OK! I love this place. Great location ( close to both work and home and it's affordable. I've been under a lot of stress lately due to both home and work; the amount of stress i was carrying caused a LOT of painful tension in my upper back, shoulders and neck area. I'm talking the kind of pain that made it unbearable to climb out of bed. I decided to try a massage in hopes it will help relieve the pain. The reviews for Elements lead me to give them a try. The ladies at the front desk were very sweet and welcoming. Todd was the gentleman who gave me my my massage. He is a MIRACLE worker. Please keep in mind that my muscles were sore and the massage came with some pressure- but, in a good way! I was so relaxed on the table and the hot stones i decided to add last minute was good thinking on my part and worked like magic helping to relax my aching muscles. It was the best 80-mins of my life. I left that place relax and pain free. What was even more a bonus i woke up this morning pain free!!! I would definitely recommend this place. I even plan to take advantage of the membership. It's well worth it and one of the most affordable memberships I've come across. read more

Rip off. Received a gift card from a friend who had also scheduled a massage appointment for me and my fiance. The appointment was for the very first appointment of the day (Sunday, 11am). We were also first time customers. I called BEFORE the location opened, left a message stating that we could not make it and that we would like to reschedule. Received a phone call at 10:30am telling me that not only was the appointment cancelled, but my gift cards were charged for the session. Essentially the gift that was given to me was worthless, and Elements has lost two customers before they could even service us. Thanks, Elements, for taking away the value of the gift we received! Makes us feel like you really appreciate your potential customer base. P.S. I called back to talk to the manager, and was told I'd receive a call back after the issue was discussed internally. Never received the return call. UPDATE: 3/14/2014 In response to David's reply to me, I'd like to state the following: NOWHERE on the gift card does it state your cancellation policy, and NOWHERE on your website does it state these intricate requirements to cancel the evening before. I have been a member for years and have always had a great experience. The massage therapists are amazing. But recently I had to terminate my membership and did not have the opportunity to use my massages left within 60 days. So they kept the money. I signed the contract so it's fair,...but a little shady and not practical for those who have to move away or when life just happens. I thought my years of customer loyalty would mean something. I received a gift certificate for Element Massage as a Christmas gift. After my first massage, I became regular member ever since. The staff is extremely professional and accommodating. But best of all, they have the best massage therapist, Alex. I had 2 cervical fusions and I'm in constant pain and Alex is the only therapist that was able to perform a deep enough tissue massage to help release my knots. Alex has been our Massage Therapist for the past several months. He's always friendly, well manner, and courteous even when he worked long hours. We had tried many other massage places before but we could never find someone who can do Deep Tissue Massages like Alex. He's strong which is the MUST for this type of massage and he always knows exactly where all the knots are. We've recommended him to several of our friends and hopefully they will stop by to give him a try. I wish the company can reward someone like Alex a Get Away vacation or something similar so they can take a break. I have heard lots of good things about that place that they have high quality service and professionals. I prefer deep tissue and people recommended Donna, Tracy and Ryan. I had Donna and she was really good. She knows exactly where to press on and how much pressure to use. She was very professional, friendly and worked with passion, experience and knowledge. I had massages at many places across the country: Los Angelas (CA), Pittsburgh (PA), Boston (MA), Acton (MA), Little Rock (AK) and Dallas (TX) and my experience at Elements in West Plano was one of the top 3 best. I agreed with some reviewers. The front desk is horrible with scheduling and understanding the customer's needs. I called in to schedule someone who can work on my deep tissue. I came out very disappointed. They scheduled a therapist who could not perform a deep tissue job. During the massage section, I told the therapist that I need her to work on the deep tissue in my shoulders, but nothing happened, I felt the entire massage session she just lightly rubbed my body instead of going to the deep tissue. After 50 minutes massage, instead of giving me relaxing and relief feeling, I came out with a bad headache. I will not go back this place ever again. Just want to remind others, make sure to get the right therapist. Otherwise, you will waste your time and money. read more

Once my massage FINALLY started everything was fine. The ladies at the front were nice enough, just not very chatty. I realize that they had a job to do, but when I would try to engage them in conversation, they gave short answers. One was fairly new (very sweet), so I understand her not being able to provide much info. My massage was for 11:45 and at noon I asked if I had the wrong time. One of the receptionist went to the back to check and was gone what seemed like a long time. At 12:05 my masseuse comes out the door obviously frazzled. That's not exactly what you want to see when you're expecting an hour of relaxation. It seems there was a miss communication on the time and he thought it started at noon and had just arrived. He showed me to my room and bustled about finishing setting up. It took me a while to decompress and fully enjoy the hour. read more

The massage was fine, but beware that they have staff communication problem. I booked a 90 mins massage and I had to changed to a 60 mins because I had a dental appointment afterwards. I called 24 hours ahead to made the change, and I also told the front desk when I walked in. The massage therapist went ahead and did a 90 mins anyways. Then they turn around and said that they had to charge for 90 mins, I was also charged by my dentist for a late fee, it all because of their inner communication problem. My fault that I did not set an alarm in the massage room to make sure I had only 60mins. This place services however mins they want regardless of your request, and YOU have to paid for it. When something hurts I go to Elements and it's gone after I leave! True magic! All their therapists are great, concentrate on what bothers me and also find issues on their own without me even telling them about it. If you don't like the pressure, you need to tell them instead of suffering the whole time, on the other hand, only with proper pressure you can get correct massage and resolve any tight spots and knots. Elements is a fantastic massage company. They professionally handle your appointments with great consideration of your schedule; they make it easy to schedule. They always treat me well and with genuine smiles that brighten my day. The massage therapists are some of the best I've ever had. I got an offer online for a discounted massage. This really excited me because its been some time since I've had a professional massage done. I was pressured (I felt) into signing up for their Wellness plan -- which I ended up canceling a week later. Then I had to jump through hoops to get my $59 back after they charged me for terminating the Wellness Plan. Total bullshit. The massage therapist I had did NOT ask me if the pressure she used was ok. I was sore when I left. My right arm still hurts 3 weeks after I got the massage. I wouldn't go back here again. The front desk girl is as daft as a brush and the massage therapist (A) wasn't that good. I'll look ELSEWHERE for professional massage without the after-massage pressure to sign up for their perks. read more
