The comment now states that I didn't reach out to her privately. Here is what I messaged the owner on my experience: When someone is getting a Brazilian done, it shouldn't be even remotely uncomfortable or awkward. She did the job, but was so silent to the point she didn't give me professional cues like when she was going to pull in more delicate regions. I had to ask for that and at the end she was incredibly awkward and unable to maintain a professional demeanor in my honest opinion and I even told her if it was going to be this uncomfortable I wish that the $20 was just refunded. I still tipped her and I just don't tolerate that extreme of pretending when clearly things aren't ok obvious by her body language. Apple Maps still shows your old location and the way I was treated on the phone was really odd when I was trying to get clarity. She kept repeating the policy and a no show policy is not applicable to someone down the street at your old location because their maps took them there. She also tried to say it was 13 min past when I started texting and calling under the 10 min mark. She also didn't take me back into my appointment for 5 min so the congruency of policy was contradicting in of itself. When I got there, I was met with a bunch of deflections to Apple Maps and the girl at the front desk admitting this happens often and that at the same time she canceled my appointment, she had cancelled another person too. I was mind blown at the lack of regard for time and energy and money I lose out on by having to re-book and re-schedule when I showed up to my appointment and was right there. If something is a continuous problem, it needs to be fixed. I would think not only is this costly for customers like myself but for you too if your front desk is cancelling appointments that quickly and that often. I shouldn't have to fight for basic professionalism and fair policies. Original: They had moved locations to an address right down the road and didn't have it listed or any notification to clarify this was the case. On top of that, Their apple maps had their old address to make arriving all the more confusing. I was texting the number and eventually when I called about 10 min later, they said yes they had moved, that they will still charge me a no-show because it was too late to come to my appointment even though I was already there. I let her know I've been trying to text and call and that I have them on my phone and had to argue to the point it pissed me off and she said the best she could do was put it towards another appointment and that her system wouldn't let her cancel or refund a 20.00 charge. She was also giving me attitude and I finally had to say I'm really not asking for anything unreasonable and she kept rudely repeating there was nothing she could do. I truly just want a refund and to not be spoken to in a rude manner when I'm just trying to get clarity and make it to my appointment. When there are small mix ups like that I would expect some benefit of the doubt and not to be told there's nothing they can do when I made every effort to be there. That's nonsense and unprofessional. Don't penalize your customers and give them attitude when you aren't on top of your map updates and consistent information.

Had arranged the appt online, so I didn't know what she looked like. The raving reviews convinced me. I arrived 15 minutes early and sat down. It was a small, intimate salon. A stylist was working on a client. They had a pleasant conversation. For 20 minutes I sat close by without even once being addressed. Not a word, no eye contact. Oh well, I had my phone - and had found a parking spot in front. Life was good. The stylist finished with one client and without looking at me now called a young woman over, who had just entered. After hugs and chats she started an animated consultation with her. Hair samples were pulled out etc. It was now close to 10 minutes after my appointment. I was a bit confused and asked if someone was coming to cut my hair, thinking that there was maybe another stylist who was running late. I was in no hurry, just wanted to know. But no, the stylist who had ignored me the entire time was indeed mine! And to make things even more weird, she now yelled at me if I couldn't I see that she was doing a consultation and that I was rude for interrupting and also rude for having shown up early! She looked at her watch and said she would finish the consultation and then come and cut my hair. Her aggressive attitude didn't make me feel very good about having her near my hair with scissors, so I responded that I didn't think this wouldn't work for me. She got even more upset, ran up to me and told me she would charge me $160 if I walked out. I'd be a no- show. I honestly didn't know how to respond. The other client suggested that she could wait until I was done, but the stylist dismissed that and now screamed that she had changed her mind, she would not cut my hair, something she repeated multiple times with the F bomb thrown in. I left (rather fled) and the last I heard was that I I was F... rude. During this entire bizarre experience I only spoke a few words and never raised my voice. I have no clue what triggered this unhinged and unprofessional behavior. She had never met me, I was dressed nicely,yet she was impolite from the moment I entered the door.
