This review is based on my experience with their management/admin and is NOT a reflection of what I think about the therapists. In fact, I only gave it two stars bc I've previously had good massages here. It seems like there is no proper management or customer service at this location. Initially, I signed up for my membership at this location. But a few weeks ago I went to a different location to get a two hour massage. Before I went to this appointment, I logged into the online portal and saw that I had 5 massage credits. Awesome, right?! Well, after I received my massage I get to the desk and they tell me that I no longer have a membership. Confused, I call the Plano location bc that's where I signed up. Apparently they couldn't charge my card and tried calling me ONCE to notify me to change the card. Now, I get texts and emails from Elements all of the time about appointments, availability, etc. but no one bothered to send me any additional communication letting me know that my card wasn't working OR that my account was cancelled. I would think they'd notify you when they cancel your account. There's not even anything saying this when I log in. Mind you, I'd had my membership since 2019 with no issues. You'd think they'd put a bit more effort into retaining a long time member. Oh, and this incident happened about 3 weeks ago and STILL no one from management has called. Extremely disappointing. IF I ever return it'll be to the Allen location where the service and communication is much better. read more

My 5 stars is for the massage therapist, Alex. He does such an amazing job, he listens to what my Concerns are and where I want to focus on. I'm a dental hygienist and am used to getting a massage every other week. My job requires a lot of repetitive movements and sitting, and sometimes bending in unfavorable positions when patients aren't ideal. After my massage I felt like a brand new person. Can't wait to continue to see Alex! As far as the company. I unsubscribed from the emails but have still continued to get them. I don't need all the emails, I don't need to know when someone has an available appt. I have my appts booked 2 months out right now. Hoping when I go in for my next appt they can fix the email spam. read more

You fill out a form when you walk in. You can grab a cup of water while you sit in the comfortable chairs. The front desk will ask if you need to use the restroom before you get started. The restrooms are really clean and everything in the back is dimly lit. The room smelled good, the music was just right, and the massage therapist is a chatty one. Nothing special about the massage as her touch was extremely soft except when it came to my neck as she was trying to work out all my knots. read more

The massage therapist, Lee was AMAZING. Truly wish I could go back, but I never will due to the staff. I woke up sick on the morning of my appointment, I called to cancel and they said they would not let me cancel without a cancellation fee even tho I was ill (stomach virus) so I asked the manager to call me. I never got any missed calls from her OR voicemail but she claims she did call me. I spoke to the receptionist, Nikki who called me 8 minutes before my appointment and told me she gave away my appointment to someone else. I was already in the parking lot and said I never wanted to cancel due to the fee. She didn't care and said my appointment was given away already. I drove 30m to this location bc I thought I was going to be charged. I will never return here. The manager still hasn't called me. Horrible customer service. read more

The massages are ok. However dealing with this franchise generally or this location is a struggle if you make the mistake of buying a membership or gift card. When you're new, and not signed up, they can find an appointment time and tell you if you buy you can go to any location. Once you sign up or buy a gift card for a friend, its almost impossible to get an appointment without booking a week or two in advance. I made the mistake of buying and gifting gift cards from this Frisco location. The offer didn't disclose it was only good at the selling location until the recipient tried to book an appointment - and then insisted that she provide a credit card ti hold the appointment they didn't have then that would be covered by the gift card they sold. By the way, if you buy a membership and you want to see what appointments are available at any particular location while you're hunting to see if anyone has an appointment for the gift card for Membership you have, they don't have a Central app. Instead, you have to go to each individual location website, which requires you to provide your email and sign up before it will let you see the appointment times. Once you do this, she usually fine they don't have that appointment anywhere in the vicinity of the time you want. However, you can expect that you will be spammed incessantly by each individual location. They are opt out compliance is also spotty. I regret buying this because I'm paying a monthly fee for something I can't use. I particularly regret that I was suckered into buying gift cards under the expectation that my recipients would be treated with respect and enjoy the ability to schedule a timely appointment at a convenient location. Scheduling an appointment here or anywhere in this franchise at all is a nightmare. read more

This is my favorite place to get a massage. It took me a few tries, but I found the perfect massage therapist here. Not that the rest of them were bad, but I feel the most comfortable with Jakob. He is a senior at this location, and yes that does mean he costs more, but he is worth every penny. I highly recommend him, but be warned, he books up fast. The only reason I didn't give this place all five stars is that I miss the hot towels they used to hand out, but I understand why they don't. Oh well. Try the hot stones, love them, particularly in the colder months. read more

I came in for a massage because I was given a gift card. When I got there I had to wait maybe 15 minutes before I met with my therapist. She was very nice. She asked me a few questions then left me so I could change. The massage overall was fine. I love a good deep tissue massage but at some of the points she was pulling skin and not so much digging into the muscle. It's been about two days and the back of my neck looks like someone tried to attack me. I have to keep my hair down so no one sees it. Don't get me wrong, I've come out of a deep tissue massage with a few bruises before but this one felt more like an "Indian burn." I will say that most of my pain spots have loosened a bit so she did a good job on them. Overall this is a decent place to go. I think a regular massage without their membership costs around $59. Tracey is the best at my shoulders and I'll be booking an appointment with her whenever I'm traveling back to Dallas. (Just did today). A friend got me a massage to this place which I thought it was was nice and lovely. These people are not capable to treat people with respect. As a new customer I had a lot of questions, which they were half way answered. I asked Nicole about the location and their services, she didn't have much to say about it (first red flag). I cancelled one the appointment because I couldn't make, they reschedule me without any problems. When they reschedule my appointment they should have told about the $45 dollars cancellation fees, which they didn't. My friend who was kind enough to give me one of her sessions; was charged $45 dollars because they send me to the wrong location. Also, they taken a $98 dollars session away from her!!!! Want to waste your time and probably get a friendship destroyed because people can't do their jobs? Go head make an appointment to ELEMENTALS MASSAGE! Zero out of ten would I EVER recommend this establishment. Many times I have come here and they have a homeless man sleeping on the bench in front of the store & he pees on the walls. The front desk girls are absolutely disrespectful and do not care about their customers, they are rude and show no interest in their customers satisfaction. Specifically the one named jaydean she has hung up on me multiple times. Me or my husband can not seem to book an appointment here at all even weeks ahead. I Do not recommend this membership , they raise the prices every few weeks and you can't even use your credits to book an appointment . Extremely difficult to book an appointment. When I inquired about canceling my membership they didn't tell me it would wipe out the 6 months of credits I had. They talked me into just suspending it and didn't tell me that because I had originally signed a termination letter that the prior 6 months of dues were lost. In short I lost about $800. I had a gift certificate so I made an appointment and came in on a rainy Saturday. I was greeted by a cheerful front desk and sat in a comfortable chair in the waiting room. My masseuse asked the usual questions and I quickly undressed and relaxed on the warm table under a blanket. What a nice massage!!!! Relaxing and focused on my neck and back!! A great experience and a great value... Was complaining about some lower back pain to a friend who recommended Elements Massage. My friend is a regular here and has always had positive things to say about the place. My first visit was about a year ago and I have not been disappointed! I have tried a few different therapists (Ryan, Tracy, and Leslie) and couldn't pick a favorite - they have all been excellent and I've left every time feeling relaxed and with no more of that chronic tightness or acute pain. The design of the studio is simple yet stylish. Plus it's very clean, it's in a new building and its location is convenient to other shopping that I need to do. Something else that I appreciate, because my mother is an artist, is that they feature local artists' work which is also for sale. The front desk staff has always been accommodating and its been easy to get an appointment. I've even had the therapist stay late to fit me in when I called in pain. I'm part of their membership program now and take advantage of some of the member specials they run every month. My monthly membership is $59 but any return visits are just $49 for me or my wife. Overall, its been a great experience and a great value every time. You'll love it too! read more

Buyer beware - I have had 3 massages here, and none of the experiences have been good. They will also short-change you on time.... by a lot. I paid for a 60 minute massage and got 43 minutes instead - I made a special point to check the time on my phone immediately before beginning and immediately after ending. My masseuse was not only late but decided to end a lot earlier than the time I had paid for. When I mentioned this to the front desk, they confessed that "only 50 minutes of the 60 minutes massage is actual hands on time"... however, this is stated nowhere on their website, which just says 60 minutes and is misleading.... and regardless of what their policy is about hands on time, I still got approximately 43 minutes. 2 of the massage therapists I've had here have been quite chatty (making it impossible to relax), and another was a bit defensive and impolite when I asked her politely if she might be able to use a bit more pressure. Another didn't even work on all of the body parts I had requested. I gave Elements a chance (3 times in fact!), but their dishonest business policies and mediocre massages and facilities aren't worth the money. I will be joining a different massage program in Plano instead. Avoid this place unless you want to be ripped off or unless you don't mind getting *significantly* less minutes of massage than you are actually paying for! read more

I waited for a call from the manager before posting this: So i scheduled massage with Elements massage a couple weeks ago with a gift card. They said they would call me the day before to remind me. I rescheduled my hair appointment last week for June 11th. Since I didn't get a on the 10th I figured it was next week. So I am sitting here with dye in my hair, and they call me and tell me I had an appt at 1215. I told her i did not get a confirmation call yesterday. She said she understands that but bc I DIDN'T CALL AND CANCEL they had to charge me anyway. So i said i have already paid you so just take that and i am never doing business with you again. I hung up. Then after I calmed down I called back and apologized fro being so rude to the chick and explaining that I did not receive any call from since May 20. The chick I was talking said, "I made that call to you yesterday .Left a message with our 3 hour cancellation policy." I said, "Yes, But I never got the call and my phone records all numbers that call me." What I didn't say is you obviously Called the wrong number (if she called at all) and left a msg for a random person. She said, "I will tell her that you are sorry and let my manager know what happened and she will call you." What an unprofessional way to do business. At LEAST make sure that you are making confirmation calls. If they had done their job we all would've been happy and they would have gained a great customer. SMH Net: Never prepay for anything, Elements massage hires great and nice professional massage therapists. The front office is organized for crap I don't know if they lied or just called the wrong # but I do know that I DID NOT and have not gotten a call from them since May 20th. read more

I had a massage on 01/14/17. I was referred here by a friend that uses Tracy but she was unavailable at the time I could go. The receptionist asked if I wanted a deep muscle tissue massage and I concurred so she set me up with another therapist. The check in procedure was fine and I filled out my paperwork. I circled the areas on the Anatomy chart that I needed to be worked on as well as wrote why next to it. I needed Left Pectoral muscle, sub-scapula in back, lower back from degenerative disc disease and trap areas. I explained to the therapist that I quit going to my previous therapist because she couldn't apply enough pressure anymore. I needed a deep muscle tissue massage. I explained again what areas were of concern for me. Needless to say I enjoyed the conversation with the therapist, however this was the weakest so called massage I ever have had and I sure don't need to pay anyone to have a conversation with. This was more like a basic pat down with minimal pressure. After the massage was over they give you a small recommendation card, funny thing was it had the EXACT same areas circled that I circled on the chart before the lame massage was done. It also recommended medium to- firm pressure which Is not what I asked for when I booked the appointment and not what I asked for during the consultation before it began. Obviously they were not paying attention to what the customer asked for at all. When I went to pay they offered me a package to sign up for with a discount if I liked the massage. Guess what I did ? I paid for the massage, said thanks and left. No way in the world am I going to pay one more dime when they cant even give me what I asked for the first time. This was a complete waste of time and money for me. I have better results using my foam roller at home for 15 minutes !! read more

I've been to this location a handful of times. Each time I've had a good experience. I visited this past Friday and had Garcetta as my masseuse...OH MY GOODNESS. If I could've taken her home with me, I would've. She was AMAZING! Very professional. Really sweet. She kept me informed on what the next steps were before taking action. The amount of pressure she applied was perfect!! Probably the best massage I've ever had. I'll definitely be going back and requesting her. My senior massage therapist talked to me about getting checked for breast cancer as she was working on my shoulder blade. When I replied that I had mammograms every year she said " they are not reliable" this has really bothered me because she is not a medical professional. She should not be giving anyone this kind of advice. This was my first and last time to go to this place. Mammograms are are the best detection for women to use yearly and I hate to think that she is saying these kind of things and someone might believe her. read more

I would like to preface this with; most of the massage therapists are great. The issue is with the front desk. Laura appears to be a very withdrawn person giving the appearance of non-caring. She isn't very personable. To top that off, she is absolutely horrible with scheduling. Which is her only job. You had one job Laura! More times than I can count, my wife and I have shown up to a massage that was scheduled a month in advance, confirmed and then added to our own calendars while standing there at the front desk and been told that we weren't scheduled. Or my wife was scheduled and I was not, or vise-versa. This time we had finally had enough. I cant count the times that I've walked out of there more stressed than when I walked in. We were also double charged for one month and it took almost a month to get the money back. And they don't make any REAL attempt to fix your complaints. Needless to say, we cancelled our memberships. Oh, and the final hurrah! Upon cancelling our memberships, we were issued a gift card containing the balance of money on our account because Laura didn't know how to issue a refund. After saying something about that, and being told she didn't know how, rather than finding out, she continued to issue the gift card. So we were given a gift card to come back to a place that's been nothing but stressful. TL;DR - Go at your own risk. I decided to treat myself and book an appointment. I was told I'd be with a senior therapist ($10 upcharge) so I had high hopes. I'm a massage therapist as well so I give everyone a chance, but this was just an extremely bad massage. It was incredibly rushed, with deep tissue you have to warm the muscle up and work your way to deep pressure. I have never had someone go so fast in massage movements in the time I've gotten massages! My arms/ legs were literally yanked after being "worked on". I really have never been yanked, or shaken so much in a massage, I don't know why it was that abrasive. I did tell her my problem areas and where I wanted massage to be focused, but her routine didn't change, I'm sure it was the same routine used for every other person. You know it's a bad massage when you leave un- relaxed and frustrated. Needless to say I WILL NOT be going back. Please save your money and find someone who isn't in a local chain who actually takes the time to work on your problem areas and tries to fix what you came in for. Paying so much to be yanked/ and shaken for a "senior therapist" was pretty ridiculous, but lesson learned. read more

I just had to cancel my membership due to the fact that I am moving to a small town and there aren't any elements massages near me :( I've been a member of this location for over 3 years and I've never had any issues with anyone of the staff and I was fortunate enough to have met the owner once which he came to shake my hand and thanked me for my business... who does that nowadays??? That shows that he really cares about his guests, passes it down to the staff and you can totally tell when you speak to the front desk or any of the masseuses I've had in the past, that they're all about making sure you're having the best massage or customer service you can get. My boyfriend and I have been getting massages here for years in the couples room. Jakob is my favorite and my boyfriend says Dustin and Ryan are both great too. All three do a great job with deep tissue. They listen to what you want or don't want worked on, and they are very professional about it! For example, ladies, you can take off you bras and undies or take them off (I leave my undies on). But when they get to your glutes the cover you with sheet and work through that. They take great care to make sure your modesty is not compromised when you are on your back too. It is so nice and professional. They just started aromatherapy too. I personally don't like the scents (they are a tad too strong) but it is nice that they offer them. The rooms are normally unscented and same with the lotion they use. This is great for people with allergies!! The therapists also follow your lead when it comes to talking. My boyfriend and I don't usually talk during our massages and the guys respect that and don't talk either. However, I have had a massage where I was particularly chatty and asked a lot of questions and they were eager to answer. Either way you like it they will accommodate. My boyfriend and I have been coming here for a few years, even after we moved out of the neighborhood we drive half an hour back for our monthly massages. I have been coming to Elements for two years now. I have never had a bad experience.It has always been easy getting an appointment, mostly same day appointments. The rooms are very nice. I never hear outside noise. I have seen most all the therapists and they have all been wonderful. They are always on time and very great to work with. I normally see Kathy. She is great, especially if you have an injury. I will continue going for my monthly massages. read more

I ended up at Elements after receiving a gift card for a 90 minute session, feeling quite agitated with trying to find the place... but after the amazing deep tissue massage that Matt gave me, I felt incredibly relaxed and in a wonderful kind of stupor. Even days later, I was a lot calmer than usual and my muscles were much more relaxed -- the effect that this massage had on me was amazing.
