I knew I needed something more than just PT or even a spa massage. I needed help sorting out the root of the issues and treating the whole body. Don't get it twisted. This is not a relaxing spa type of massage. This is what I like to call the torture but feels good afterwards therapy. I won't stay on a spot when I'm foam rolling if it's too painful, but here, I have to let go of that control and let them work through all the issues. They work the entire chain (it's all connected so if you're feeling pain in your back it could be from you neck and shoulders or even your glutes & hamstrings). Sports massage is not just for athletes, this will help anyone dealing with nagging issues or even to help prevent issues down the road. Though if you are wanting to perform better or feel better as you train, this is an absolute necessity and important self-care. I have worked with several of the therapists here, and they are all phenomenal in their own technique and style, so you can't go wrong with any of them. I especially love how they all consult with you first before going into the therapy so they can hear what's going on and treat you accordingly. There's no way I would have crossed that finish line last December or bounced back as well if not for the incredible team here. A special thank you to Clayton and Jennifer who are no longer at this location but were pivotal in my healing. She appeared young and didn't seem to know what she was doing at all. This was surprising, as I've had full-body Swedish massages in 30 minutes before without an issue. Throughout the massage, her attitude seemed off, and she was rough with her technique. Her arms were felt scratchy against my skin, and she kept using her elbows, which hurt. Even after I told her it was uncomfortable, she didn't adjust. Swedish massages are supposed to be soft and relaxing, but this was anything but. She finished early, leaving the room at 11:21, so I didn't even get the full 30 mins I paid for. I got dressed and when she never returned so I went to the front desk at 11:27, only to see her kneeling on the floor casually chatting with the receptionist. I've always booked online and had decent experiences here, but this walk-in appointment was a complete disappointment. There was zero relaxation; I left feeling more tense and irritated than when I arrived. It's definitely not worth the $50 (with tip), and I won't be coming back.
