The turf area especially felt tight and there was a noticeable smell that made the atmosphere less enjoyable. The equipment quality was decent and the staff were about the same as other Los locations, friendly and easygoing. It seems to attract a mix of casual and serious lifters, which is nice. There is a small posing room but it is basically just a closet with mirrors. The cardio options were pretty limited too. Not a bad gym but definitely not my favorite Los spot. It just felt a little claustrophobic and there are better options in the city for the same price.

They have a TON of power and olympic lifting equipment, including squat racks, lifting platforms, many different bars, and bumper plates. They also have a bunch of accessory machines and equipment, although I did not see a GHD. They have fairly good sized bathrooms, and lots of supplements incase you forget yours. Drop-ins are about $20, and parking is pretty easy.

Tyler Caldwell is an excellent trainer . I have worked with him for over 2 years both at his home…read moregym and at Los Campeones . He has a wonderful personality and great sense of humor. He works on good mechanics while lifting and encourages me to be stronger and push my level of weight and endurance. Both my daughter and grandson work with him as well and we often have a three generation workout.

Tyler is great! I've been going to his classes for a little over a year and a half and at 26, I'm…read morethe fittest and strongest I've ever been. I met Tyler through a friend of a friend who asked me to sign up with him so they could get a referral discount. I was wary of trying it out because I had my "cardio rat" routine down. I did my 45 min on the treadmill/elliptical/stair master, threw in a couple machine leg sets, and then called it a day. However, the first class I went to with Tyler, I was sold. The classes consist of a lot of conditioning and strength training workouts that use your body weight or kettle bells to kick your ass for 45 min. It's a full body workout and I always leave feeling satisfied that I truly got a workout in. Plus, you see results and continue to see results. I can do more reps faster, I can use heavier kettle bells, and I feel stronger. My bod is more toned than it's ever been and he's serious when he says he can help you "build a better butt." I go to his classes (T, Th, S, and Sun) as consistently as possible and also do a personal training session with him once a week. The personal training is great- it's a time to focus on what you want and try some new lifts, techniques, or workouts. I never considered lifting for strength before Tyler. I was worried I'd hurt myself or get some crazy big muscles. Instead, I'm toned out and have this new confidence in my strength as a female. I could barely squat 45 pounds properly when I started and now I'm squatting over 150 pounds! Long story short, I highly recommend TC Personal Fitness. Tyler is super motivating, encouraging, and extremely knowledgeable in what he does. He's approachable and I trust that he has my best fitness interests in mind.

I've been training with Amy twice a week for the past year, both in person and virtually. When I…read morestarted, I was pre-diabetic, and suffering from plantar fasciitis and osteoarthritis in my knees that made it painful for me to participate in the sports and activities I love. Since then, I've dropped over 50 pounds, lost eight inches around the waist, and gotten back to hiking and pickle ball and golfing without pain. When I went for my annual physical a few months ago, it was the first time in fifteen years that the results came back clean - every result was in the normal range. Cholesterol and blood sugars were way down. I hired Amy as my trainer because she would come to my home, and train with me in the garage on the equipment I own. Dumbbells, kettlebells, TRX, box jump, wall sits, etc. Every workout is different. She is patient, quick to offer modifications when something's not right, and keeps a close eye on form to ensure I perform the moves correctly. She knows how to push, too. I never knew there were so many variations of plank exercises, squats and lunges. She's often recognized before I have that I am capable of doing far more than I realize, and it's worked. She's turned me into a lover of Bulgarian split squats! I'm healthier, stronger and more fit than I've been in decades, and I credit Amy. She's even helped with diet and nutrition, and turned me onto healthier foods, and when and how to use protein shakes maximum effect. In other words, I'm a big fan, and wholeheartedly recommend her training services for anyone who is serious about making health and fitness a bigger part of their lives.

In 2022, I realized that I, 73, should be working on my own strength and conditioning in order to assist him as well as maintaining my own quality of life. For four years I have been working with Amy twice a week and Andy continues working with her once a week. We began with in-home visits but Covid forced us to virtual sessions via FaceTime. FaceTime has proven to be the perfect situation, especially since her recent move to Minneapolis. Her relocation went seamlessly for us and we continue as if she still lives in Pleasanton. Amy tasks us with personally designed workouts every session, making certain we're performing the moves correctly for maximum benefit, and offers valuable advice on diet and nutrition. She continues to research new and challenging exercises for us, pushing us to continually improve our strength, conditioning, balance and endurance. Her help has enabled us to continue to travel, enjoy our grandchildren and just feel better. We highly recommend our friend and trainer extraordinaire to anyone looking for a guide to better health.
