So my friend and I decided to come here on a whim after another nail salon said they're were too busy to accommodate 2 walk-in pedicure services simultaneously....sooo, I had to turn to the help of yelp, and up pops Elegant Nails. This place is spacious and clean with a light airy, modern decor..truly, an unexpected surprise from the exterior, which is a small strip mall with a pizza shop next door. They have plenty of manicure and pedicure stations..approximately 10 pedi chairs. Also, Each pedi station's tub is lined with a disposable bag. The young man that performed my pedi services made these claws look like perfectly pampered feet afterwards...so kudos to him. Even though Im not from the area, I was truly impressed by this nail shop located in this small town...so for that reason, I highly recommend! read more

And it was easy to get an appointment! The pedicure was tremendous- thorough, relaxing, stimulating-all the components of a great treatment. Also the chairs are high quality and are pre-programmed so you don't have to mess with the remote. I just moved here and I thought I found my NEW Favorite Nail Salon! After 6 visits I saw a very UNPROFESSIONAL owner act rude to me! I had an appointment and I was pushed to the side with my nails wrapped in foil for 45 minutes! My nails and fingers were BURNING! I begged to have it taken off and as the owner took care of other clients... he asked me "can I come back later?!!" I asked to file a nail down and he threw his file at me ! He kept telling me I don't have "patience!" I will never go back there again! I tried to be nice, But he was so RUDE! Even trying to get the last word in as I left saying that I "must have patience!" The male owner became very frustrated when I took longer than 60 seconds to decide on a color and told me he did not have time to do my nails now. I replied "I drove an hour to come, don't you remember ?" and he said, "that's ok I don't have time for you now". All because I asked him if the color was more gray or pink. This husband and wife duo have zero patience for the public. I have never been treated so rudely in a nail salon. It was truly disheartening to see the lack of kindness. read more

Elegant Nails is one of the best salons I've been too! They are very clean and organized, all of the staff is friendly and welcoming, and they did an amazing job. I got a basic pedicure for $27 and it was very relaxing! Most of the time, people rush through and just want to get out of the door, but that was definitely not the case. This is a husband and wife team and is a 100% improvement over Lee Nails and frankly any other nail salons I've been to. My nails are already frail. I don't like long nails or anything that looks fake, so when I do get my nails done, I always get a French manicure...which isn't easy to pull off with short nails. It can look pretty fake. They take so much time and care for maybe $5 more than a chain salon and it's more than worth it. Very clean shop, relaxing and less crowded because they prefer to work by appt. I just learned they started their salon in Pinehurst 20 years ago and are still at it. That says a lot. Highly recommend. read more

It was my first time coming here but never again! My pedicure came out not so good. One of the ladies wasn't too friendly either.

The minute I got to the salon, the owner was on her phone and stayed on the phone during my pedi and dipping powder manicure. Never said "hello" or offered me a drink. I had to ask for one. If the call was that important, take it in the back room. It's no wonder there were only two customers there. I won't go back. No wi-fi either. read more

These people are super nice! I went in for a full set gel nail. From the moment we walked in the door, everyone was friendly and laughing and just so great. The woman doing my nails was amazing. She was so friendly and made great conversation the entire time. Not to mention, the nail job she did has got to be by far the best set I have EVER gotten ANYWHERE. They look great!!! I am extremely displeased with the lack of professionalism and rude treatment of my family member who is visiting from out of town. I recommended she go to Elegant Nails since I had been there before and didn't have a problem. Her visit today was a horrible experience. She went for gel mani & pedi but was treated so rudely, she left after the manicure. As business owners, Thalla and her husband should know you treat customers with courtesy. Also their sign hanging outside their business advertises 20% off but when you ask if that will be applied, it isn't unless you buy $100 in gift cards, then they give you an additional $20 gift card. I call that "Bait and Switch"! Never will use or recommend them again. read more

Terrible customer service. I've worked in the customer service industry for a very long time and that was by far the worst I've experienced. They rushed through getting my nails done, didn't have any of the colors that I chose from which were options that was given to me. Then they picked a color recommended by the owner and it wasn't what I wanted whatsoever. Only put two coats on so it was super clear. She was snappy when I asked to go a little short. If I'm paying to get them done it should be up to me how I like it. Which wasn't a crazy request. Never going back, and I recommend if you want somewhere nicer and more professional go to Lee Nails up the road. read more
