This was the worst massage I've ever had. I don't think the massage therapist stopped talking for even 10 seconds the entire hour.. and then they were trying to convince me to commit to two massages per month and made it really awkward when I was trying to just pay and leave. It's gimmicky and uncomfortable. read more

For the Third time I was contacted after booking, and they tried to upsale my appointment to 90 minutes claiming the masseuse I had scheduled with only accepted 90 minute appointments, even though they had an online appointment available 1:15 minutes after the start of the appointment I booked. I'm so sick of this squeeze to extract more $ read more

Some of the worst massages I've ever had. They hire people who have NO IDEA what they're doing...yet they're charging top dollar. Once in a while, you'll find a good massage therapist, but they don't seem to stick around very long. read more

SpaFinder tip - do not throw away your email as they don't have a scan gun to scan the barcode from a papercopy. $109/introductory massage. They don't do fire cupping, only suction cupping so I am not sure if I would do that. Average massage as I always think they factor in changing of clothes time to your massage. read more

Came here to relieve some holiday stress. Not the actual "spa experience" I anticipated. Walk in and it reminded me of a dental reception area. People loud, receipts actually trying to sell you on your next message as park of a membership. They called my name and I was lead back to my room and there was advertising on a little card on the massage table??? What the heck are you suppose to do with that....I had to remove it and place it on the floor prior to me getting on the table??? There was a rob, but not sure why?? Do they have showers? NO one veered offered me one nor did they tell there was one. The walls in the room I was in were so thin I could here everything outside my room. NOT RELAXING AT ALL. My chin was hitting a metal bar in the headrest, I asked the gal giving me a massage and she adjusted it a bit but the cloth just continued to pulled away...it was very uncomfortable for a minute let alone an hour:( My massage theripist was nice an did a good job. The warm sheets were very nice! Only other odd thing was when I was on my back she never put anything over my eyes. I have never had that happen before. So it was hard for me to relax when I opened my eyes and saw this chick looking at me. Lots of parking nearby...part of a strip mall. read more

Elements Massage - Massage Therapy Near Me - Issaquah, Washington

I have gone to Angela for a few months now, and she is excellent. She is on time and is very considerate to your needs.

I booked a 90 minute massage but only got a 60 minute. The massage therapist showed up 5 minutes late. He was overly chatty at the beginning and during the massage. Really unprofessional. He told me had PTSD many times. He talked so much about himself he didn't even realize I booked a 90 min appointment and ended it at 60 minutes. Which, in the end, worked for me because I wanted to get out of there asap. I didn't relax or enjoy the session at all. Message therapy should 100% be about the clients needs. I definitely don't recommend this place. read more

Always great service and the therapist are very professional and conscientious. Get appts early as they book up.

Tonight is my third night at Elements Massage. I was unable to be seen at my physical therapist for my heel issue and the woman here named Lucie took care of the situation and understood completely how to help me to heal . I am so thankful to be in a place where people are knowledgeable and have empathy for what you're struggling with and try to help you become whole . I love elements massage read more

I would leave zero stars if I could. This place used to be great but they are booking appointments 2 months out and cancel regularly. I have hundreds of dollars of credit with them and have cancelled my membership as I just can't get an appointment when I need one. They just called to cancel an appointment I made in November on the day of the appointment, the next available appointment for my schedule (I have a job) is Friday April 22nd and today is March 11th. I will leave an additional1 star review every time this establishment messes with my day in the future. read more

The worst most expensive massage with quacks who did not know how to massage but kept poking and pinching the bone not do an actual massage . I am skeptical of their hygiene practices in this covid time . Save your money and go somewhere else . read more

I would give a negative number if I could. I was a member here paying monthly dues for 2-3 years now, but cancelled my membership today after a horrific encounter with Shanna Chaffee. When Shanna came to the waiting area to greet me she was 10mins late. I asked her as we were walking to the room if we would add 15mins to the massage (as that would be approximate time we'd start the massage after I got on the bed). She snapped at me and said "NO" as we walked to the room. I said "Okay" and took my coat off. She slammed the door loud enough that I immediately turned around. Clearly hostile I was not about to have her project that energy onto me - let alone touch me. As I walked to the front desk I heard her shouting in the employee area "Fuck this, I've had it with this shit....I can't believe...." I opened the door and said "I can hear you." When I got to the front desk I was so upset I started crying, this is not the therapeutic healing I needed. Shanna opened the door and started yelling at me again - as if she didn't get enough out. Completely uncalled for. Last year a different massage therapist (Song) was using her cell phone instead of massaging me. I had to ask her kindly to continue. Can you imagine that? Anyway - I cancelled my membership this morning after my interaction with Shanna's crazy ass. Life is too short. My recommendation - Go somewhere peaceful (and more affordable) there are plenty of options out there! No one will pay to be treated like this. read more

Massage was pretty weak. Areas I asked for extra attention were not touched. I spent 10 minutes filling out paperwork for the massage therapist, but she didn't even look at the paperwork I also didn't like the atmosphere, it was pretty dingy and I didn't get my aromatherapy that I requested. I won't be back. read more

Therapist grabbed me late. Charged me full hour for a 45 minute session. Front desk just shrugged their shoulders

For the FOURTH time, my husband's appointment was cancelled on him. We will not be back to Elements because it is just not a reliable service business. Sure, he had a few decent massages over the years... when they actually happened. But making an appointment and then waiting for the cancellation call is not working for us. Maybe we were just the unlucky ones; I understand people/therapists get sick sometimes too, but Elements has no action plan for that scenario- they just cancel on you. Why not have back-up/on-call therapists? You might then be able to serve the clientele in a reliable manner. We complained after the third cancellation, getting nothing more than 'sorry' from management. Decided to try again and now the fourth cancellation. So we are done. read more

I really wanted to love this business. I've been a member for years and it's just getting more and more ridiculous. You can never book appointments unless it's 2 to 3 months out. I've had therapists cancel my appointment on the day off. I understand there's shortage of massage therapists due to Covid, but they just keep charging my account while I'm unable to book appointments. Wish they would do something. read more

Such mixed feelings...I had a GREAT therapist this week and wanted to communicate with her about future plans for my health. But the manager refused to connect me with her, saying it was their "policy." But I had consented to share my email with the therapist, so what reason could there by for keeping us apart, other than financial control of the situation? Thus, good massage, but a controlling, for-profit environment. A postscript: after I asked about the policy, I got an email from the manager, Siouxie Jeter-Koch, who wrote this in reply: "For clients, as part of the Terms & Conditions, clients agree to a No Solicitation Policy - where they agree not to solicit, recruit or encourage the provision of services outside the studio. I have attached your signed client intake, where you can review all of our terms and conditions." I was so shocked by the outrageous and utterly unfounded idea that I was trying to steal business from them that I will NEVER go to this establishment again. It seems like SuperCuts: a corporate shop where individuals workers are controlled and exploited. No thank you, I will choose from the many other options available nearby. read more

Terrible. It takes a month to get a good therapist or take a chance and go with the unknown. You might be lucky enough to get someone that will not only do a terrible job but in the end ruin your relationship with the location. The end situation could not have been handled more poorly. This manager should consider some additional training to ensure she understand how to Investigate and verify; the keys to good management. Not only would I never, ever go to this place, or any other location they have, but massage therapy is no longer something I would purchase again in my lifetime. Thank you for destroying my faith in this field of service! read more

I received a gift card and did some research, just happened to choose Lucy. The staff are great but the office itself could use some work. It definitely feels like an office when you arrive, not a spa atmosphere. But if I had an infinite amount of money I would see Lucy all the time. She was amazing and was able to fix several random issues I'd been having. So glad to have met her and would recommend her to anyone. read more

I have had quite a few good massages here (Keely and Ivy) and some not so great. The issue I have with this business is their constant attempt to sell you longer massages. Every time I try to sign up for a 55 minute massage, I get an email telling me that 'the only massage they can book that day is a 90 minute session.' This is even though the therapist's schedule was fully open for a few hours. This has become so commonplace that I hardly ever book massages there anymore, as I don't want to deal with their 'salesman' like mentality. read more

its a great relaxing place. Their message is one of the best i had in my life. Thank you

I just had my first visit here today. End to end, it was a very good experience. I requested it online last week. I rec'd a call the same evening, confirming and booking the request. I also let them know I would be using a gift certificate. No issues with any of that. Today, I arrived early enough to get the first-time paperwork done, The waiting area was nicely appointed & spa-like. Not overly fancy or large, but certainly not spartan. Not, as another reviewer characterized it, like a dentist's office. It felt like a reception area in a spa or salon. My therapist, Rachel, arrived on time and showed me to the room. Once I was ready, she returned and asked me a few questions to ensure that I was comfortable on the massage table and with her approach. What ensued was a very good, relaxing massage with just the level of intensity that was discussed. I paid with a gift certificate and cash gratuity. It was very straightforward. They have a monthly wellness program, which the person at the front desk overviewed for me. It seems to be a pretty good program, which offers a significant discount, as well as other benefits, to those who are interested in regular monthly massages. There was no undue pressure to sign up. I didn't choose to in the moment, but it's a good enough deal that it's worth consideration. Over all, this was an excellent, pleasant experience. I'd definitely return, and Rachel gets two thumbs as well. read more

Easy appointment scheduling, front desk customer service is great (on my 3rd visit they called me by name as I entered the door), and the massage therapist (Tara) takes her time to really understand my goals for each session including things I can do at home to work out the knots in my shoulder area. read more

I was not impressed with their customer service at all. I would not actually go there . The only reason I went there was for gift certificates which they refused to mail , so I drove an hour to get them. Not impressed read more

We are all human, and no human is perfect. We all make mistakes. The measure of a retail service business, in my opinion, is how they make up for it when a mistake is made. I won't go into detail about what happened or what they did to make up for it. What I want to say is that Jay, the General Manager of the Issaquah Elements Massage went way above and beyond what was necessary to bring us back. She returned my call when she said she would. She listened to my complaint without interrupting or me or making excuses, and she resolved the issue creatively, politely, generously, and professionally. I can't imagine how she could have done more. Thank you Jay. read more

Corey is by far the best deep tissue massage therapist I have found. He is very professional as well.

They will try and make you sign up for a 90 minute session if all you have requested is an hour one. Beware when you try and take advantage of the hour specials - it is a trick to get you to have a 90 minute session. I have Requested an hours appointment online six times and each time they say they only have 90 minutes available. So why have 60 minute deals? read more

The environment is very inviting. Mackenzie (who's smiling happy face you'll see first at the front desk) is very sweet, friendly, and professional. It isn't just the office itself that makes a place inviting...it's the people in it that make a place inviting and Mackenzie really does do a great job of inviting you in and making you feel welcome. This location is prompt with their schedule, so if you have an appointment, no worries of them running late. The entire office is clean and beautiful. "Hope" was the therapist I had and she is AMAZING!! I can't recommend her enough! She did a soft tissue massage on me that was so relaxing which is something we all need from time to time. Hope is very professional and my goodness she has the most soothing voice I've ever heard in my entire life! It was the icing on the cake of my relaxation experience. The room in which I had the massage had dim lighting and soft music playing. Hope made sure I was comfortable at all times and was very accommodating to ensure I remained comfortable throughout the massage. Every little detail about my experience in the office (especially my massage) was wonderful! I definitely recommend Hope as a massage therapist to anyone and I recommend Elements Massage in Issaquah for sure! Thank you Elements for providing calmness from the moment I walked in the door and thank you Hope for the wonderful gift of inner peace and calmness you've given me today! I will be back guaranteed! read more

After writing my previous review on this business, I've been in touch with its owner who has been very cooperative in trying to rectify what had transpired leading me to discontinue my membership. While I won't be returning because the penalty of a missed appointment remains intact for members and walk-ins alike, the owner was very receptive to discussing the matter, and making me whole. So I do recommend the business for those willing and able to abide by the rules. There are definite benefits. read more

I'm very happy with my experience at Elements. They are friendly and professional, and they must treat their massage therapists well, because they stay a long time. I would have rated the service a zero but you have to select at least a 1 star. Called to reschedule my appointment this morning for the following day and was notified that I had all ready been charged a $50 cancellation fee! THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS! The service itself is only a $79 fee. The text message I received a day prior mentioned a fee may apply if a cancelation is made but mentions nothing of it being $50. DO NOT GIVE THIS LOCATION YOUR BUSINESS. I was treated rudely and spoken to very condescendingly by Andrea the front desk assistant who answered the phone. She did not even attempt to reschedule my appointment but rather made me feel that my business was not important and that I was an idiot for not know that the fee was $50. I had only been to this location once before and that service was gifted to me. I had NO prior knowledge of this astronomical fee. read more
