle to the adjacent table of four who eagerly accepted it. The guy working in the kitchen was busting his hump, but I noticed every 10-15 minutes he'd disappear in back for five minutes. I think he was going in the back to wash the pans so he could cook more. Finally, about two hours after we'd been seated the entrees arrived. I got the Veggie Plate: red lentil misir, split yellow peas, collard greens, and cabbage shiro with house salad. It was phenomenal! I mean the flavor was so good, it was almost worth the wait! Will say, I would go down some on the spice level, the heat comes from slices of jalapeños though so I was able to pick them out and reduce the burn. The Ethiopian bread, injera took a while to get used to. It has a rich sour-dough flavor which is terrific, but the texture of a shammy. Everyone loved their food, oddly enough a second server arrived right as we got our entrees and started bussing some of the tables. Can't imagine why he didn't show up before 9:30 pm when the restaurant closed at 11 pm. Like I said, I don't think of it as a service problem - the people there were working hard, they just needed more help. So if you're thinking of hitting up Elephant Walk, bring a hearty appetite and a lot of patience. I doubt I'd go back but I would jump at the chance to get a carry-out order from them. read more

First time eating Ethiopian food, so I was excited. the restaurant is a fusion restaurant with an Ethiopian menu on one side and an indian menu on the other. Its a relaxed environment and has a full service bar. I got the halal lamb tibs, Its a pan sauteed lamb dish with stewed cabbage and injera. I got a level 4 spice level and it still wasnt that hot, dish was good but not amazing. My friend got a lamb makhni which was really good. Waitstaff was friendly but my only criticism is they were very slow and mixed up our order even though it wasn't very crowded, but maybe it was just an off night. I've only tried the Buffett in this restaurant. It has Indian and Ethiopian options and both are pretty good. I like the fact that they keep a little spice in their buffet dishes. Most other places with similar cuisine make the food bland to cater those who can't stand spice, but this one makes it just enough to make it flavorful while also delicious even if you're not a fan of the spicy. Their rice pudding is also a nice finisher to the buffett. Best of all is that the price is relatively affordable. I can't wait to come back and try their menu. read more

My first time having Ethiopian food was at Elephant walk, but I was not disappointed! I've had their Kitfo (Ethiopian beef tartare) and their lunch buffet twice. The lunch buffet is definitely a good deal and the seasonings and the freshness of the Kitfo was a pleasant experience as someone who enjoys tartare. I like places that serves exotic food that is hard to find anywhere unless if you go to that specific country obviously. Since I never had Ethiopian food before, obviously I'm not knowledgeable about it but I am convinced that Elephant Walk is a great place to eat at and I would happily recommend it to anyone who wants something exotic and flavorful. read more

Dear Elephant Walk, I really did want to love you (and don't worry, there's still chance for a redemption song). I loved your name, I loved your sign. I even loved the musk you emitted into the street. But here's what I didn't love: 1) Beer cost - we each ordered a large Taj beer (when in Rome), and they were $10 each. We got exposed because there was no drink menu with pricing, so we rolled the dice and the dice set our cash on fire. 2) The Lamb Vindaloo should've been called "Vindaloo with a dash of lamb". I am of the opinion that you can never have enough lamb - in this case, they fell short of my preferred lamb quantity of infinity by......infinity. 3) There was a similar volume problem in the saag paneer, except in this case the absentee was the paneer. Saag paneer, to me, is to an Indian restaurant what a burger is to an American restaurant. That is, the whole menu lives and dies by the saag paneer. In this case, the saag paneer didn't kill the meal, but it certainly left a bad taste in my butt. As an Indian myself, I have the luxury of having homemade Indian food any time I make it home. So the fun of going to an Indian restaurant is to treat yo'self to "restaurant style" Indian food. That is, greasy oily fatty (delicious) Indian food. Elephant Walk walks more along the line of homemade Indian food - so for those who don't have the luxury of getting homemade Indian food at home, this is a good option. Also, this place does have the nicest interior of any Indian restaurant in Cincinnati. In fact, I just assumed that this was the owner's SECOND restaurant, because typically the first effort has a sloppier (read: budget) interior. Food: loooovvveeee the injera. My favorite type of bread, soft, flavorful and healthy! The veggie plates in general are better than the meat ones. The beef I had has always been just very chewy square bites. It doesn't go well with the injera. Service: a little slow to be honest for how not busy it is . But overall very friendly. Sometimes I worry if they are going to stay in business because I never seen a full house of people during dinner time. Price: a little pricey for Clifton. Sadly. Places like deep India gives like two times amount food for less so it's hard to compete. Overall, I want to give 3 and half starts but that's for the price and services, for food? This is a place that one of my friends frequently suggests for us. Both visits have been fine. You can frequently find a groupon or a coupon on Restaurants.com. We went on a Friday night around 8p and had no problem getting a table for our party of seven. And I was surprised to find that finding parking was pretty easy, too! I'm a huge Indian food fan, so I went with Saag Paneer, one of my favorites. I requested zero spice and it still had a tiny bit of a kick. So, if you don't like things to get too spicy, I suggest you keep your number low. But the flavors were good and there were plenty of chunks of paneer! I do have to say that portions are small. This place surprised me! When my coworkers suggested we go to an Indian buffet just off of UC's campus, I had pretty low expectations...But Elephant Walk's food options, decor, and price were better than expected, and I got to try Ethiopian food for the first time! This review is based solely on the lunch buffet that they have every day for about $9. The buffet has your usual Indian buffet favorites, plus some surprises, including Ethiopian food on the buffet! I had never had Ethiopian food before, and this was a really low risk way to try a new cuisine (even if I didn't like it, it's just a buffet so I could have gone back for Indian food). They had fresh injera on the buffet, which is like a sour dough soft bread that is used to soak up all of the delicious Ethiopian curries and vegetables. On the Indian buffet side, they had the usual suspects plus very good pakoras, garlic naan, and spicy chicken wings that were stewed with peppers. I personally preferred the Indian food over the Ethiopian food, but that's probably just because it was more familiar to me. It was all very good! The restaurant is clean and well taken care of. The Elephant Walk Injera & Curry House is a beautiful restaurant located in the newest retail strip near UC's West Campus. The inside of the restaurant has a warm feeling. There is beautiful wood and decorations. There were also Halloween decorations when we arrived which was kind of cute. The menu is quite massive and could be overwhelming if you have never had Ethiopian and/or Indian food but the staff are super helpful in this case. Service is super friendly. It is not super fast but I think it is a part of the culture; they want you to stick around and enjoy the food. We had a couple Ethiopian dishes that were fantastically spiced and had plenty for leftovers. I would definitely recommend the Ethiopian coffee- it unique and absolutely fantastic. They also have a full bar. This is definitely a restaurant worth checking out! read more

A great little Ethiopian/ Indian find! Not a long wait and dishes are priced well. I will say that I thought the portions were a little small. Ordered an Ethiopian combo plate and it was great - love the classic chicken and lamb and the bread always absorbs all the flavors. I've eaten Indian here and I think the Indian might be a little better. The Ethiopian food had been a little cold when it came out but the Indian was pretty fresh and on point. Also tried baklava which is great dessert regardless of the cuisine! Service is good - full bar is there and lots of space for a group! Background is that a couple met at UC and opened two restaurants - the other is Dushmesh and the Indian food there is also solid. Myself and a friend decided to treat ourselves to some delicious Ethiopian food. We decided to sit at the bar because we were in a bit of a rush. The food was great as always, but, the service was not. It took two servers to take care of us and they did a sub par job at best. My dish was missing a hard boiled egg, when I pointed that out to one of the servers he just said "ohhhhhh. I wasn't paying attention.....". I came here with a coupon I bought from Groupon. Which was perfect, I was coming with or without one. It was Saturday night, wasn't super busy. Relaxed and calm atmosphere. My date and I ordered Ethiopian appetizers and an Indian entree. You can definently tell that their specialty is Ethiopian over Indian, there are many other restaurants in Cincinnati I would eat at for Indian, but the Ethiopian was awesome. No complaints. The bread was different and I loved the texture of it, and the beef sambusa had a delicate spice and cooked perfectly. Little awkward to eat due to the shape of it. I was only slightly disappointed about the naan bread. It wasn't the typically naan I've had at many other Indian restaurants, perhaps it was because it was a Northern Indian cuisine and majority of the Indian in Cincinnati is southern. The lamb rogan gosh was good as well. The portion was smaller, which I prefer. My date and I split the entree and appetizer and was satisfied. I tried to order the gulab jamun, but they were out. I have a predisposition towards liking any or all Ethiopian food as the flavors are usually do unique. That being said, I think this place has some of the best Ethiopian that I've had. Came here last night with a group and ordered every single sampler platter which easily fed 10 people. This was our 3rd time there. Our favorites were the fish dulet (diced cod), Doro wot (chicken) and kitfo (beef). The flavors were spot on and the injera is good and not too sour. I have yet to try the Indian side of the menu but based on the Ethiopian menu, I'm sure it would be awesome. The service and quality were all good as well read more

I have never been there before, so didn't quite know what to do. After waiting for a moment I walked over to the bar and stood politely. After a moment, a man behind the bar turned, smirked at me, and then looked away. Literally, no one had spoken to me and I didn't see a menu anywhere. I turned to another employee who was sitting at the bar but appeared to be one of the staff. She gave me the same smirk (!). Before experiencing any additional rudeness, I turned and walked out. I really wanted to like this place, mainly because I love Indian food and always like to try a new place. There are several reasons why I would consider this place disgusting. 1. On a Sunday afternoon, I was down at UC for a club soccer game. The restaurant was very slow, possibly about 12 customers total. Even though the place wasn't busy, there were no plates available for the buffet. We waited about 5 minutes for plates to appear. The worker brought 7 plates out, 2 of them still had food on them and weren't washed properly. Throughout the meal, we'd see them bring 3-4 plates at a time out when they ran out. It's as if they were waiting for the 12 customers to finish eating, then they would wash those particular plates. WTF is that about? Get enough plates to serve your customers. IKEA has a lot of really cheap/suitable options. 2. Because of the above issue, there were patrons taking used plates up to the buffet. When dishing out food, they would hold the used plate above the food containers. This is very unsanitary and the reason buffets ask you to use a clean plate each time. Customers doing this isn't an action that the restaurant can control, but it was caused because they weren't keeping up with the apparent shortage of dinnerware on a slow Sunday afternoon (again, 12 customers). 3. The buffet food was... meh. The spices are dumbed down/Americanized, so really not a good example of Indian food. The cabbage dish was overcooked and mushy. The naan was undercooked and doughy. The Basmati rice was overcooked and sticky. The Tandoori chicken was flavorless, as was the chicken in every dish there. 4. The restrooms were gross. Even a little bit of cleaning would take the piss smell out of the air. Bottom Line: The food is edible, but so is dog food. I have no idea how this place rates so high. read more

We just had our 3rd visit here this past Tuesday (4/19). The first time we tried it, in early 2015, I really loved the different Ethiopian menu items (more than any other Ethiopian restaurant in Cincinnati) and the food was hot/delish. Downside - service was sloooowwww. It took 15 min to just get our drinks and forever for food. The next time (maybe 5 - 6 months later) I brought my mom and her husband to try it again, hoping that it was just opening pains. Again, really slow service and we had to ask multiple times for a water refill but still, really good food. I was craving Ethiopian earlier this week and figured we'd give it one last shot. Walked in at 7pm and there was 1 other table and one gentleman sitting at the bar. Uh oh, kind of a bad sign but we figured that maybe it was Spring Break or Finals week so that's why they weren't as busy. I will say, service this time was quick and efficient. It was a female (I think of Indian origin) and she was super friendly and really great about bringing refills and taking our order - no complaints there. We started with the beef sambussas which were the highlight of our meal. Really nicely spiced. The con was that there were cold in the middle but perfectly fried on the outside. So the meat filling/sambussas are probably pre-made and just fried to order. That's perfectly fine, but maybe try making slightly skinnier sambussas or leaving them in longer to get the middle hot? Reviewing their menu, it looks like they revamped & pared it down. The menu online does not match the revamped menu they have in the restaurant. I thought about just ordering 2 meat + 1 vegetable dish but we decided to try the meat combo which was supposed to be: Gomen be Siga (mild lamb stew prepared with collard greens), Key Wot (hot and spicy beef stew served with injera) and Tibs (which was described as ribeye beef sauteed). We definitely got 2 beef dishes but did not get the Siga? Instead, we received a fish dish (I wouldn't have ordered it if I knew fish was going to come with it). The dish had fish, peppers and tomatoes. The other beef dish also had peppers and tomatoes. Super disappointing to not even get what we ordered? Plus the flavor of the dishes wasn't close to what we had received previously. So I don't think we'll be back. In the beginning, this place suffered from bad/slow service (which is why we didn't visit often) but the food was really good. Unfortunately, the service has improved but the food isn't as tasty as it used to be and apparently they just randomly give you different dishes? For us, they're further drives but we'll stick with Emanu or Habesha. read more

Clifton area has multiple Indian restaurants but Elephant Walk Injera & Curry House definitely fills a gap in Clifton, not only with the Indian food they serve but most importantly thanks to the delicious Ethiopian options they offer. I've eaten there multiple times and tried several dishes (most of which are from the Ethiopian side of their menu). Every time I visited the restaurant, I had a great experience. The service is quick and attentive even on a packed Saturday night. The servers are knowledgeable about the food and are ready to answer any questions. I usually like trying new appetizers every time I go, and I highly recommend sambosas. I am not a vegetarian but I really don't miss the meat when it comes the main dishes Elephant Walk offers. I prefer their shrimp tibs or vegetarian platter which are both served with spongy, sour and delicious injera. The portion sizes are big which allows me to enjoy the food the next day! I think this place is a gem in Clifton area and I hope they stay open and busy! read more

While there are a great deal of Indian places to choose from in Clifton, Elephant Walk does not disappoint! I cannot vouch for their Ethiopian menu, as I have never tried it, but their Northern Indian menu is great! The dishes have a lot of flavor, and their spice level is on point. They also have one of the better lunch buffets. The buffet food is never very spicy, but it's still flavorful and has a wide variety. Sometimes service can be a little slow, but I've never had to wait terribly long. I'd definitely recommend it! read more

We couldn't resist comparing Elephant Walk to Emanu for Ethiopian food in Cincinnati- and it was well worth it! The restaurant itself is nice, with a good amount of tables and booths. We weren't surprised to find it nearly empty on a chilly Sunday at 5PM. The food was, as other Yelpers mentioned, incredible- the pictures don't really do it justice. I would definitely say that Elephant Walk is on the same level as Emanu when it comes to food (and the combination platter is the best option they have so you can try a little bit of everything). However, our food came out incredibly quickly, so that was an improvement on Emanu's slower service. Elephant Walk loses a star for me for service (normally it would be 2 but the food was SO good!). After we were seated, it was a while before our server came back, openly admitting that he had forgotten about us. I told him what we wanted and tried to make sure we were on the same page because it sounded like he was thinking something different- I wanted to try the mixed meat/veggie platter, but we ended up with the meat only platter, so I didn't get to try the sides I was really hoping for. Tips: Service isn't the best, so come prepared for that. If you're ordering the combination platter, make sure you're getting the one you really want- next time I may resort to pointing. The meat platter was great, but I will be heading back again to try the veggies, too. Try a combination platter, especially if you've never had Ethiopian before- it's a good way to get introduced to the cuisine.
