They lack froyo shops here. I was skeptical since the one place I tried previous was not only outrageously expensive, but their froyo was disgusting. We came in on a cold bitter day and I was surprised how good their froyo was! I had their Alpine Vanilla which was delicious, creamy and the flavor was subtle, but my favorite was their Pomegranate Raspberry Sorbet. Wasn't too tart or too sweet... it was absolutely perfect. The fun part is all about dressing up your froyo with some goodies. I went with fresh sliced strawberries, rainbow mochi balls, some kind of chewy gummies and gum drops (they turned rock hard swimming in my froyo) and granola. They had a pretty good variety to choose from and the girl working there was very nice. She didn't mind me practically trying every flavor before deciding :) This shop is clean, staff is great and best of all they do not charge an arm and a leg! My husband, son and I noticed a new place a couple of weeks ago while visiting the Puyallup Farmer's Market. They weren't quite open but they were handing out samples along with a business card...eligible for 5 free ounces. A couple of weeks later, we finally had time to walk over for a visit. Somehow, we missed the grand opening...I had been following them on Twitter but didn't see a tweet sharing that they had opened. When we arrived (it was a 70 degree evening), the place was PACKED...this is a good sign. This was a unique (to me) frozen yogurt place...it's self serve with a TON of toppings. I didn't see a price per ounce but my husband thought he saw something less than $.50 an ounce. I had the raspberry pomegranate and it was delicious. Our 13 month old son enjoyed it too! The majority of the flavors that they had available had artificial and natural flavors, which is disappointing. I don't know why this area lacks establishments that have natural and full flavored foods. It's not hard to serve an ice cream or froyo that doesn't have additives and is still tasty and full flavored. The space is clean and there are plenty of topping options, but besides that, I'm less than impressed. read more

Great place but it was crazy busy when we were there which made it a little uncomfortable. If you don't like the crowds don't go Friday night. But if you like a $5 deal for all you can fill in a cup than maybe it's worth the crowds. read more

I have to admit that I was skeptical of this place before coming. I mean, I am from Southern California, we invented frozen yogurt. So, when I was told by our dear Washington friends that they wanted to take us to get frozen yogurt at this "great place," in the middle of a multiple day rain storm in suburban Seattle, I thought, "Oh, how cute. I will play along" The place feels brand new and has a very nice, modern air about it. I was diggin the vibe, from the moment we walked in. Then, I started to become intrigued when I saw all the multiple choices of toppings to choose from. This place puts Yogurtland to shame. The most exciting part, though, was looking at their flavors. I mean, Red Bull flavored yogurt? And, yes, it tastes just like RB, which I happen to like. Every flavor I tried was good, but then the real kicker... THE BEST frozen yogurt I have ever had occurred today, in this location - cake batter. Holy moly! There is NO WAY this is yogurt. It was so flipping' rich and creamy. To die for. So, I loaded up my cup with many flavors and toppings, and went heavy on the Cake Batter. And, had a moment in this random, suburban yogurt store; on a day when most people wouldn't dream of eating something cold. That old adage, don't judge a book by its cover, rang true for me today. You get to choose a cup size and then can fill your cup with whatever flavor of frozen yogurt you like followed by any number of toppings you want... and there are a ton of toppings to choose from! And to help you decide what flavor of frozen yogurt to choose, you can try small samples of all the flavors. Once you've created your tasty frozen yogurt concoction, you take it to the counter to have it weighed, and that's how they determine how much your specific cup of frozen yogurt heaven costs. They have red bull flavored frozen yogurt. If that sounds like you're thing... this is your new favorite place. If it sounds appalling.... I respect you. Oh, and don't worry, this place is still awesome. The location is right in the middle of downtown and could hardly be beat. I had been watching the store get ready to open with eager anticipation. Well, somehow I missed opening weekend, but I made up for it this past weekend. After a trip to the farmers market on Saturday I headed over and enjoyed cookies and cream with chocolate- pretty amazing. Later that night I brought my best friend back this time she got the cookies and cream with chocolate and I enjoyed the strawberry with pom/raspberry and fresh berries. I was back again on Sunday after our softball game. Yep, 3x in one weekend. Each visit has been better than the last. The staff is friendly, the store clean, the music fun, and I love people watching (on the weekends there are weddings across the street). The best part was our adorable Elements worker that offered an amazing fresh raspberry sauce she had made- yum! She and the other staff took great pride in their store and as a result I think they have a great product. I love froyo and when I visit California I like to go every day. Cute yogurt shop right across the street from the Puyallup Park! I didn't like how they limit your sample cups to only two. I found that a little off putting. I understand you don't want people coming in and trying too much free ice cream and not buy anything, but we spent almost 20 dollars here, in the end, and I would have liked to be able to taste more than two flavors. I also wished they had more fruit based flavors. They only had one fruit flavor which was passion fruit. The flavor was good but the texture was too icy. The tart flavor, which I thought would taste more like the yogurt I was looking for, ended up tasting like plain Greek yogurt. I ended up with cake batter and cheesecake, both of which were delicious, but I was really craving taro or another fruity flavor instead of a sweeter one. More fruity options would be great! They also have a lot of toppings. The variety of the toppings is vast. Some are on the wall and behind the topping bar. I couldn't find some of the toppings because they weren't with the others, so I was confused for a second but ended up finding them. If they were all together this would be a little easier so customers don't have to keep going back and forth finding toppings. Other than that, the shop was very clean and had a nice area, both inside and outside to sit. We walked across the street to the park and sat in the grass at the park. Finally Puyallup gets a Froyo place. No more going out to the Tacoma Mall to get Froyo. This is centrally located in downtown, across from the park underneath City Hall. Great location! Anyways this kind of your typical froyo place, You get your containers and you load up. Interesting choices for frozen yogurt including Red bull Froyo. Standard fruit/candy toppings. Pricing is a little high, but you save gas money not having to go to Tacoma/Olympia. The staff is friendly enough and very energetic. Four stars, plus 1 star for location. read more

Once in awhile, a business will come in that just makes you appreciate the small community of a town. Elements Frozen Yogurt did definitely not disappoint. Located in quintessential part if downtown Puyallup, Elements provides a fun and safe atmosphere with great yogurt! It's self serve, with lots of usual and unique flavors that everyone you go with will find what they're looking for. Also, they're are and endless amount of fruit and toppings just to add a little something extra to your treat. The service is superb, you're always greeted when you enter and you leave and are always happy to help you. They also have a Wii for teens to come and play after school in a safe and fun atmosphere. Since the change in ownership, my husband and I have visited Elements twice and we will not be going back. This is very sad as we used to have Sunday night dinner most weeks during the summer. The reason we will not go back is simply because the frozen yogurt is not good. It is icy and runny. It is not creamy and decadent. LOVE and ADORE Elements. Owners are the nicest people, the vibe is fun and friendly, the flavors are ever-changing, and the prices are great. I love the Lemon, but it doesn't come back too often. They always suggest awesome combos on their FB page though (like cheesecake flavored fro-yo with fresh strawberries and graham cracker crumbles... genius!) They have great sugar-free and non-dairy flavors, as well as milkshakes and smoothies! AWESOME selection of toppings, too. Parking is street only, which sucks. But, at least it's a one-way street. When a business owner responds to a 3 star review asking to open a dialogue about what could have been better and asking for more feedback on the experience that earned the 3 star review it tells me a lot about the owners and the quality of the business they want to run. This happened with Elements and not only did we have a great conversation but they sincerely wanted input to make sure they could offer the best possible frozen yogurt spot available for our mouths to enjoy. I've been back twice since my initial review and have to say that first time was a one off experience in comparison. My second trip in found me walking through a child's birthday party and the place was packed! I was still greeted by a happy employee behind the counter and was still able to create what may be the greatest tub of frozen yogurt ever! I found a lot of my favorite flavors available this day and all of the toppings were overflowing even though there was obviously a lot of traffic making use of them. My third trip found me partaking in Elements when there were just a few other small groups inside. It was much more mellow inside this visit but the employee was still friendly and greeting clients as they entered. The flavors were still great and there was a good amount of variation and options to choose from. If you want dessert type flavors (chocolate and the like) or fruit flavors they had them in spades. The toppings were still full and ready to explode onto our yogurt. I'm quite happy to say that Elements has earned their 5 star rating unlike most any other business I've rated to date. They put in the extra effort and made sure they earned their score while continuing to offer a great frozen yogurt experience. Great job, guys! I'm a fan! read more

I like this local froyo. Their hours are awesome and the staff is super friendly. My favorite is cake batter and it must be everyone else's since they always have it. I never get toppings but it looks like their selection is pretty good. However the yogurt here gives me freeze brain real easily and melts quickly. I love thier location, I really love their hours. I liked this place a lot, the flavors and the options are plenty, and really good. I would love to see marshmallow topping. This place gets messy fast, so I really hope that they get extra help this summer, because messy, is a real turn off for me. I've been in there a few times in just the past few weeks, and I usually order something for my whole family and we leave, it was not until the last visit that someone mentioned their "stamp card/reward program", and it was by accident, she asked if I was someone else, and when I asked her why, she told me about their reward program, and I was SO UPSET. I've been there so many times, and nobody ever told me anything about it, she told me that I should have read about it from their window, or information on their tables. I walk in and place my order for a smoothie and the employee tells me she can't make it for me right away because she has to take care of the customers that came after me that are buying froyo.
