Ok let's get to it! I have been getting my eyebrows threaded for about 3 years now and i'm constantly traveling the U.S. on business and come to LA often. I trust them all to produce excellent work (because they all have done my brows) I started threading in 2011 and have never looked back. I get my brows threaded every 2-3 weeks and every time I leave the Valencia location, I feel amazing. I have thick eyebrows and they always maintain the natural shape of my brows while making them look flawless! If you want a nice experience, clean salon, friendly staff, affordable prices ($12 for brows) and professionals who can do your eyebrows the way you like them..this is the place to go!! They will even give you a consultation prior to them starting to make sure you are comfortable with what they will take off and leave. Ive recently moved back to Cali( after living in Ontario, Canada for 7yrs). Before I moved, I was getting my eyebrows threated in Artesia, but when I moved, there were no threading places so I went back to waxing( super cheap for 6 bucks, I was going to stick to waxing, but when I saw that it was 15 for an eyebrow wax, I quickly changed my mind. I've only had my brows threaded once here, but they looked great afterwards, The woman who did them told me not to touch them for 2 weeks so they can grow and she can prefect the arch, ITS KILLING me that I can't tweeze them and as soon as the 2 weeks are up, I plan to go back and get them done again, I'll update with the persons name. read more

I have been coming here for the last five years. I have always had great experiences here. Most recently I had an eyebrow threading by SIMI. She so great! She really knows what she is doing. I have very thick black eyebrows and light skin so my eyebrows are very important to me. She is helping me reshape them and reverse the plucking damage I have done in the past. I was super nervous to get my eyebrows threaded for the first time. Needless to say, I am now hooked on threading! It didn't hurt a bit and was so fast! My skin is super sensitive and I had no reaction whatsoever. Minus one star because my eyebrows seem to grow back faster with threading so I'm going in every week. For years I've been messing with my eyebrows myself and every time I do, I mess them up. It's a habit that I got into and it was really hard to stop. Since going to Alina, she has taught me the do's and don'ts of eyebrow maintenance. She educated me about what I was really doing to my eyebrows and what we could achieve if I stopped. As hard as it was, I stopped messing with them and I was growing them out (with some clean ups in between). Today, Alina told me that we can finally shape my eyebrows the way I've always wanted and she couldn't have done the job more perfectly. This may sound silly but, I almost wanted to cry because of how amazing they looked. I've NEVER seen my eyebrows this PERFECT before. The other is that they do not sanitize your hands/fingers before you touch your face. Oh sure, it is your fingers and your face, but this just sort of bothered me. Other places have this service, but whatever, I didn't knock them for this. The atmosphere is pretty awesome, ranging from nice quiet with no background music to soft background music with a hint of playfulness. The waiting area is pretty nice and comfortable. They service both male and female and appear to enjoy it. The threading is pretty quick and the professional I normally go to knows her stuff. She asked how I liked my brows, pointed out a slight scar in my brow that affected how my brows should be shaped, she did the whole nose, to cheek to forehead to determine the highest point of my arch. All of this took under 10 minutes. I was awed. The other lady here I went to (first chair) was good, nothing wrong, just not the same 'wow' effect as the other woman (second chair). Now, the fact that I have to say first chair and second chair is a great lead in to the front staff. The first time I was there I was waiting to pay when the young woman asked if she could help me. Considering she just placed me in the thread's hands less than 10 minutes that was odd. I told her I wanted to pay and that was fine. The lady before was given a discount card and so was the lady after me. I was not. The second time I went same thing. The lady before was given a card and the lady after me was given a card. I stopped, and asked about the card and she said, "Oh, I didn't give you one?" I said no and she gave me one...but didn't sign it. The look on my face must have said something but she asked for it back and signed it. She was very nice, the whole time, not attitude, just sort of unprofessional. As I make all my appointments online I do not deal with the front desk that often so I can not confirm or deny what another person posted here about her service. In the end this doesn't take away from the shop. It is a great place, great work, great price and the ease of parking is a bonus. I would suggest you make your appointments via their website, sit back and enjoy. read more
