I walked in and immediately I was greeted by the lady at the front desk and asked to check in with the tablet. She told me they would be with me soon but did not give a time. There were a few other people ahead of me and she did a great job of getting us sat down for our service. The place seemed to be pretty nice visually, with nice lighting, decor, and chairs to sit and wait. The first issue I had was with the sign in tablet where you have to select your service while checking in. The selections are limited so it didn't cover all specific services so you are forced to pick something that matches as closely as possible. Then I asked if they had a menu, which they did not. The lady mentioned having ordered menus but not yet receiving them. Menus come in handy so there are no surprises on expectations and the customer knows if prices are reasonable or not, giving us the opportunity to stay or find another place. I thought this was odd. After waiting 30 minutes, I was sat down for my feet. They seemed to give them same service to everyone with the hot towel, massage, and pedicure. They charged $32 for this with regular nail polish. Not bad. The lady did an awesome job. I went to get my nails done with a different lady and she did an amazing job too (Annie). She took my original acrylic nails off as a soak off per my request, and gave me a full set and charged $53 for the full set and $7 for the nail removal. I thought the full set price was more expensive than I usually pay but it was not a huge deal because she did them so nicely. I left very satisfied with the service provided. All in all, I like this place and their staff. I will be returning. I hope they change the tablet checkin and get menus for customers to see ahead of time. read more

They didn't listen when I said almond shape repeatedly. The filing was extremely uneven and not the correct shape. Then the polish came out bubbly and chunky and horrible. Won't be going back. I was convinced by the manager at Elegant nails to get a dip powder manicure as the only manicure that lasts. My nails looked "swollen" with heaped polish-equivalent. Within two days, 3 nails shed their polish including protective outer layers of the nail. They immediately began breaking. I attempted three times to have the manicure removed and they rudely told me to come back so I had to go elsewhere. And now 8 of my nails have broken back to the quick. Not a good place. The techs try to work at warp speed and in the process, I've had my nails drilled too hard, I've been cut multiple times, and the gel manicures don't last because they are sloppy. The worst fill and pedicure Iv ever had. The woman doing my pedicure made me walk barefoot with wet feet across the salon to pick a color because I didn't want gel. The arms on the pedicure chairs hit each other when they were down so they couldn't be used. She dug so deep on the sides of my toes I swear I'm going to get an ingrown toe nail, especially she dropped the tools on the ground and just kept going. The man doing my nails was even worse. Each nail is a different length and shape. He was going so fast and hard on my nails with the drill I thought he was going to drill them right off. I have never had a manicure hurt before!! I was one ouch away from walking out with my nails half done. I had one broken nail that he said he could repair, but did it horribly! Half way through my manicure, they also decided I wasn't allowed to have my handbag on the floor anymore and just shoved it behind me and made me share my seat with it. The polish is even bubbling and peeling just hours later. The worst part of it all was how dirty this whole place was. They used the same towel under my hands as the person before and then used it for the woman after me. The uv lamp was crusty with who knows what, and the files were not being cleaned. I live by this nail shop and have tried to go twice. 1st man the old man sitting in the front ignored me and after 10 minutes I spoke up and said I wanted my nail/ pedicure done. He told me to wait then never mentioned the wait was an hour. I went in yesterday with my own gel just to fix up 2 nails and he refused saying I can only use "their" nail gel. My gel wasn't even opened yet and he said he has problems when other people bring in their own color. Came here due to proximity to my hotel. Short wait time without an appointment but the service goes downhill from there. I asked the have my dip polish removed, have a manicure, then new dip applied. The person that checked me in asked if I would like to soak the dip off or do individual nail wrap - I said wrap. I'm seated at one station then asked to move to another station. The tech then proceeded to soak my nails, not what I asked for but I'll overlook it. Then I ask her to let me soak longer rather than repeated drilling to get remaining dip off. My request falls on deaf ears, she proceeds with drilling. Also nicked my cuticles a few times. All the dip is off and she immediately starts reapplying new dip. So much for manicure. The dip is very lumpy but I'm hoping she can smooth it out before applying the top coat. She tries her best but drills back down to my own nail trying to fix. She applies a single glob of the dip with a brush, pats it smooth and starts filing again. My finished nails have various light and dark spots with some lumps. Not sure if there was a language barrier but she didn't understand what I was concerned about. I'm sure there are some great techs there and maybe dip polish wasn't my tech's strong suit but I'd never go back there if I lived in this area. read more

This was the worst experience I've ever had in a nail salon anywhere in the world. They don't take reservations but make you wait after "signing in." They kept me waiting for 90 minutes (I was pretty desperate) and then had me sit down at a station that was filthy. I took my daughter in for a mani-pedi in preparation for a wedding. We went in close to the end of the day, about an hour before closing, and they made it seem like we were imposing. Yet, they managed to take in 2 more customers after us. But the most disappointing thing about this visit is that her gel manicure lasted only 3 days. By the third day, her polish was coming off in complete sheets. When I called to let them know, the manager made it seem like it was because she might have had oil on her nails or because she was a child and she probably bothered to make it come off. DO NOT take the chance and ensure that they understand and took note what you needed done even if you stated it clearly and repeatedly because once other customers come in, they forget you. I came in on a day they accepted walk-ins and was told to put my name on a sign-up sheet for 12:15. There we're at least 5-6 people doing pedicures at this time. I killed 45 minutes and returned then. At first no one indicated a chair; there was no one managing the flow of walk-ins; all were working on manis or pedis. Finally I was told 'chair 15'. I could not bring the chair into a more upright position and no one offered to help, even the pedicurist next to me, who could plainly see I was uncomfortable and having a problem. I removed my shoes and waited 35 minutes with my feet in a bath, sitting upright with nothing to relax against. I finally asked the worker next to me how much longer the wait would be. She shrugged her shoulders and said 'We're very busy'. At that point, they we're not, though there were 2 women ahead of me and now only one person doing pedicures. As this establishment uses a timer set on 30 minutes, I figured that would be at least another hour wait, on top of the 35 minutes since my assigned time. This was not the relaxing treat I had hoped for and I decided to leave. I asked for a towel and once a staff member realized I intended to walk out, she yelled across the space 'ONE MINUTE. I got there at 11:30 attempting to be first to avoid waiting for hours. As usual - the nail techs arrived half an hour late. I was second in line and when it was my turn and I said I just needed a nail repair - Kevin told me I would have to wait to be seen last. I had already waited an hour and now I was being turned away when I was here before majority of the customers. When he saw that there were more techs than customers he agreed to fix my nail. I just wanted a crack sealed with acrylic and needed it repainted. I asked if he could do a quick simple nail art and he went off on a rant about them doing $80 nail designs and insulting my nails. Sheesh! A simple statement saying he can't do nail art would have been fine. He charged me $11.98 for the repair of one nail and all while giving me attitude over it.
