While I have not had the problems with the non-touchless car wash some others have, I have a huge issue with their business practices. I signed up for their unlimited top-end package about 4 months ago and was told it was easy to cancel online. Today, due to unforeseen budget issues, I am looking to cancel a few subscriptions and Glint is one of them. I tried going to their website on multiple browsers and clicking the contact us button which is how their automated phone system says you have to cancel any subscription. It tells me I have to select a location, but there is no way to select a location when it takes you to the locations page. The only clickable thing on the page is the services offered at the site and that just takes you back to the locations list. There is literally no way to cancel this service as there is no one to answer a phone and the website offers no way to manage your account online. I would use this service on a pay per visit basis but NEVER use their subscription service as it is impossible to manage or cancel. Update: The form was not loading unless I used an incognito window in Google Chrome. I am not sure the cause, but I was finally able to get the form to load. I am still not giving 5 stars as I believe that there should be an online account where I can manage my subscription without relying on just an email via a webform. Suggested Feature Improvements: - An online portal where I can manage the account. - A family type subscription where you can subscribe for 2,3,4, etc cars with a small discount for multiple cars. - An eventual upgrade to a touchless car wash. read more

I traveled twice to the carwash (25 Miles roundtrip) to deal with the matter...first time the manager-in-training did not know how to proceed. The second time the manager made out an incident report, told me I would be contacted within five days. It has now been over a month. Glad we have a place around the corner. However...I was expecting a bit more than just a drive through the brushes kind of car wash. We paid the highest tier to get washed, went through, I even posted photos. You get a token to vacuum your own car, and the dryer dries your car. Typical gas station type of car wash. So disappointing! I was hoping it would be like the car wash places I've been to in SoCal. As a matter of fact we drove to SoCal last week, had to get our filthy car washed after 25 hours on the road. We found a yelp high rated place in Redondo Beach CA. We paid the exact same price as Glints. We asked for the highest tier. The difference...before the wash they vacuumed, at the end of the bubble wash they wiped down inside, and outside, including wiping the tires. You can even add Fragrance if you want. I've been too spoiled to real car washes that's affordable, and I don't mind giving a big tip to the hard workers shining up my car. Went through the car wash on 9/5. The spinning brush some how popped open my Gas cap cover it got ripped off and in doing so, dented my car while the brush was spinning and pushing the door hinge against the body of the car, It also made a scratch above my tail light as well. I've already spoken to the assistant manager and filled out the damage claim. I have not heard back from anyone and its been over a week since filing. I cannot find any way to get a hold of anyone on the phone. Its all automated. Very frustrating read more

I bought their membership wash, when through the wash a couple of times. After a few wash, I started to notice 1 of my rims were all scratched up. I know for sure I did not hit any cubs and the marks don't look like cub rash. During 1 time when I was going through the wash, I heard a strange noise but didn't think much of it. Looking at the marked scratches, I realized it was from the conveyor pulling on my rims which would caused my rims to be damaged like this. Went back to the wash and told them about it. They gave me a claim number and said they will look at the cameras. Later to find out their cameras system was very blurry and they only have footages dating back a couple of weeks. In the end, they rejected my claim because they could find anything and gave me a couple of blurry pictures. Very disappointed in this place and will never come back read more

Finally got to try this car wash place out and had such high hopes. Just to be disappointed in every way. Price to get the best car wash costed $19 which I would never complain about. But- your car still comes out dirty! The back window and tailgate of our brand new Ford Edge were covered in dirty after we went through it. Employees that helped at the ticket booth were friendly and helpful. I will say that it's way better thank the Pink Elephant in Covington. Pink Elephant has a touch less car washing system that can't even take off bird crap!!!! read more

I'm going to start by saying I am glad my tires were from Les Schwab. I went through this car wash for the 1st and only time ever using their services. When I came out of the car wash my tires said low pressure. I didn't think anything of it until I saw a large size bolt which looks like it probably fell off from the d*** machine inside the car wash went through my whole tire. That was very disppointing. When I called they just blew it off. I was not looking for anything free. I just wanted them to know. If I PAY you and you cannot get the job done. Why have you mess it up for free? Lol NO THANK YOU! Today I used the car wash due o birds taking target practice on my car. The car wash failed tremendously to clean off the bird poop. It looked as if the right side of the car wasn't washed at all. The employees at Glint car wash were very helpful and they were able to get my car looking good as new. Their customer service is very friendly, as soon as you pull up you're greeted with a smile. Everyone from the workers in the car wash to the owner are outgoing and communicative. I would recommend others to use this wash. read more

I started coming here recently and it's been a good place for vacuuming. That changed as time went on because the vacuum tube started folding in areas so it would cut the flow of the vacuum and it wasn't able to create any suction and nothing would be picked up. The only way to have it work is to hold the tube unbent with one hand and do the vacuuming with the other. This is extremely ineffective and more of a hassle. Another issue was the tube mouth pieces would come off in some stations and had to repeatedly place it back on and then hold it down to the tube to be able to get any vacuuming done. Now I should've said something but I thought since they seem high end, they'd do regular maintenance. I came back months later and still the vacuums we're having issues left and right. And this time, it was multiple. So overall I think if the maintenance was kept, this place would easily be a 5 star location. And next, I used the car wash for the first time two days ago and wow I was disappointed. They have a machine-led process where you put your car in neutral and the machine takes it through the wash cycles. Seems fancy and flashy. I was so excited. Until I checked my car and there was so much dirt and stains everywhere. Some places the wipes don't reach so they look like they're not washed but water just thrown on it. Told the workers and they said I can get another one so I was thankful. With high hopes I checked the car after and there was soap still on it to be highly noticeable. I'm the car as well was green soap still which was not there from the previous wash. Overall this technology is not very effective at doing the job. I got the medium intensity cycle for 15$ and the result was not worth it in the least. I won't be using this car wash again unless it gets an upgrade. I went home and hand washed the unwashed parts and the car looked splendid. The only reason I gave two stars was because the staff is extremely great and friendly. I see them respond with urgency to questions or any help needed. Honestly a strong staff currently. read more

Seemed like it was kind of rushed like they sprayed little detergent real late, wash seemed minimal then drying came to late and was also minimal. I'm in the car wash right now beyond annoyed. I pulled in, there's a truck in the left lane and one car in front of me waiting for instructions on which lane to enter. There's two employees directing traffic. Turns out the truck in fhe left lane is too large for the car wash and needs to back out. No problem. We get directed to the far right to allow him out. So now I am the 2nd in the queue. Car behind me hops back to the left lane. No big deal. I know the employees know who's next The employee helping the car in front of me takes a solid 4 mins to help the car in front of me. I watch as 5 cars that arrived after me, go in. So after she finally finished and I know she's gonna help me next. Nope. She goes to the other lane. I tell her because I was courteous with the truck I've had to wait and should be next. She snaps "I have to help them!". You mean the 9th car to arrive after me? I just woosah'd. I can't leave so I just exhale. When she finally comes to help me she has a terrible attitude. Practically threw my card at me and definitely dropped my vacuum token on the side of my seat. No sorry. Just cut her eyes at me and walked away. I would give them -5 stars if I could, Don't get a membership at Glint Car Wash at any location because they will never let you cancel your membership even though when you sign up they tell you "it's super easy to cancel", after 2 months of requesting to cancel on their website and numerous times of trying to call two of their phone number with no answer, I had to finally called my credit card company to just have them deny all payments. First time at this car wash today since I'm from out of town and just visiting family here in Covington. When I pulled up, I told the attendant it was my first time there and she was very thorough in explaining the different car wash package options and answering my questions. You receive a token to use the vacuums after the wash which is part of the package. Car wash itself was ok. It did a good job of washing away most of the dirt and bugs but still had dirt along the roof railing. In and out of the car wash including 5 minute vacuum in about 20 min. read more

This place has been a huge let down for real. The pricing seemed awesome and I quickly thought to myself well this car wash is literally a brand new facility so obviously the cars are gonna get nice and clean because everything is brand new. How could the quality of washing not be top notch? Brand new place and great prices, what could go wrong? Well, I was naïve to think that new means quality in this situation. I bought 3 of the monthly premium memberships for all 3 of my cars but quickly realized that my 1991 Jeep Wrangler came out every time honestly looking worse then when it went in because at least when its dirty its all dirty and when i clean it myself, its all clean, but just having clean with dirty spots in every corner and on every surface around the car looks horrible. my 2006 ford explorer doesn't come out of it looks all that much better. Never clean around the side mirrors mirrors and a couple other places. Now my 3rd vehicle which is a newer and very rounded vehicle usually turns out not bad except for one thing. My first 2 vehicles have black rims, so they look nice after the car wash but my third vehicle has chrome type rims and every time with the premium wash membership, it comes out with that blackish crap all over which is hard to remove. So it seems that one way or another this place just falls short. I will though admit that the vacuums are the best and the fact that they give you a token each time for the vacuums is awesome. They get props for that, however after washing my car I don't usually want to vacuum. I always prefer to vacuum and then wash but maybe that's just me. and literally every other time the thing doesn't read my plates and a person is always standing right there, which I thought was the entire point of this whole membership was that I could get in and get out quick and easy and not needing to have a person right there every time. That is the part that really annoys me lol. I don't enjoy having to make conversation every time. or having to deal with the non reading plate machine thing every time. NOW AFTER READING EVERYTHING THAT I HAVE JUST WRITTEN, I FIND MYSELF ASKING, NOW WHY IS IT THAT LITERALLY EVERY SINGLE TIME I HAVE EVER BEEN TO A BROWN BEAR CAR WASH ITS BEEN FAST, EASY, AND ENJOYABLE!? AND MY CARS ALL LOOK GREAT TOO. Somehow Brown Bear never misses and I'm not even really sure what's so different about there facilities honestly. I've been a member since they first started after consuming the 3-free car washes this business has sent out to the community! I had a chance encounter with one of the owner (seemingly) as I was dying out the excess water making sure it wouldn't leave any mark on the surfaces. I find the owner caring and friendly. The staffs do their best in performing their tasks. my membership has unlimited car wash/month. My car comes out clean although my side mirror always close from the amount of force of the brush that go through, but, they adjust what needs to be adjusted as they noticed one. The drying is strong enough, but, not as perfect just like any other car wash, thus, I always bring paper wipes. The tires comes out shiny as well! Overall, Glint Car Wash is a great value as compared to others! I am satisfied, and, looking forward to their expansions! read more

I've tried this car wash on three separate occasions. Each time my front and rear windshields are still dirty. You can still see where the windshield wipers don't hit the windshield due to the dirt. Other car wash places give your front and rear windshields a scrub with a brush before entering the wash. Really unfortunate because it's a convenient location, but doesn't do a good job. Giving two stars because the staff that helps you at the payment kiosk is friendly. read more
