The worst massage I have ever had. I left feeling worse than when I came in. I informed my therapist when I came in that I preferred light pressure which she acknowledged. I asked her to reduce her pressure at least three separate times. Finally, I just gave up and suffered through the last twenty minutes of the massage. She used short rapid strokes which were not relaxing or soothing in the least. It was really miserable and uncomfortable. I know I should've just gotten up off the table and ended it early. I don't know why I didn't. I guess it's hard to muster up the courage to get up and go when you are laying unclothed face down on a table. I went in for help with a sore shoulder and left with two sore shoulders. When I went to check out they up-charged me $10 because she was apparently a "master" therapist. Talk about adding insult to injury. What a disappointment. Hopefully if someone reads this and has a bad experience it will empower them to get up and leave. I wish I would have. read more

I've seen many different therapists and had all of the "add on" services like the hot stone massage and aroma therapy. You really can't go wrong at this location. Do yourself a favor and add the CBD if you're really looking to relax. (You may want to be sure you have time for a nap afterward.) The service is good, the facility is clean and relaxing, the massages are top notch and recently they've added a facial option as well. Their communication is arrogant, shortsighted and heavy-handed (see other similar review with text messaging). I booked massages for my husband and I to come in at the same time and several days before our appointment, I received a call from Elements Massage telling me that that time was no longer available and that they were being moved to later that same day. But as it turns out, they only moved one of our massages so when we didn't arrive for the earlier massage they called and said there had been a miscommunication and that they were canceling both of them and we should call back and reschedule. I then got a call from their manager telling me she was using my credits to cover the massages and that the no shows were our fault. I explained the circumstances numerous times and she refused to reinstate my credits.It was the worst customer service experience I've had in a long time. Just wanted to be fair to Elements. I rebooked my massage for a couple days later again 8-9pm. Day of massage I got a phone call from Tyler? asking if it would be ok to move my massage up an hour earlier. It was convenient for me so I went ahead and did the massage at 7pm. I appreciated the actual phone call and closed loop communication as opposed to a text message which may or may not work. This is how it should go every time and appreciate that Tyler ensured we were all on the same page. read more

I just had the most fantastic massage EVER!!! I was a Holistic Health Practitioner for many years in California ( several years ago), so I have had more than my share of massage. This young woman, Luz, at the Camelback Elements Massage outshined any other that I can remember. For anyone in the market for an excellent technician, this masseuse is woth the time to schedule a session. My sister gave me an hour and a half appointment for my birthday and it was so, so relaxing/refreshing. I believe she found and removed many hours/months of neck/back/shoulder tension. I have had my Best massage here and that is what this review is not about. The front desk staff makes you feel very pressured to get on the membership program. I really don't appreciate having a nice relaxing massage and then being harassed for not wanting a membership thug style. The girl at the front like jolted when I said no I'm not interested and she got really got abrasive. Why do I continue to have the same conversation with the same person when I tell them I am not interested in membership. Can you please stop asking! This one of the worst experiences at a massage place ever. First off upon arrival the staff was very unwelcoming and my sister and I felt very rush to being or session. Our time appointment was for 4pm due to traffic we were running late (called ahead and told them we were running behind) arrived around 415. They staff didn't take time to go over the services or mention that we wouldn't receive the full hour of service even though we are required to pay for it. I understand it couldn't be prorated but they could've easily let us experience an extra 10-15m of services. One services were selected I went into a room with the massage therapist Patricia. Not only did she make me feel uncomfortable but she proceeded to ask me what services I wanted after everything was discussed with staff in the front. She then told me the session would end at :55 and the full hour rate would be charged for about 35mins of service. Needless to say the experience was very lackluster. At no time did I feel like I receiving an authentic massage more like some rubbing oil on your limbs. I've had plenty of massage sessions before but this was sooooo unfulfilling and I felt the same way that I came. When the session was over there was no other guests waiting and she completely rushed me in exiting the room. I will not be visiting this location or any locations in the future nor do I recommend this for anyone. Completely wasted time and money with this establishment. read more

Had a great experience here. Scheduled my appointment online for a Wednesday evening. Ended up getting a minor head cold so called early the morning of to reschedule. The girl on the phone was so sweet and didn't make me feel bad at all even though it was a same day reschedule. I was expecting to have to pay a cancellation fee.. but nope! Rescheduled for Friday with no issues and has an absolutely amazing massage with Tanisha. I was eagerly greeted by two sweet front desk girls and had. I issues with check in whatsoever. Massage was great, my massage therapist even have feedback on what she felt throughout. I liked that they didn't just says okay you're done now leave.. It's felt like it made the massage feel like it should be taken as more than just relaxation, but like I'm taking care of my body and deserve to prioritize that. All in all, I have no complaints. DON'T GO HERE. I DON'T KNOW ABOUT THE OTHER LOCATIONS BUT THIS WAS MY EXPERIENCE WITH THIS ONE. The therapist was good when I went about 3 weeks ago. But their "manager" Tyler (he says he's the top person there) pressured me to reschedule right then. I told him I didn't have my calendar with me but he assured me he would send me a message with the date and reminders. I received one this morning that the massage was at 10am today. I messaged back I could not make that time and was told they would charge my credit card $45 PLUS I had a spa finder gift certificate with a balance of $51 on it that he KEPT that day and told me "nothing he could do about it". He wouldn't be giving that back either. So they basically charged me $96 (more than a massage) because he failed to send me the date and time of the next massage (and no handwritten appt cards either). They are franchised and I do hope the owner read the reviews. C Klein is listed as the owner of this location and I'll be tracking him down as well - if for no other reason then to let him know his manager isn't a very good one read more

I want to say that my rating is not based on the ability of the therapist by any means. I have always had a good experience when getting a massage at this location. however, scheduling has cause concern to me. I schedule all my appointments online well in advance- about 3 months. I have been going to this location since 2020. recently, I have been getting a text notification 24 hours in advance to inform me my appointment has been moved to a different time to "maximize the therapists schedule." I typically try to make it work- i understand things happen and i try to be accommodating. I also work overnights and sleep during the day during the week. my job doesn't allow me to have my phone, so, I rarely see it on time and have literally no choice but to go or lose my money to make sure the therapist gets paid. I voiced my concerns as this has happened repeatedly the past few months and it's getting old. let me know 2 days in advance or put times that will work best for the therapist up to schedule at those specific times? I schedule in advance enough for any scheduling issues to be avoided. not everyone has the ability to call or text in advance. when I wake up for work, I have things to go and then I work all night until the next morning. it's not the standard schedule and might work for most people. I'm just asking for consideration and more of an advance on schedule changes. I also schedule other needed appointments the same day and usually have to make arrangements because of these changes and it's getting old. to the point where it stresses me out more than helps me relax. I'm thinking about canceling my membership and switching to massage envy. read more

If you come here for massages, don't sign up for their membership. They accidentally lost the paperwork for cancellation and continued to charge me monthly. I had to come in to resign the paperwork that they lost, and they charged me again the next month saying I didn't give 30 day notice. Management turns over frequently and they don't care about the inconveniences their membership causes. Too much of a headache, spend your money elsewhere. read more

Their owner is currently drunk texting me because of an issue I posted to yelp a week ago about their messed up schedules and horrible communication tactics. Clearly my assessment was correct. Went in for a massage for the first time here and was very well taken care of by everyone I spoke to.

This is the second elements I have visited and I like this location just as much as the Tempe one. The staff are friendly warm and helpful in booking the appointment and getting me in to see my therapist. I saw Karen at this location and I will have to admit has amazing hands. She uses a very great technique on not relying on only pressure but using especially range of motion and stretching techniques to reset muscles where they should. She did wonders for my lower back pain. I have a very stubborn knot that doesn't like to be meddled with and sneaks back more often than not even after a session. This wasn't the case with Karen and I really feel better even a day later. The only drawback with Karen is she is allergic to lavender so you won't be able to use that scent in aroma therapy is you do that addition. There are other scents she can do though. There is also Himalayan salts suction cups and other bonuses you can add to your sessions for a small charge. Hour sessions are 99 but I do recommend becoming a member which bumps it down to 69 a session. The good part of membership is your sessions are rolled over if you do not use it in a month. You can also suspend membership for 2 months and not be charged if necessary and of course cancel anytime. I look forward to the next appointment with her and recommend elements to anyone looking for a reasonably priced quality massage. read more

I know when a masseuse is being lazy, taking breaks and going through the motions vs a masseuse that is identifying needs, working hard to get as many knots out during our hour and that enjoys what she does. I got a 60-minute massage here 45 minutes after seeing a chiropractor. I was in pain, had a headache, and was slightly light-headed. I had already taken 400 mg of ibuprofen and used a generous amount of refrigerated BioFreeze on my neck and shoulders. Yet, I was still in pain and very near tears. Following up with a massage that concentrated on my neck and shoulders really did the trick! If you don't want a man massaging you then tell the scheduler before hand when you make your RESERVATION with a debit/credit card. You'll have to request only a woman. You will be charged a $45 cancellation fee if you don't uphold your end of the verbal contract. Be careful with cancelling because it all adds up. read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Alana is a terrible "customer service" manager. I reached on 1/10/2023 after a reminder that my payment was going to charge on the 15th, and asked to cancel the account. Nobody replied. I sent another email 2/1/2023 to cancel the account, and finally Alana replied on 2/2/2023 to attempt to keep my business. I replied to her to send me the forms and not to charge my card. On 2/2/2023, I realize she has charged my card. I email angrily that this was done, after I specifically told them not to. She replied per my agreement I had to give them 30 days notice, however isn't that unfair seeing as the reminder for payment from them was only 6 day notice? I asked for her to refund my card multiple times, she said no per contract. I asked her to send me a cancelation form, and she said no, I have to come in ... uh gas is how much per gallon? I asked to speak to someone else, she said no. I asked for someone else above her name, she said no. I asked her to send me the form again, as that is NOT in my contract, and she hung up on me. Sooo enter their membership with this in mind. If you fall on hard financial times due to Covid, they don't give a sh**. I used to recommend people to come here, and now I will post everywhere I can about this experience. read more
