Amazing customer service department. I had bought a TV and started having warranty issues with the screen so I emailed their customer service team about my issue. They kept contact with me, and even reminded me when I forgot to email back (that really is impressive) and they were extremely responsive throughout the whole process. They determined they could not fix my TV and reimbursed me the full cost of what I had paid for it. I went and bought another Element TV with the money. Thank you Element Electronics. read more

The 86 in element Zumo TV is the worst TV I've ever owned . I would not recommend this TV to my worst enemy . The first thing you asked you for is a credit card to make purchases . The operating system is laggy . I experienced the black screen of death after only a year of owning the TV there's no video only audio . The bottom of the barrel the TV. read more

I strongly caution anyone considering an ONN / Element Electronics television. After purchasing a brand-new 50″ ONN Roku TV, it failed within about 79 days with a hardware defect -- no picture, just a black screen despite working power light. The warranty process has been frustrating, inconsistent, and burdensome: * Repeated requests for the same documentation and photo proofs despite submissions multiple times. * Now required to self-package a large, fragile TV without the original box or factory packaging. * ONN provided a UPS label with no transit insurance and explicitly states they won't cover damage during return shipping -- yet will void warranty if units arrive damaged. * No meaningful plan to address the absence of original packaging or transit risk. * Logistical burden of transporting a 50″ TV to UPS without support or reimbursement. I've installed and used many TVs over 20+ years with no failures -- this early failure, combined with the company's warranty handling, has been unacceptable. Far too much risk and responsibility is being put on the consumer for a manufacturing defect. Buyer beware: If this failure and customer service experience reflects typical handling, ONN TVs may not be worth the initial low price. Consider more reliable brands and read warranty terms carefully before purchase. read more

The worst decision I ever made in my entire life was buying a 70-in tv from Walmart The TV went out in less than 2 years of buying it I contacted element then I had to go in the emergency room for covid and they refuse to honor their warranty The customer service is terrible they send you these generic emails so now I'm stuck with a 70-in box in my living room that doesn't work after spending hundreds of dollars stay away from element ectronics it's a miracle these people are allowed to operate in the United States or anywhere else in the world My case number is EU 162 464270. Bought a 65 in Roku element television and it plays dark after 2 years; stonewalled by support, note I have a 65 in paper weight

If i could give no stars i woild. I bought a 65 inch smart TV on black Friday last year. Last month it completely went black. I contacted the company sent them all requested paperwork, 3 weeks and 40 emails later they finally set up a service for my TV to be repaired. Well the TV wasn't repairable and a report was sent back to element. Well after more attempts to try and get my TV replaced, finally someone just told me I'm getting a refund of 299. Well I spent 330 in black Friday (major sales day) I told them I did not want the refund check I would like a "replacement of equal or greater value" like their warranty and policy state. After talking to 4 different people and numerous emails someone finally just said no, and initiated a check to be sent. I've contacted through the help chat 4 different times to cancle the check and issue an actual replacement since I can literally not replace my TV with the sales price I paid. And per their own contract (that they've sent me numerous times) they should lawfully be replacing my TV of equal or great value of my 65 inch TV. But after talking to 2 different supervisors, who both said completely different things for resolving. This last one I spoke to today said they have absolutely no tvs in their warehouse, none, except a 32 inch if I want it instead of my refund or my 65 inch. So not only am I out a 65 inch TV. I'm out 30 dollars, because theybdont reimburse sales tax and they broke their own terms and conditions. They sold a faulty TV and I literally paid them for it. Its almost comical. Bad customer service, bad representative communication. Bad procedure, and very poor sticking to their own terms and conditions. read more

Element Electronics - 50 in . Element smart tv - Electronics Near Me - Eden Prairie, Minnesota

There is a reason this company has an "F" with the Better Business Bureau. You may be strolling your local Target or see an ad for Black Friday that has a super affordable HDTV by Element and think "WOW! WHAT A STEAL! I MUST BUY IT!!" Well take this as a word of warning and keep moving. Seriously, just don't do it! Buy a name brand for the extra hundred or so bucks because these televisions are garbage! Do a Google Search and you will see just how many people have had issues. Either their screen is flipped upside down or it will randomly shut off while you are watching it. Contacting their Customer Support to start a Warranty claim is a nightmare and it is easier to get a two year old to listen and respond to you. I'm not joking. I have had better luck getting my toddler Niece to pick up her toys when I tell her to. I purchased this TV on Black Friday last year (11/26/2012) from a local Target. From that time until about two month ago it stayed in the box, unopened in our spare room while we renovated our back family room. After unboxing it it worked fine for a few days and then suddenly started shutting off on its own at random times. From the time we started using it to the time the issues popped up we had only watched maybe 10 hours of TV on it. This is happening pretty frequent now (it can happen once an hour or every few minutes) which is making it impossible to watch TV on this set. The device is still under warranty, but it seems like the company is purposely trying to dodge my calls as the warranty expires later this month. I have tried contacting them over two dozen times since this issue arose and each time I sit on hold for approximately 35 minutes before a recording prompts me to leave a message to get a call back. Each time I do and they never call back. I also emailed their Customer Support address as well as posted on their Facebook page. I did actually get a reply to my Facebook post asking that I message them my contact info and someone would call me that day and of course they didn't. It wasn't until a few days later that I did get a call, but I was unable to answer as I was at work, you know, doing my job, something these folks know little of. The girl left a super repetitive two minute long voicemail, but failed to provide a direct phone number for contact and stated to call their main support line for help. Awesome! Back to square one! Needless to say I haven't given up the fight and have filed complaints with the BBB as well as my Attorney General to get some form of resolution. For the select few who have gotten through to these folks, they were sent a shipping label to send the TV back and have a new one sent to them as a replacement. Those unfortunate souls, from what I have read, have stated how it has been three plus months since shipping back their TV and have yet to get their new one. Now if that is not shady I don't know what is. I guess that is what you get when the CEO of your company (Michael O'Shaughnessy) was recently indicted on charges of being apart of a $3.5 billion Ponzi scheme while he was the CEO or Polaroid a few years ago. Way to stay classy Mikey O! Now I am no fortune teller, but I can foresee other lawsuits in your near future stemming from all of this. read more

Not only are their products cheap and cheaply made (See Tim K's review on Yelp.), but they refuse to answer their phone or respond to voice or emails. The TV I got on black Friday last year (2014) at Walmart was the "rain check special." Now I understand why. We have not been able to use this TV in several months as it keeps randomly changing input sources and channels. I even removed the batteries from the remote to make sure we did not have a stuck key. I do not need to echo or reiterate Tim's comments. He nailed it. When you see an Element Electronics special - RUN, do not walk, as fast as you possibly can. Just DON'T do it! Save your money. read more

I bought one of their 50 inch tvs about 6 months ago from Target. I never damaged it at all. It keeps randomly shutting off all the time. From looking online I know see this is a somewhat common issue. I called their customer service and they told me that they will not process the warranty request unless I still have my receipt. I no longer have it. Other companies can just go off the serial number and see that it's still under warranty. These scammers don't do that because they know they have a piece of crap product and want to limit the amount of claims. I highly recommend not buying one of their tvs. Horrible company. read more

Sometimes "Black Friday Deals" are to good to be true. I thought I was getting a great Deal on a Element 75" Roku ultra high definition Uhd Led Tv. A great deal still cost me over $600. Thursday morning we left to go out of town. I shut the tv off before we left. Came home Friday night went to bed. Turned the tv on the next morning and there were lines going through the screen. The glass on the tv didn't have any damage to show. I messaged with Element Electronics pretty much all day. I sent them a picture of the tv screen with the lines In It they sent a message back to me and said that I physically damaged it and they closed the claim. They were not helpful and very rude and passive aggressive. Please friends don't make the same mistake I did. If a deal seems to good to be true move on. I've owned many tvs. owned this one for under a year. With a year warranty that they will not honor. read more

DON'T DO IT!! stop and THINK.!!! Spend a little more and receive a lot more than you'll save by buying from Element Electronics. T.V. only lasted 6 months and they do not pay for shipping to have the TV sent back to honor your warranty and they will not replace it with a new T.V.. If you pay to send it back they will give you a refurbished T.V.. I will NEVER BUY another Element Product ever Again. read more

While Element is to be commended on assembling Televisions in the US. My very young television has failed. Element Support is friendly to talk to, but otherwise they didn't lift a finger to help. I have searched for a new power supply and have not found none...even at large warehouse suppliers. The company was unwilling to help me find a suitable replacement assembly. Instead they encouraged me to just buy another set. Not happening. read more

The one Good Thing: I love the picture of the TV and I loved the price (Black Friday special). The Bad Things: After three months we started seeing a skinny blue line down the middle of the screen. So I went online and placed a service ticket. They responded quickly telling me all the information they would need. I didn't have the receipt, so I had to get a copy from Target (which is obviously where I purchased it). After a few days I received my receipt. So I sent them a picture of the receipt. Now they had everything they requested, so I'm thinking I'll get my replacement TV. No, I get an email saying 'They have no comparable TV's in stock to replace it with" So I asked "When will you be getting a replacement?" Their response "We will not be getting any comparable replacements. Take the TV to an authorized recycle center [such as, Best Buy], send us a copy of the recycle ticket and we will refund your money" Well here is my problem: I cannot purchase a "Comparable Replacement" for the amount of money they will be refunding me, because I bought it on a Black Friday special. I want a replacement TV, but I guess that is not going to happen. I even offered to wait until more replacements came in, but they said no, we have to refund your money. I just want another Ultra 4K Smart TV like the one I had! read more

What a despicable company that designs products to fail on customers after a short time. There is a reason why the manufacturer warranty is only 1 year - because after 1 year, the products (60" Television ELEFW606) are made to simply stop working. Cheaply made, cheap design and absolutely terrible customer service. I spoke to Iris, Agent # 6047 who agreed with me that the products are defective and flawed, but offered no recourse to rectify the faulty products. Told me to "send an email and someone might respond". How in the fuck does this company expect to get anywhere when they treat their customers like complete shit and their products are virtually unrepairable and completely illegitimate. Will be completley blasting this fucked up company on social media until i get a response from someone @ the corporate office who provides ****solutions**** to their customer's complaints and questions. #TURNELEMENTELECTRONICSTODUST #DONTBUYELEMENTTELIVISONS read more

Very unhappy!! Purchased a 19" TV for my sons bedroom, found the column base and screws were missing. Sent an email, 2 weeks later no response!! Called customer service and was told to return to the store where purchased and have them work it out. If you can't provide replacements for parts missing then I will be returning said tv and moving on to better, more reputable company. Never buying Element again!!! read more
