Like most Marriott Element hotels, this one is simple, clean and modern with a spacious lounge and good workspaces in the room. This is more of a functional hotel, and there's not much to do around the area. There's no view here and this hotel actually connects to the adjacent hotel.
The front desk staff is nice enough. What is weird is when we were checking in, they asked us if our phone number was a different one before finding the correct reservation. Similarly, when checking out, they asked us if we booked through a third-party website even though we booked directly with them. This hotel management system or team seems to be pretty disorganized.
I also asked for late check-out twice and confirmed it when I was checking in. However, there seems to be no communication with the cleaning staff. We only booked a night with late check-out for 4 PM, but the cleaning staff knocked on our door several times on a Sunday morning for housekeeping and didn't apologize when we said we had check-out. Overall, it's a nice enough hotel but the questionable interactions with the staff makes me question if we should stay here again, very jarring from our experience with the rest of our trip. read more
