My husband underestimates the job and starts to paint by himself. It was a huge mistake and during this Covid-19, it's not easy to find a good and right painter to fix the problem. Finally I found Melisa through yelp. We are so blessed to have her. She provides not only professional recommendations but also friendly and positive attitude toward customers which really impressed me and my husband. Within three days, my door looks fantastic especially it's done before this Sunday. What a relief. Melisa is very easy to communicate and her team knows what and how to get the job done right. Her name and company will be kept on our top list for future painting project. If you are looking for a trustful and professional painting company, we definitely recommend Melisa and her team. You won't be disappointed.

I had a special timeline (because I live 3000 miles away from the property,) and they worked with me. The property is a condo with an HOA, and The Luxury Contractor Painting workers were super-considerate of the building's rules, extremely clean about the work site, and it was a pleasure to have them doing this work. The next time I am in Long Beach and in need of their services, I will call on them. I have been singing their praises to everyone I've had opportunities to tell. 5-star recommendation!

I had contacted Original Richard about a year ago, and we had some email miscommunications, so I never did anything. Then had more work I wanted done on the home, so found another contractor to do that work and the stucco as well. Long story short, I couldn't get that contractor to detail what they were going to do, and the cost was too high. So back to Original Richard. They have a great office staff, and after a little communication, the process began. Believe me, it's messy. Especially the sandblasting part. And we had to prepare the outside by removing or pulling back all the plant life around the house. The first part with the removal of the gutter downspouts and the sandblasting was painful. Noisy, dirty, and empty water bottles thrown all over the place. But I understand this is typical contractor stuff that just happens. And while the sandblasters did a decent job of cleaning up, I did have to call OR to make sure that all empty bottles and other debris get picked up at the completion of the job. And they did. The office staff is great! The second part was the stucco. It took a couple of days to complete it. I worked with them on the color (it's great . . . you don't have to paint your house . . . the stucco comes colored!). Such a great job and the skin on our house now looks beautiful!!!! The house next door to us was doing a major remodel that had taken them months. And I have to say, our stucco and our home looks way, way better than theirs!

Original Richard did terrific stucco and paint job on my parents house 10 years ago. It took a few exorbitant estimates before I thought to ask who did the work at their house. A hole in the stucco from an old dryer vent was patched as well as some cracks. The wooden eaves were painted. They even filled in divots in the eaves left by a prior contractor. This had been an eyesore which had been bugging me for the last 3 years. The crew was professional and showed up when they said they would. Original Richard did a top notch job at a reasonable price.

I contacted Hugo, and he agreed to come out the next day. . His bid came in toward the lower end. 2K less than my highest bid! We were sold! He sent a team of painters as soon as I selected a color. They prepared all the surfaces and patched with care. They worked hard and were friendly and diligent. On the last day, Hugo came by and made sure, all the little details were taken care of (imperfections that I would have never noticed). They really focus on every little detail. A neighbor even asked for their number right after they were done. I will definitely be using this company again! So, in a nutshell, these guys are the genuine, honest, reasonable and willing to go above and beyond to keep their customers happy. I cannot recommend them strongly enough!

Blue Coast painted my house about 4 years ago, using Behr Elastomeric paint that I provided. This…read moreis a very high quality paint that should last 10-14 years according to the manufacturer. Only 4 years in and I have paint peeling and chipping down to the wood. An experienced contractor told me that they likely cut corners and didn't wait long enough for the primer to dry fully before painting. I spoke to the manager and he said: "At this point, the project is outside any reasonable workmanship responsibility. Our work was performed professionally and according to the agreed scope at the time." Even though it's only been 4 years. How quickly would the paint have to peel for it to be inside of a "reasonable workmanship responsibility" - it lasted less than 1/3 of the time the manufacturer of the paint said it would last! Proof is in the pudding, look at the pic, this is just one spot out of many that are like this. Instead of offering to come by and do some touch-ups, they just washed their hands clean of the whole thing. Also, he swears that they did 2 coats but they did not. I remember specifically asking if he was going to do 2 coats and he said that 1 would be plenty efficient for this quality of paint. I'm a partially disabled veteran, I don't have the money to be repainting my house every 4 years. I bought a quality paint, expecting it to last the 10-14 years that Behr says it should last, not 4. Very disappointed to say the least
