Elephant Car Wash - Prices went up. - Car Wash Near Me - Covington, Washington

Absolute WASTE of my MONEY!!! I purchased their most expensive service. - It does not remove dirt! - It does not remove bugs! - Microfiber drying towels became filthy!!! Do not be fooled by flashing lights. It is a distraction that has nothing to do with cleaning a vehicle. Avoid this place like the plague!!! No quality. ZERO value! read more

Not worth $11. It's fast, and open 24 hours and does a decent ENOUGH job.. but those are it. Leaves streaks doesn't rinse all the way. And they wash with dirty water read more

Elephant Car Wash - Leaves streaks after rinsing - Car Wash Near Me - Covington, Washington

after paying the works car wash the car wash seemed to be squirting everything the way it was supposed to but somehow my car came out still dirty and the rinse did not have enough water to finish so it was very covered in soap as well. I couldn't find a place where there was a person to Is notify to get reimbursed at at least.. I hope they repair it soon and maybe reach out with a voucher to reimburse me for having a is having a soap covered car and wasted my time. Just about to pull the cover off of my exterior faucet to try and squirt some of this soap off In my driveway. It really was not safe to drive with that much soap on my windows! read more

I had to pay twice because the first time it did not do the wash cycle for some reason it did not have any water. It did the tri-coat and even after the wash there wasn't any spot free rinse either. After my first wash was done I moved to a different washbay and just did the cheap basic wash to rinse off the tri coat foam that was left on my car. There was no attendant present to get a refund or get my second wash done so I had to pay twice. I will definitely not come here again. read more

100% completely done with this place. The last 2 times I've gone through the water doesn't spray correctly and the "tri colour" has been one colour short, or 2 at this last and final time. If one pays for festive unicorn soap, festive unicorn soap shall be received!! The last time was basically unicorn pee. The non-touch option is great and all, but you're probably not going to get what you paid for when you go here. read more

Elephant Car Wash - Where's the fun tri-coloured unicorn soap?!? This is unicorn pee at best! - Car Wash Near Me - Covington, Washington

Exactly what you pay for minus the anxiety of possibly hitting the car in front of you like other car wash places. I would definitely wash my car here again. Prices are fair and the process isn't long at all. read more

This is your basic touchless car wash. It's convenient when you don't have the time to hand wash your own car. You have four options of wash, which you pay before you get into one of the bays. This place does get quite busy so I recommend coming by early in the mornings. This place get a lot of business because there are no other close options nearby. I used to come here quite often and it does a decent job of getting my car clean until recently. I noticed there was still quite a bit of soap on my car that didn't get washed off. I'm glad I always bring a chamois with me to dry my car with. I initially attributed the leftover soap to a possible issue with one of their bays. I come back again and have the same issue. I doubt I'll be bringing my car back here again. It was convenient when I don't have the time to wash my car but it's not worth the money I'm paying to have soap all over my car when I leave the place. read more

Ain't too bad of a car wash joint. Self-wash bay and vacuum area. Need to use Tokens. Pretty spacious and easy to use. Seems like a lot of people go here to use this service. Reasonable and user friendly. Decent place to get your car cleaned up, inside and out if you're around the local area. read more

We wasted $15 at this car wash which left soap all over our F150. The water pressure is ridiculousy weak and only does one pass of water instead of 2. When we pulled out of the bay, we still had foam and soap on the truck. If only I'd read the reviews beforehand... What a complete waste of money. read more

This is my go to place. I like it that it is brushless so it doesn't scratch my paint job like the others. Kinda of pricey, but they have opinions since they have 4 packages $8, $10, $12 & $15. Depending on what service you want included. I always get the $15 because I want it all. But it depends on which Bay you pick. Some bays have higher PSI than others so it cleans better. When u go to car wash I expect my car to be clean and not spotty. Talk to couple of the workers there and they would recommend the best Bay which I'm not disclosing since I don't want a long line for that Bay. Lol read more

Not good at all. Paid $13 to do nothing to this car. The fans didn't completely dry us off so there are still water spots ALL over the windows. It didn't rinse off all of the soap, and on the bottom half of the doors it is still extremely dirty. Extremely angry to pay $13 that I could spend on something much more valuable for only a dirty car. Do not go here. read more

I've taken both of my cars here several times. Every time, I've been very disappointed and won't be wasting my money here anymore. The touch free machines are worn out or not working at all and sometimes they don't even dispense all that much of the soaps that you pay good money for (eg the pre soak or the tri color). The rinse is not thorough and the air dryer has an extremely short time limit on it so after you drive away, the soap dries up on your paint and leaves streaks on top of the dirt that didn't get cleaned off. Wheels? Forget it, they hardly get cleaned at all. I would not recommend this wash if you want your car to be clean. read more

The wash was thorough, smelled good, and has a covered vacuuming area! I would recommend it!

Literally the worst car wash I have ever been too and it looks fancy and new. Third time through and more disappointed then the last two times. Just left a message for the number listed and want my money back. Car is filthy and was just washed at dealership Sunday and it's Wednesday and went through to show the shine for in laws on new truck. Bad decision... said to my fiancé pulling out of driveway should go to maple valley but this is so much closer!!! Bad decision. Flush your money down the toilet instead of going here. Update: called and was offered a voucher which I kindly refused don't need to waste my time not getting my car clean read more

When it works- its great. It would be ideal if they had someone on site performing maintenance. Stall #1 has not worked properly for over a year. There is rarely receipt paper. There is usually 1 thing wrong with the stall I chose. $17 for a wash would be okay if you are getting what is promised! read more

For every complaint that are written about the bad washes. I want say as a former maintenance and attendant they are all true. I was told and I qoute " Don't take that tone with me" end qoute. Then I knew the Elephant car wash great company I knew was gone. This has to be the worst piece of shit of a car wash in Washington! What a total rip off! Today I wanted to get my Mothers Lexus washed due to a bird crapping on her car. The prices keep increasing and the car wash is still unable to clean a vehicle. I paid $17 for the best car wash that they sell and my car came out dirty. Another issue that I had was that none of the tri foam sprayed. Every time I try this car wash I become more frustrated because the machines always have issues. When you reach out to the customer support they will offer you a new code so that you can go back to the broken carwash. Thanks for the offer but I will just work with my credit card company to get my money back. read more

Time for the soap and air way too short. Your car will have soap and water. Not coming back

The machine took $16 cash but it doesn't provide car wash. The one besides me was working but I didn't want to put another $16. I took vid and photo just incase. I called the office no answer i left a VM. It's been a week now nobody is calling me to resolve it. Also there was zero attendant that time. The one time there was an attendant.. it was an older man and was hitting on me telling me his problem with his wife or ex wife. It's disgusting. It's the closest to costco covington so whenever i see that the old man is not there i use elephant car wash just because it's convenient but what happened on jan 15, fri at 5-5:45 pm is the worst and a waste of my precious time. read more

Gets really busy at times. There is never a person around when something happens, like not getting the right amount of change back or having the coin machine eat the $10 bill like it's nothing. It never gets the car clean, and we've stopped going here. Obviously not maintained - at all. Typically, at least one of the washes is out of service, and the last time I went by the spray arms were so misaligned in one of the washes that I opted to leave for fear of damaging my car. read more

Not what it used to be. When the car wash was new I remember it doing a great job. Took my Explorer through today and it's clear the equipment has not aged well. I frequently visit this car wash that opened in Covington. Two dollars minimum to start and that yields 3 minutes. Lack of hot water and soft water rinse for a new facility is unforgivable. I can't understand why these two features found anywhere else in the country is unavailable at any Seattle area car wash. So today I'm writing because **twice** now that I've visited the self service car wash while drying off my car, some helpless driver has gotten stuck in the same automatic touchless bay when the system has malfunctioned and shut down. This leaves the vehicle unable to exit because the entrance bay doors are closed and the spray arms halt right in front of the vehicle. You read right, that's twice now on random visits. I've now had to disrupt my time to help two complete strangers try and find an exit plan. We search around the building looking for a phone number. Where is it? Could you put the number in the bays perhaps? "In case of emergency or problem, please call 253-xxx-xxxx"? Is that too much to ask? After walking around back to the payment touch screen, the impatient driver who already paid and waiting his turn has found it...on the screen! Well that doesn't help the person who's already stuck in the bay call for assistance. She told me she called 911 to complain. Way to go Pink Elephant for wasting taxpayer money because of a malfunction and lack of guidance. I hate those automatic touchless bays anyway. $14 for a premium wash that has absolutely no pressurized strength to get average road film off. And the cycles are short! SO, you end up with a wet dirty car. I once asked for a refund, and the onsite tech guy just gave me a 2nd pass thru. It was still terrible and that's why I stick to the self serve bays with ice cold water. At least I can wipe off the remaining dirt with my microfiber towels. read more
