Miranda's Painting repaired and painted the plaster walls, ceilings, crown and some baseboards in our hallway, living room, entry and dining room. We had some previous foundation issues that caused our plaster to bow and crack really badly, so this wasn't a small job. I also asked if they could fix someone else's bad patching/baseboard work, which they did beautifully. Jose listened to and addressed all my concerns. I was told by my hardwood floor repair company not to use any tape on our 1940's floors, so Jose brought special no-skid mats so they didn't need to tape the floor. The patching and painting is amazing. I feel like I've moved into a new house. Everything was done perfectly and on time. They even moved and repositioned two heavy mirrors. Jose is also a really nice guy, and a pleasure to have around. Very courteous and professional. I found Miranda's painting through Yelp. I was looking for someone to paint our baby's nursery. I live in a pretty old house that had multiple layers of paint that were peeling off. Room was in a pretty bad shape with patches and paint peeling everywhere. José responded really fast and had a quote for me right after checking out the room we needed painted. Jose's quote was competitive. We ultimately hired him because of his paint workmanship and expertise. He painted the whole room, plus three doors, and built an accent wall. The accent wall came out amazing! We have had several painters paint different rooms and he has done the best work so far. I was very impressed with the quality of work and professionalism of the Miranda's Painting team. I had an urgent project and they were willing to work New Year's Eve and New Year's Day to complete it. The work was so excellent that the parts of my new office that I'd thought didn't need paint (trim and floorboards) looked terrible in comparison so I asked them to take care of those details and they went right to work. They redid my ceiling as well. Juan was able to put in a decorative wall in my new office including installing shelves. He and Jose were attentive and punctual. Fernando was one of the painters and his work was superb. I'm very pleased to have found this company. I did pay a lot to have the work done - part of that was the short notice, but I paid over $2000 for a 350 sq foot place including the restoration of a wood garden gate (it is gorgeous now - and it hangs plumb!). I would hire them again and hope the price would be more reasonable with better lead time. I was so grateful they worked over holidays for me! Jose and team were awesome and made our fireplace dreams come true! We moved into our new home and the previous owner had painted over the "brick" fireplace with a few coats of different paint. The last layer was dark dark brown with holes. We thought we could do this ourselves but quickly realized we needed help! We got turned down by a few painters and one other was quoting us way to high! Jose came from LA to OC to take a look and he was straight forward, listened to what we wanted and told us it wasn't true brick! Juan did a phenomenal job installing the wallpaper on this unconventional wall. Not only was it very very tall, it also has a diagonal finish due to the ceilings. After a previous attempt at installing myself (and an unsuccessful one at that), Juan was able to remedy the wall and finish it perfectly. He also then went ahead and reinstalled the shelving over the wallpaper and I couldn't be happier with the finished product. Can't recommend Miranda's Painting enough! Recently moved into a new loft in DTLA. I had several bids from painters and Miranda's was the most professional and the most cost effective. The place is difficult to paint because of weird walls, exposed wiring tubes etc. but they handled it very well. They completed most of the job in one day, and came back the next for touch ups.
