José Miranda and his team just painted our house. The estimate from Miranda Painting, was only two of five estimates, that we received, which we considered to be reasonable. We chose Miranda because he had just painted a house up the street and the owners there were very pleased with his work. The Miranda team is very conscientious and courteous. Having your house painted, especially a 100-year-old house with pull-in casement windows, could be a very disruptive process. However, to create as little disruption as possible, the Miranda team removed the windows from the outside and then covered the opening with plastic. I don't think they spent more than a few minutes, in the house, during the entire house painting process. Their work is excellent. We highly recommend Miranda Painting. read more

Asked Miranda to install & paint hallway doors. Home is 100 years old with custom old door frames, so it was not an easy install. Jose & son did an amazing job. Most appreciated they cleaned and left the space spotless. This project was done in August 2024. Delayed review due to other projects done recently. Would highly recommend. read more

Miranda's Painting repaired and painted the plaster walls, ceilings, crown and some baseboards in our hallway, living room, entry and dining room. We had some previous foundation issues that caused our plaster to bow and crack really badly, so this wasn't a small job. I also asked if they could fix someone else's bad patching/baseboard work, which they did beautifully. Jose listened to and addressed all my concerns. I was told by my hardwood floor repair company not to use any tape on our 1940's floors, so Jose brought special no-skid mats so they didn't need to tape the floor. The patching and painting is amazing. I feel like I've moved into a new house. Everything was done perfectly and on time. They even moved and repositioned two heavy mirrors. Jose is also a really nice guy, and a pleasure to have around. Very courteous and professional. I've already passed his info to my friends and I'm planning on hiring Miranda's Painting again soon. read more

I found Miranda's painting through Yelp. I was looking for someone to paint our baby's nursery. I live in a pretty old house that had multiple layers of paint that were peeling off. Room was in a pretty bad shape with patches and paint peeling everywhere. José responded really fast and had a quote for me right after checking out the room we needed painted. Jose's quote was competitive. We ultimately hired him because of his paint workmanship and expertise. He painted the whole room, plus three doors, and built an accent wall. The accent wall came out amazing! We have had several painters paint different rooms and he has done the best work so far. He really worked hard on prepping the walls and doors to receive the paint resulting in a job well done. If you want quality Jose is your guy. Here is a small look into my sons room. read more

Jose was very professional and easy to work with. He even came out on a Sunday to give an estimate. His original availability to do the work was a month out, but, he was able to squeeze us in on a Sunday to do the work. We really appreciate it, since the painting needed to be done before the next step in our project. They painted our patio cover in less than a day for the price and time as promised. Highly recommend and will reach out to them for any future painting read more

I was very impressed with the quality of work and professionalism of the Miranda's Painting team. I had an urgent project and they were willing to work New Year's Eve and New Year's Day to complete it. The work was so excellent that the parts of my new office that I'd thought didn't need paint (trim and floorboards) looked terrible in comparison so I asked them to take care of those details and they went right to work. They redid my ceiling as well. Juan was able to put in a decorative wall in my new office including installing shelves. He and Jose were attentive and punctual. Fernando was one of the painters and his work was superb. I'm very pleased to have found this company. I did pay a lot to have the work done - part of that was the short notice, but I paid over $2000 for a 350 sq foot place including the restoration of a wood garden gate (it is gorgeous now - and it hangs plumb!). I would hire them again and hope the price would be more reasonable with better lead time. I was so grateful they worked over holidays for me! I was able to open my business on time due to their excellent work and great clean up! read more

We found Miranda's Painting on Yelp. He was the first to respond to us and came to the house the next morning. We were originally going to only paint inside, but we had him paint the entire inside & outside of home. We worked directly with Jose who was wonderful. Great communication through the entire process. We were under a tight schedule & he worked through the weekends in order to meet our deadlines. The repairs, prep & painting turned out wonderful. They were also amazing on cleanup. I highly recommend this team! read more

Jose the Owner of Miranda's Painting is an exceptional professional. We have used is company twice and have been very satisfied with both jobs. The first one was several years ago and was the outside of the house. They invested the time to sand, prime and paint the house. We liked them so much it was very easy to hire them again for painting two interior rooms. We have a very old house and Jose and his crew took the time to get the job done in a timely basis and the rooms look excellent. I would use Jose of Miranda's painting for any of my painting needs and highly recommend him. Stanley read more

Juan did a phenomenal job installing the wallpaper on this unconventional wall. Not only was it very very tall, it also has a diagonal finish due to the ceilings. After a previous attempt at installing myself (and an unsuccessful one at that), Juan was able to remedy the wall and finish it perfectly. He also then went ahead and reinstalled the shelving over the wallpaper and I couldn't be happier with the finished product. Can't recommend Miranda's Painting enough! (Also not many businesses still install wallpaper so I was super glad they not only offered that service but did such a fantastic, clean, job). read more

Jose and team were awesome and made our fireplace dreams come true! We moved into our new home and the previous owner had painted over the "brick" fireplace with a few coats of different paint. The last layer was dark dark brown with holes. We thought we could do this ourselves but quickly realized we needed help! We got turned down by a few painters and one other was quoting us way to high! Jose came from LA to OC to take a look and he was straight forward, listened to what we wanted and told us it wasn't true brick! He was so knowledgeable we ended up also hiring him to do our living room with very high ceilings! Long story short the fireplace was a doozy and after the paint came off there was 2 different mortar colors , but Jose made wonderful stain through SW and he made it look like real brick all through out! We were blown away with his flexibility, kindness and professionalism! read more

These guys are keepers! Great experience with Jose Miranda and his team. Definitely recommend ! requested a quote via yelp, Jose responded quickly, made an appointment to come by to view the room, showed up on time and gave me a fair estimate of what was entailed, how long the job would take and their availability. Communication, punctuality, workmanship, attention to detail, were all excellent. Jose was part of the painting team and took pride in how it was completed. Owner presence always makes a difference and it showed. Very happy with how our daughter's room looks and how clean they left the space. Will definitely use them again. read more

Recently moved into a new loft in DTLA. I had several bids from painters and Miranda's was the most professional and the most cost effective. The place is difficult to paint because of weird walls, exposed wiring tubes etc. but they handled it very well. They completed most of the job in one day, and came back the next for touch ups. They did a terrific job and I love my new paint. Would definitely recommend. read more

Jose answered his phone immediately and set up an appointment for an estimate. My laundry room was in rough shape as a result of previously done work by other building workers. My living room had new shutters and blinds installed. A lot of patchwork required. When Jose and his crew were done a couple of days later, I was amazed at the result that skilled and professional workers performed in my home. I highly recommend Mirandas painting. I can't say enough great things about Miranda's Painting. First, Jose was very quick to respond. We set up an appointment within a day, and he showed up on time. We walked through the project and it was then I realized how professional and experienced Jose was. He is very detailed when describing his work and what I needed to have done as well as very clean, and made sure he tidied up every day. He said the project would take a week and he actually finish a day early. Now when someone asks me if I know a good painter, I will tell them "I got a guy" and his name is Jose Miranda. read more

Jose and his son Juan were superb in every way! Both extremely hard working and dedicated to providing the client with top notch and quality work. I had to fire a previous contractor that left my house a mess, called Jose and hired him to paint my house, came to find out that he's a jack of all trades, he was able to paint my house, refinish my kitchen cabinets, install the backsplash, and finish up the bathroom remodel the last contractor did not complete, all of this in two weeks. Let me also note that Jose and his crew show up to work punctual every morning, they are very professional and take pride in the quality of work that they provide. Jose, Juan and Ugo did a fantastic job. They always appeared on time, kept you informed of the process and took special attention to detail. Most of all, it was a breath of fresh air to experience their honesty. At the completion of the job, I overpaid by $200. Jose called me to inform me that they were going to personally refund me the excess amount I paid, and they did exactly that. I was also impressed with the detail they put into their work by caulking all of the areas that had gaps and repairing the wood that needed to be repaired. I have been receiving numerous compliments from my neighbors who watched the process. They also had their own portable restroom on site read more

The work I asked of them wasn't easy. Did exactly what I asked of them to do. Good crew. Clean work. Above and beyond. Fair pricing.

Jose and his team were on time at every quote and job execution. It was an inside wood wall unit that needed oil base primer and two coats of latex finish coat. It was a big job and they were great.
