    Update: the appointment itself was completely unprofessional, I did reach out to sherry personally…read moreto receive no response, and again just excuses instead of just admitting they we were unprofessional, didn't let me cancel an appointment after inconveniencing me without charging a $20 no show fee when I was at the wrong location down the street and proceeding to make the service the following day tense and bizarre while still not acknowledging the core issues that created this review in the first place. The comment now states that I didn't reach out to her privately. Here is what I messaged the owner on my experience: When someone is getting a Brazilian done, it shouldn't be even remotely uncomfortable or awkward. She did the job, but was so silent to the point she didn't give me professional cues like when she was going to pull in more delicate regions. I had to ask for that and at the end she was incredibly awkward and unable to maintain a professional demeanor in my honest opinion and I even told her if it was going to be this uncomfortable I wish that the $20 was just refunded. I still tipped her and I just don't tolerate that extreme of pretending when clearly things aren't ok obvious by her body language. Apple Maps still shows your old location and the way I was treated on the phone was really odd when I was trying to get clarity. She kept repeating the policy and a no show policy is not applicable to someone down the street at your old location because their maps took them there. She also tried to say it was 13 min past when I started texting and calling under the 10 min mark. She also didn't take me back into my appointment for 5 min so the congruency of policy was contradicting in of itself. When I got there, I was met with a bunch of deflections to Apple Maps and the girl at the front desk admitting this happens often and that at the same time she canceled my appointment, she had cancelled another person too. I was mind blown at the lack of regard for time and energy and money I lose out on by having to re-book and re-schedule when I showed up to my appointment and was right there. If something is a continuous problem, it needs to be fixed. I would think not only is this costly for customers like myself but for you too if your front desk is cancelling appointments that quickly and that often. I shouldn't have to fight for basic professionalism and fair policies. Original: They had moved locations to an address right down the road and didn't have it listed or any notification to clarify this was the case. On top of that, Their apple maps had their old address to make arriving all the more confusing. I was texting the number and eventually when I called about 10 min later, they said yes they had moved, that they will still charge me a no-show because it was too late to come to my appointment even though I was already there. I let her know I've been trying to text and call and that I have them on my phone and had to argue to the point it pissed me off and she said the best she could do was put it towards another appointment and that her system wouldn't let her cancel or refund a 20.00 charge. She was also giving me attitude and I finally had to say I'm really not asking for anything unreasonable and she kept rudely repeating there was nothing she could do. I truly just want a refund and to not be spoken to in a rude manner when I'm just trying to get clarity and make it to my appointment. When there are small mix ups like that I would expect some benefit of the doubt and not to be told there's nothing they can do when I made every effort to be there. That's nonsense and unprofessional. Don't penalize your customers and give them attitude when you aren't on top of your map updates and consistent information.

Got a lash lift here this week and they totally ruined my eyelashes. They're permed sideways, crossed over one another, and some lashes weren't curled at all-it looks awful. The esthetician was very sweet but clearly inexperienced--she missed dying some of my lashes, got dye on my forehead, and left glue all over my face. The woman who answered the phone was very rude every time I talked with her. My previous appointment was canceled last minute. When I rescheduled and they once again tried to move my appointment to a different time the day before. I definitely recommend going elsewhere for your lash and beauty needs. Learn from my mistake and save your lashes!

    Nancy took me in as an emergency appointment after having a very "temp set" put on in another…read morestate. They were supposed to get me through a few days of holiday parties and were lashes and glue that are sold over the counter. Having applied this type of lash before I knew they were easy to get off and would have done myself but didn't have the time or access to the supplies. Needless to say these were not done correctly and so the nightmare ensued. My lashes were glued in chunks...there was way more glue on my lashes than would be needed for 10 sets. I bought all the over the counter remover I could find and went to work trying to get them. Being that I was out of town and it was the day after Christmas I figured this was my only option. My lashes were coming out in clumps with the clumps of glue and lashes that had been applied. My boyfriend came back to the room to me in tears losing it trying to get them off. He called the concierge and was referred to Nancy. She said to come in immediately and she would fit me in. I went right over and she took her time making sure not to damage my natural lashes anymore than they already were. She was so professional and didn't scold me for the job that was done or bad mouth the person or application. I was crying when I arrived and thought I would be stuck like this for another 7 days or go home with none of my natural lashes. She removed them all and sent me on my way to enjoy the rest of my vacation. THANK YOU NANCY!!!

    I would give Zero Stars, if I could. I was in need of a new…read morestylist for a cut and color. When I called to schedule, Suzanne answered and said she was a pro at what I was needing. I was so excited to get in and get my hair done. When I got into her chair, she was very rude because I didn't know exactly what I wanted, or how to say it in "hair stylist terms" rather. I knew I wanted to match my roots at the very least, and then needed a trim. She told me that she couldn't help me because I didn't know what I wanted and I didn't have pictures to show her. Why do I need pictures when my hair / roots are right there in real life to match!??? I was dismayed and could not believe it...and still can't. I obviously got up and walked out. The looks on the other customers and stylists faces was also of disbelief. I WOULD NOT recommend SUZANNE, NOR SALON BOHÈME!! Keep looking. There's better stylists in Santa Fe, and way kinder.

I didn't listen to the messages but the texts started as 'You missed your appointment' and soon swung to 'I just want to make sure you are okay, please call!' I mentioned it to her and she replied, "S#!t, I missed my appointment." She called back and apologized for missing her appointment and asked if there was any way to squeeze her in at some point during the next few days. He advised her that unfortunately that wasn't possible as he was all booked up, but if she could hustle over there now he would work late and get her taken care of. He was super nice about it, and said he had mostly just become worried that she was okay. No wonder why she likes this place so much. He did a fantastic job on her hair too.
