Didn't know about this Pinehurst gem until this week. (11/26/24). Dew gave me the best pedicure and manicure I've had in years. My daughter had an appointment the next day and loved her manicure. It was a nice and relaxing pedicure for myself. However, it was clear that they were on a time crunch from several booked appointments and walk-ins that were starting to overlap. My wife's manicure wasn't done the best, even after being addressed. They were very nice though, especially with the demand from the oncoming traffic of rude individuals coming in. read more

I have read some negative reviews about Bella. They focus on waiting with an appointment and not having walk in availability. I just want to say if you want a quick job at the last minute then just go somewhere else. If you can plan ahead and want to relax and get an excellent manicure or pedicure then look no further. The staff here is the most professional and friendly and accommodating (if you aren't in a hurry). Yes they keep an answering machine on instead of answering but if you are local (which you would be if going here) then just stop in to get your appointment a week in advance and you won't be disappointed. They do any kind of manicure you want and have any color you could imagine for all types - gel, dip powder or traditional. The quality results and gentleness are second to none. The shop is quaint, clean and relaxing without stuffiness and the prices are extremely reasonable! I cannot recommend Bella enough for a quality job and lovely experience. read more

Easily the best spa/nail place I've been to. The owner and staff are incredibly kind and easy going. My mom and I stopped in on a whim and they fit us into their already busy schedule. The foot massage with my pedicure was . I've never gotten my nails done regularly, but I just might start after visiting Bella Spa & Nails. I had a customer of mine refer me to here so I thought I would go with my Mom. We did not call ahead. We got there at 2:30 and they asked if we could come back at 3:30, she wrote our names down and what we were wanting. We came back at 3:30. I was expecting a wait because I have never been to a nail spa and not had to wait off an appointment even with my regular girl. The lady that wrote our names told us to pick our colors, and had our water waiting. We told them we only wanted the regular pedicure. They got their little suitcases out with the "sanitized packets" of nail clippers :)! Happy happy happy!!, I like to get to know the person that is doing my pedicure because I tend to be a loyal person. I don't like to shop for hairdressers or manicurists. I was surprised that the lady acted like she wanted to talk to me! Admit it, how many times have you been to a nail salon and the people are talking amongst themselves and you are sitting there wondering what in Gods green garden they are saying about your feet! This was a welcome change! We were in and out within 30 minutes.. Only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is due to space. They really are cramped and if you are claustrophobic you may not want to go. $27.00 for regular pedicure. They give you a rewards card at the end as well. I asked for water and they brought me bottled water. Nothing pretentious, no wine or nuts. But the conversation and my nails bring cut how I wanted them was worth not having the wine!!!! read more

Quiet and serene atmosphere. Very pretty/minimalist salon. Prices are great for the service. We had an appointment for three for their classic mani/pedi's and they were right on time. I like that there are special services for children 12 & under and nail art is included. Two of us had gel polish and their selection of colors is extensive. I had gel nails removed and they took the time to remove them carefully and correctly. It probably took more time then most but I never felt they were rushing or were annoyed at who did my nails before. I will certainly be a repeat customer here. read more

Normally a favorite neighborhood spot but it did not live up to normal standards today. Between the long wait for my scheduled appointment, the cold foot bath and the customer on the phone it was not the relaxing experience it usually is. I currently have a nail fungus after getting my nails done at this salon! I know this came from this salon and wish I would have gone with my gut upon arrival. Upon arrival the salon seems quaint. I sat down, and waited, and waited. This happens and no biggy. While waiting I noticed the lady behind me asking "why would her nails discolored in some spots after having gel nails for a few weeks" the two employees, one being the owner chatted back and forth which I couldn't understand except, I did hear the word "fungus" and "it would cost $10 to treat" This caught my attention of course. I thought that was interesting but then the owner sat down to start my gel nail set and I never thought about it again. As I observed how my nails were being managed, I started to get grossed out, like the nail file that was being used on my nails was leftover from someone else, because it had the white shavings of nail reminisce on the emoryboard prior to being used on my nails. It was just sitting on the table exposed and wish I had said something. Then came the gel part where the salon owner was wiping each stroke of his brush on the palm of his hand in an attemt to wipe off access gel stuff. I was in shock because A.) why wasn't there some sort of papertowl around to clean off the excess gel instead of using his hand? and B.) my hands just laid on the table without a clean towl, or papertowl underneath as my nails were getting done. In my 30 something years of getting my nails done, have I ever been to this dirty of a salon!! As I sit here, typing this out, I currently have fungus on 3 nails! I am totally disgusted in the fact that I did not walk out or say something. Shame on me! Don't make this mistake, and don't be fooled that since it's in Pinehurst, it's clean. Look around the place and you will see for your self! This place needs to be cleaned up before we all have fungus in PInehurst! read more

As an out of town guest, I loved my experience with this salon! My mom and I went and got a pedicure and manicure. The staff was very welcoming and meticulous with their work. We got French tip (shellac) on our fingernails. My thumb was recently broken and I barely have a nail left. They took the time to get a nice French tip on that nail, even though I told them they didn't have to. If I come back to the area, I will definitely go back. Keep up the good work!! read more
