I highly recommend Petunia at Petunias Place! She's the real deal, a City Different original, and…read morean awesome delight! Petunia reminds me of me in some ways, our birthdays are a couple days close. She's an extremely independent spirit. She is highly professional, has her own private salon space, and it's really an all encompassing spa experience to and for me. Petunia uses specialty products that are more natural. So say good bye to gel lamps, and all that stuff that can harm Or weaken you nails. She has a treasure trove of countless colors, and options. I brought a color I love, on my second visit! She is experienced, and a masterful professional and artist! I found it tremendously easy and welcomed to be my authentic self, on both my appointments. She had me there for 3 full hours of pampering and smoothing down my unattended rough edges, with salt scrubs, and filing the ridges off my nails. She's lovely, attentive, kind, real, and fun. Her personality compliments mine, and she's a very dear being and a treasure. I work like she does, as a hypnotherapist, giving extra time and attention, valuing my clients and learning from them! She is full of love, and I am too, so we get along famously. If you just want to fade into the rafters and have a quick, uneventful boring manicure in a sea of foreign manicurists, go somewhere more generic. Yet if you too are a Santa Fe original, and comfortable and secure in yourself, and being honored, respected, and treated like the true queen that you are, try something new, and let this dear professional upshift you to the next level of true fine craft and care! I truly love Petunia like an old soul kin friend, and I've only been to her twice. You will feel so blessed and beautiful inside and out. What a glorious gift to myself of connection, renewal, and supreme self care! Local, tourist, creative, whomever you are, near or far, I highly recommend Petunia's Place for the works. Don't skimp on yourself! Get all the bells and whistles. Make it a spa day! You are worth it! Yay! Graced and Grateful! Thank you Petunia! I look marvelous, and am turning heads with my lovely mani pedi!

Check out my Ombré awesome gel nails!!! Yellow blended to pink with sparkles at bottom of each…read morenail! I've never seen anything like this offered at other salons. To save money, I asked for color change instead of full-on manicure and the man worked really meticulously to do the 2 colors, then gently and beautifully dabble the sparkles. I'm SUPER pumped and it's gonna last 2 weeks!! Only $20 if you ask for color change (not listed on the menu) instead of usual mani. Normal gel color change is $15, $5 extra was for the ombré design. He spent a ton of time perfecting the design on each nail, so I tipped him generously. Definitely longer than a normal manicure and what a deal! Instruments looked clean to me, not sure what everyone else is complaining about. Expectations should match the price and caliber of establishment - don't expect wine and fru-fru service like at a real spa with $60+ pedis If any technician goes too hard on sensitive spots, just tell them, they'll be more careful :) Every person's skin is different. I'll definitely be back!!

Noticed the middle finger and the gap between my real nails and the tip. Fungus waiting to happen.

The staff were all very friendly and seemed professional. They do have a few male staff here but…read moretheir clients seemed comfy while getting mani pedi. The towel was a bit too hot for one of my legs, they could have been a bit more cautious with the hot towel. Other than that, I would say 3-4 star service. She told me I needed the $65 service (climate and dryness). I explained first visit so just wanted basic. She stared running the water and just wandered off. Stood down the aisle doing nothing. Water kept running into basin getting closer to over flowing. Then the stylist next to me, while taking care of her own client, reached over to turn off the water. I then sat for another 7 minutes, no one helping me. I saw the original person then walk over to another client to start with her. She then sent a younger guy over (none of this being his fault) who then started to pitch me services again. I had enough. I left. Personally I feel absolutely that the original stylist just felt there was not enough in this for her. Terrible

Well, it turned out to be a 30 minute wait, but my sister and I were committed so we just waited and chatted. Over all, the pedicures we got were fine, although the paint job on my feet could have been better... it was a tiny bit sloppy, but from a far they look great! What else was great was my extra long foot massage! I asked for an extra ten minutes and I am thrilled I did because my woman did an amazing job!!! I haven't found a nail spa with a good foot rub as well in a long while, too bad this place is FAR AWAY from where I actually live! My sister was pleased with her pedicure too, and asked for a firework design (cause she's just so patriotic?) that turned out awesome! Over all, this place was decent. I would probably only come back because of the foot massage, however, I only know of one lady being good at the foot rubs, so who knows what all the other technicians are like... That being said, this place is crazy busy, so they must be on point!

But she finished the gel manicure and I still tipped her. However, I went on vacation the next day and my finger got infected to the point of tender, red and filled with pus. I was overseas, but luckily a friend had neosporin and bandaids. My finger took over a week to heal. Today I called in the morning and was told to come in at 230. Every technician was busy when I arrived and I had to wait 45 minutes despite my appointment. I've been coming here for over a year and was never treated so badly. When Lonnie, the one in charge, finally took me, she said the two other female technicians refused to work on me! So I told Lonnie that no, the one gal had hurt me and caused an infection, but still she didn't believe me. I should have walked out but I really needed the manicure. Never again. They overbook and tell walk-ins it's only a 10 minute wait. Don't believe them. They are so rude. I do not recommend.
