After looking them up on Yelp, I decided to try them. I have been working with Dr Hahn and her team, including Callie and other hygeinists for their service. The office is super clean, pleasant and all the staff, including the front desk staff are super nice, friendly, respectful and kind. Dr Hahn and the team provide exceptional care and are super gentle, thoughtful during all the procedures, cleaning, x-rays and exams. I also am paying a one time yearly fee for the services provided which I believe is very reasonable since my insurance did not cover this office and other PPO Dentists. I believe that it is an exceptional value and highly recommend this team any dental needs.

After weeks of hearing nothing, I called my insurance company myself in July and learned that the authorization had never been submitted. From what I was told by Cynthia the office was planning to terminate its contract with my insurance and there wouldn't be enough time to complete the procedure. If she would've submitted back in May, we would've had plenty of time. instead of informing me or submitting the authorization as promised, nothing was done. Had they simply been upfront, I could have found another provider much sooner instead of waiting nearly two months in pain and uncertainty. To make matters worse, every time I called, I had to deal with Cynthia. Unfortunately, my interactions with her were consistently unprofessional. When I called to ask that the authorization be resubmitted because required information was missing, she argued with me telling me that there would not be enough time to complete the procedure before they no longer accepted my insurance and ultimately hung up on me. I've had several prior authorizations approved without any issues, so this experience was especially frustrating. Because of the office's lack of communication and failure to follow through, I now have to start the entire process over with a new dentist. Patients deserve honest communication and timely handling of insurance authorizations. Sadly, that was not my experience here.

Imagine your teeth chipping away only on one side. My husband always felt self-conscious about his smile. Hubby asked Dr. Wallace what he could do about his smile. Dr. Wallace gave him all new teeth. I do not know the technical terms.. idk if they are veneers or caps or?? Hubby's teeth were shaved down to little bits. Then the new teeth were put on over the former teeth. I don't know what this process is called, I simply call it amazing!! When I learn the words, I will update this review. Johnny, my hubby, smiles all of the time. This was a few years ago and this review is long overdue. Johnny also loves Matt Wallace's personality. They both love surfing and have a love of UFOs or X-files. Anyways, Matt Wallace is top notch. No, that's not all!!! Here is my story. My story is about Stacy. Stacy is THE MOST AMAZING DENTAL HYGENIST that ever walked the face of the earth. She only works there on Fridays, I believe. Why is she so amazing, you ask?? I have issues. I gag a lot. I forget to breathe. Perhaps, it is being at the dentist anxiety, IDK. I always feel embarrassed during and after my visits. I still visit the dentist every 6 months even though I have/had this issue. First of all Stacey is calm. If I start to get gaggy, she has me do yoga nose. It is a breathing technique that calms me down. The way that she uses that scraping utensil and the water tool are truly minimally invasive. Prior to Stacey, when the scraping part is occurring it just sounds so loud. The sound is my equivalent to nails on a chalkboard for me. It was a purely god awful sound. Stacy's technique does not come with these awful sound effects. She is calm. She makes me feel calm. She has a TV in the room that is on. It doesn't have sound, it is a way to distract one's self. I don't even need to look at it anymore. When there are chances to chat, we chat about travel. We love hearing about each other's adventures. You are probably thinking, this place cannot get any better.. Well it does. I love the office staff. As I was leaving yesterday, I shared some really great personal news. He takes the time to explain everything in great detail, making sure all of your questions are answered and that you leave with no doubts or concerns. He shows you exactly what is happening with each tooth, explains the procedures that may be needed, and provides treatment options without making you feel pressured. I especially appreciate that he prioritizes the most important dental work first and allows you time to consider your options. One of the things I love most is that they make crowns in-house. Their technology allows them to create a crown in about 35 minutes, which means the entire procedure can often be completed in a single visit. While appointments may last around two hours or a little longer, it is well worth it to avoid multiple visits and temporary crowns. I am truly grateful to have found a dental office that genuinely listens to its patients. The entire team takes the time to explain each treatment plan, review insurance costs, and discuss your individual case so you fully understand your options. Their attention to detail, professionalism, and patient-centered care make Smile Shapers an outstanding dental office.
